SPEAKER_02

What I what I discovered there was so much trauma or abuse that I just pushed down and buried away and tried to forget. All right. Forget it. Forget about it. My mother would say, Oh, you'll it'll be gone by the time you're married. Okay, what was going on that's gonna disappear? Okay, things like that. Just dismiss it. We don't talk about those things in our house, right? Everything is gonna be okay or good. And there weren't things that were okay or good. So going on this trip was very intentional because, like you said or mentioned, in at that point in my career, I was taking medication. Okay. Heavy okay. I was taking things for antidepressants and for sleeping and realizing this isn't really good for me. And uh it worked for a little bit and then it kind of became addicted to these prescriptions, drugs, and it's like uh this is not good. I'm getting every bad side effect, no help to get off of it, so to speak. Okay. So an ex like an intentional experience. I need to find a shift or change in my life that's gonna be the catalyst to do it. So the trip was intentional to find more peace in my life or less trust, because at the time I was still working, okay? So I would just say, I'm going away in a personal retreat. I never said I'm gonna go do some spiritual jury or work with Sean within Peru because in the context where I was working in a bank is like, you are freaking nuts, John. This is this, you're pretty far out, you know.

Living Waters Wellness Center was formed after we discovered how to heal my body from multiple symptoms, including allergies, asthma, chronic fatigue, back pain, psoriasis, acne, hives, yeast infection, and finally cancer, and I did it all naturally. After 20 years of trying numerous different treatments, medical treatments, cleanses, iridology, muscle therapy, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, naturopathy, those experiences led us to discover that recipe that led to become known as the Four Natural Laws of Healing. Combining multiple natural healing modalities to fully detox and cleanse the body and allowing the body to take the perfect nutrition to fully restore the body back to its innate health. This became known as a 10-day healing retreat. We've helped thousands of people just like you get their health restored so they can live their life to the fullest. I think you guys will find this very enlightening and entertaining. His name is John Whitehorse. He's a former corporate banker, and he also has written a documentary, developed a documentary in 2016 called the Shamanic Trekker Journey to the Source. And his current work centers on soul loss, soul retrieval, and what he calls a natural trauma release method for people who feel stuck after therapy, especially with anxiety, burnout, and emotional numbness. We see that here at Living Waters during our 10-day healing retreat, John. John, welcome to the show. Thanks for having me today. Yeah. Excited to have you on. And so you have been to Macho Picchu, Peru. I've had a lot of my friends go down there. So I'd like to kind of hear your background. You're in corporate banking, and sounds like now you're off in the emotional uh tool healing ability. So you've completely shifted your life. Tell us a little bit about your backstory and why you're here.

SPEAKER_02

So, yeah, my backstory let's just start when I was young. I grew up in a really small farming community in Wisconsin. It was about 600 people. My father and grandfather were shoemakers, and I learned the trade as well. But as I got older, you know, in high school and college age, I decided that really wasn't for me. So I went off to school and uh started living my life working, had three jobs, worked really hard, you know, like a lot of found my way into some real estate, then I led into a career into banking where I, you know, was vice president, managed a huge portfolio of uh mortgages, commercial banking, commercial investment, uh a lot of land development, real estate construction. Love, love that work until I got burnt out and really it wasn't for me anymore. Didn't really feel like switching to another bank. And it's like, what am I gonna do? Because I was like 49 years old, I guess. So uh how am I gonna reinvent myself? So through that journey, I was introduced to a number of, you know, counselors, so to speak, therapists of some sort. Uh started working with someone who was called a shaman, had no idea what that was at all. And the person just drummed over me and kind of gave me an intuitive reading, and that was insightful because it's like this is kind of insightful to me. And then before I knew it, I was off in a little retreat with another person that had done some studies with you know the shamans. And about two months after that, I found myself in Peru. Uh, went there for about eight days. That was the plan and stayed there almost 30 days, stayed there for about a month, and over that time I sat in ceremony with the shamans and learned their culture, their way of life in the high Andes. Did they, you know, healing on me, and when I came back, that kind of brought up my whole background and past. So I followed studies with that and found out that I could, after I got rid of my baggage, so to speak, which was a lot, I found that I could help others do the same. Maybe not that same trajectory, but that's why I'm doing this work because of the transformation that's occurred in my life. And I live a pretty brilliant, fun life full of just about everything you could imagine that's awesome or good for us.

SPEAKER_03

That's an interesting journey. You know, I find it after 20 years in the work I do now, I find it absolutely fascinating how all of us, everyone goes on a different journey to finally get to their soul, if you will, and release their stuck energy, their their traumas and so forth. Everyone has a different way of getting there. And so I always find it interesting. Now, years ago, uh you just used the word shaman. I don't a lot for a lot of our guests, what the heck was a shaman? Who what does that mean? I heard of that in 2000, and somebody said, Yeah, this guy's a shaman. I'd go like, okay, what's that? What is that, John?

SPEAKER_02

A lot of misperceptions, right? So in the indigenous world, right, the ancient way, the shaman was like uh let's say the priest or healer in the community. So they would look up for their crops, they would look out for the health of the community, they would they would seek them out for you know emotional healing or trauma that had came up into their lives. So they were a big caretaker of the communities, all right? So that's what they did, you know, in an ancient world and to some extent that still ha exists in Peru in the high Andes. But in a modern context, it's a bit different. You know, the misperception would be that the shaman is doing all sorts of psychedelic drugs, and you know, I should look tribal and all tattooed and look really kind of far out, right? That's what we kind of perceive it to be, or you know, some television shows perceive it and portray it in that way. And that's not really what it can be in a modern world. So I've learned these techniques and ancient ways and through initiations and training and put it into a modern context, and really what I'm helping people do is release their trauma, their old stories, their unhealthy feelings, and get them going on their life's journey, whatever that may be. Hopefully it's their highest and best purpose. That's what we all seek.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, so traditional, you were you're in corporate banking and obviously very stressful in that world. The the world of watching interest rates and and and money and and people get a little triggered by what's going on no matter where it's at. It's something we so focus on. So you what did did you like, okay, I gotta find some way to get better and that led you down there? Did you try other things here locally? Did you go to a psychiatrist, psychologist, take drugs? I mean, what led you kind of to into this?

SPEAKER_02

Well, during the high stress, like you you explained that quite well, money, money, money and the ups and downs of it. And even when it's going good, people have a lot of stress around it. So managing a big portfolio was extremely stressful. So in that time, you know, I probably did drink too much, you know. I had my my addictions that, you know, masked that or helped me overcome like that. I thought it was helping me overcome that stress. Uh so yeah, I saw talk therapists, you know, I would go go do that. Traditional therapy, so to speak. Not really super helpful, at least the ones that came across my path. So this was just a completely different way. A friend introduced me to this type of other way of looking at how we could release heavy feelings or the stress that I was undergoing, and it was kind of it felt natural to me. So it it worked, so I continue that path. I never set out to like do what I do now. It's just kind of an evolution of my life's journey to be where I'm at today.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Okay, tell us more about that. So you you go on this, you go to Machu Picchu, you get down there. What what tell walk us through that? What was that like?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so the first introduction was, you know, um, it was kind of in man versus nature. My friend had brought brought introduced me to like going there. He said, You need to go on this pilgrimage with me. I've been going there for years, and I need to go to this mountain to, you know, more or less camp. That was the easy way of stating it. So I thought that would be pretty awesome just to go into the high andes and like camp at, you know, 17,000 feet. That was what I thought I was kind of getting into. So the journey there, you know, at that time in my life, I really never traveled much. It was work, work, work. I live in the Midwest, and a lot of people don't travel a lot. They stay close to home. And, you know, what feels familiar is what's familiar and they kind of stay with it. Maybe go to Florida, kind of stereotypical vacations and golf and all that kind of stuff. So, but this was very different, different cultures, different, you know, South America. It was completely wide open to something new, and I didn't really know what was going to come, but I was open to the adventure, so to speak. So during that time, you know, did travel through Peru, going to Machu Picchu, you know, it's the iconic photo, right, that we see all the time. And you step into that place and you take this crazy bus ride up through the jungle, this switchback road, it's was pretty wild to say the least. So stepping into this view and the like the jungle energy or just the energy that that's held there, it's pretty auspicious of like, wow, this ancient culture had something special that was going on at the time and still holds that, even though there's not a tremendous amount of history around exactly what was going on there. It's all vaguely structured, right? We can look at all the architectural, all the all the the how it was constructed. There's a lot of information on that. But as far as how the community lived and thrived, that's still kind of a vague, let's put it that way. But being in a place that was so different from where I grew up or how I lived here, it is kind of uh there is just like a peace. I don't know how to say it. This is how the peace, how the people live. Everything's in balance. It's like there's no women's work, there's no men's work, everybody does the same thing. They kind of pitch in and help each other, like up to your best neighbor, like you would want. You need some help, they come help you out. And then in return, you go help them. And that's the concept they call hiny is being in right relationship. So somebody it's this beautiful give and take. We live in the world where people just want to take from us and not give much in return, or maybe we're the one taking all the time and and not giving anything back, so to speak, to our our community or family or you know, society in in a broader perspective. So just being in that type of environment uh was really profound for me, I guess you'd say. Was uh a needed change because of coming out of such a high stress environment. I couldn't you couldn't be a bigger 180, so to speak.

SPEAKER_03

Interesting. So the atmosphere there is just such all of a sudden you're experiencing a whole different, I guess, energetic world, if you will, that that that allows you to kind of get to peace. Is that what I hear you saying?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, exactly. It's it I could state it until you go there and feel that, you know, we like everything else, we need to experience it for ourselves. But yeah, it's just the way of life, how the people conduct themselves, a slower pace, right? We live in such an outcome-based world. We push, push, push to get ahead or strive to have material things for lack of a better word, because that's the view of uh mindset of what is successful for many of us. And there's things beyond success, which is like, you know, having a beautiful family or friends and uh, you know, comfortable life or a peaceful life and not full of stress and worry and trying to be something that we're we're not. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, so you get there, and then uh what wha how what what did you do to discover, oh my gosh, this is a great way for me to let go of my my stress. Nothing is more exciting than seeing a client shed their diseases and symptoms caused from accumulated toxins from the chemicals in our foods, the clothes we wear, and the air we breathe, than by cleansing through colon hydrotherapy and treating the whole body naturally. Here's what a few clients had to say about their experience at Living Waters Wellness Center.

SPEAKER_01

Hi, my name is Shauna, and I just graduated from the 10-day retreat, and it completely changed my life. Uh mentally, physically, spiritually, I am a better human. I'm a better mother, I'm a better wife. I know it seems that I'm upset, but I am so happy. Um they're like miracle workers here. Physically, I feel like 25 pounds later. Anyone, any women out there that feel the same way, that have been diagnosed with any kind of autoimmune disease at all, and just go get one liver cleanse. Just go get one clawic. That's all it takes and start your journey there. Thank you, Living Waters.

That's 208-378-9911. The preceding examples may not be typical of your experience, it may not be right for you. Talk to a healthcare professional to see if cleansing is right for you. How could I say it?

SPEAKER_02

It just occurred. Okay. It just really occurred. So sitting with the, you know, the community, right? They did I actually was in their community that, you know, we're talking, you know, 16,000, 17,000 feet. Many still live. There's five NXs, five communities in the High Andes. They're all interconnected with each other. So they're the descendants of the Incas. So they were driven there to the mountains by the Spaniards in the 1500s or, you know, that time frame. So they still live in many ways an ancient life. They're stone hutch, that truth, no heat, you know, no really running water. There's some modern amenities now coming in that are, you know, solar powered. There's some schools there to, so to speak, uh, but it's still they live a very ancient, ancient way. So we don't live an ancient way. You know, we're surrounded by comfort. The the hut that I slept in was like a potato storage. You know, it's like the yeah, let's say it was their guest quarters, okay? So I'm sleeping in this literally stone hut with a thatched roof on these like really thick wool horse blankets, so to speak, surrounded by bags of potatoes. So it's a very earthy connection, right? And it gets super cold at night. You know, it gets freezing at that altitude, it's gonna get quite cold, to say the least. So just having experiences like that just how can you say? The stress just kind of shifted away because it was such a um such a different way of just being in that moment. And then they realize that we can't calm down. We don't have to live the way that we're living, getting off this treadmill of whatever treadmill we're on, so to speak, is different for each of us. And we each find our way to work through our issues if we have the right help to unwind all this complexity that we create for our lives or the complexity that's around us. So, you know, it's they live a very intentional life. The key with them is intention. So for medious, intention could be prayer, you know. It may mean be as organized in the words, but the it the outcome is still the same. If we pray, we're praying for certain things, they come into being. We said intentions for certain things, they can come into being. So it's it's with pretty organic, I guess you would say, not a tremendous structure around uh being there. It just really unfolded for me and it does for many. So I take groups there every maybe 18 months or so and try to recreate a similar experience and see if that's the shift that they're looking for. So it's uh people go there to look to find peace in their lives or being whole, whatever whole might be for. What I what I discovered there was so much trauma or abuse that I just pushed down and buried away and tried to forget. All right, forget it, forget about it. My mother would say, Oh, you'll it'll be gone by the time you're married. Okay, what was going on that's gonna disappear? Okay, things like that. Just dismiss it. We don't talk about those things in our house, right? Everything is gonna be okay or good, and there weren't things that were okay or good. So going on this trip was very intentional because, like you said or mentioned, in at that point in my career, I was taking medication. Okay. Happy Okay, I was taking things for antidepressants and for sleeping and realizing this isn't really good for me. And uh, it worked for a little bit and then it kind of became addicted to these prescriptions, drugs, and it's like uh this is not good. I never said I'm gonna go do some spiritual jury or work with Sean within Peru, because in the context where I was working in a bank is like, you are freaking nuts, John. This is this, you're pretty far out, you know. Um, but I was emotionally pretty far out. So maybe I was doing something extreme in hindsight. It didn't feel that way, but it was a pretty radical shift from where I was living in in the Midwest, to say the least. So unpacking those old emotions, dealing with those life experiences that were painful, and coming to terms like yes, it happened, how am I gonna get through it and acknowledge it and not let it hold me back, right? Our past holds me all of us back to not be able to move forward because it creates fear. And fear, like you said, I really rarely traveled, so I was almost afraid to travel. Okay, so I travel all the time now. I've been, I don't know how many countries in the last decade. I mean, probably 35, a lot. Okay. A lot, a lot, a lot. So it freed me up to be, you know, really much calmer. I could move around easier, much with ease in my life and go where I feel I'm called to be and um, you know, live the life that I guess I'm deserving to have at this time because it's pretty, pretty um amazing for me. And it can be for anyone.

SPEAKER_03

It can be for anyone. Well well, what happened there? Did did uh did you they take you through a guided meditation? Did you take some ayahuasca? I've had people a lot, people come through and take ayahuasca in an ayahuasca thing and they did this or that. What what happened there that you helped you break the chain of that emotional trauma?

SPEAKER_02

Right. So I one, I did not do any plant medicine because that's the whole thing. You go to prayer, you're gonna take ayahuasca. That's really intense plant medicine. There's other things you should probably try before you go to that extent. The what I experienced there was like sitting in ceremony. It's like a prayer. So the shamans are creating a blessing or an offering, and during that time we participate and give our intentions to this, like a flower offering, so to speak. It's full of organic materials that come from grains and the earth and all different elements that have a specific meaning of something in our life. So this blessing is put together and then the the shaman would take it to a fire.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

We couldn't observe it. That because we're now out we're not given permission to absorb that that aspect of that ceremony. So those types of ceremonies can change and shift energies around us, but in other ways, like letting life situations be released, that would be more of a type of uh therapy. And a lot of people go do Reiki, which is light energy work. This is similar, but it's deeper and more powerful. So the shaman is more or less praying over the individual or myself with my intention of what I want to release. So the intention is kind of a prayer. So let's say my prayers ran so to release these issues in my in my life. So there was a lot of personal healing work that was done over that, you know, three to four week period uh while I was there. So that that was the uh the big shift, okay? The ceremony and a personal healing with the shaman.

SPEAKER_03

That's interesting. So uh what so what have you found? Now you're helping people do this as as well now, right? Back here in Okay. Tell us a little bit about that and what's some of your experiences been.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so you know, I've learned a lot. I've received initiations in order to like do the work that I do. I've got a very close family that I work with there, where we're like personal friends. That's kind of shocking that I would have friends in Peru based on where I grew up as a young man, right? So my friend Dean is basically the same age as I am, okay. We're like almost it's just wild, okay? So I've learned a lot from him, right, of how to work with people, let's say in a modern a modern way, right? People in Peru and those indigenous communities don't have stress. They don't have anxiety, they don't have depression, right? They don't have these modern emotions, so to speak, because their world is completely common and different. So they are not living in the same space that we live in.

SPEAKER_03

So a huge No one has no one has these anxiety, depression.

unknown

Really?

SPEAKER_03

No one in the whole chance.

SPEAKER_02

In in those communities, they do not have these modern emotions that are a negative. I it is hard to believe, but they do not have that. I mean, to that extent, they are extremely healthy on top of it. I mean, people in their really rarely even get gray hair. Okay. I mean, even their the 80s or 90s, their hair stays black. So they they live a very healthy, integrated way. You know, they're eating organic foods, so their their food source is is is good for one thing, right? So they don't have any chemicals or pesticides or fertilizers in their food chain. I mean, it does exist in Peru, but does these communities do not live in that kind of uh uh agricultural environment. So um but they do not have those feelings. Even if there's like let's say we got into an argument about something, you know, I have to be right or you gotta be right and somebody's gotta be wrong. So there's always this this conflict. If something there's an issue or something even really unfortunate happens, they don't like argue. They don't fight with each other. It's very calm discussion of finding a solution to resolve whatever is the unpleasantness with it. It's just fascinating. So that's why we're sharing with you. It's just a really peaceful way of life. So integrating, you know, let's say their behaviors or how they communicate with each other is something I've integrated into my life and you know it's uh a beautiful way to be. Wish we all could share and you know, and be open with each other without getting super engaged or polarized.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I find that fascinating that they don't, you know, get upset with each other and get upset with someone not pairing, you know, pulling their share of the load or divorces or those things. That doesn't happen there? It does in Peru.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. You know, there's modern parts. I've never seen it. I've spent I've been going there for you know probably 14 years now. I spent a lot of time with them in their communities or with the family, and they just it is hard to believe, but that does exist. And I'm would not make that up because it's absolutely Okay.

SPEAKER_03

So but they helped you with they helped you on your journey release your anxiety, trauma, whatever. So obviously, there's gotta be some of that around. How did they come to know how to help you if it wasn't happening in their community?

SPEAKER_02

Because it was my intention. My intention was to release it. I want this because it would be more like clearing the event. What happened? What why did this accident occur? Why did this person say such a harsh thing to me and made me feel a certain way or changed my my out like how the outcome of the the the like the trauma or abuse? So it's getting to like the root of what the issue was. And let's say that it is healed. It's like calm. It's like going back in time and changing that event in a way that it wasn't harmful for me. We can't erase the event, it did occur. We can't say that didn't, it's the factual, but it's the releasing of the trauma, the energy around that is what's moved. So you're right. It does seem hard to believe if they don't have these issues, how could they help you clear them? But that's how it works. It's relieving whatever that harsh energy is around that that makes us feel a certain way is cleared.

SPEAKER_03

So just without a question about their community. Do they drink? Do they have alcohol, drugs? Do they have any of those issues? Is that something that they partake in? Do you drink a lot of wine? Do they grow I what's that like?

SPEAKER_02

It does exist, okay, but let's put it this way. In the actual communities of the these five annexes, that isn't something that is really prevalent, okay? There's no drug use, there's no modern recreational drug use whatsoever. If they were to be introduced into like Wachima, which would be a light cactus or the uh the heavier medicine to ayahuasca, it's done as a ceremony, okay? It's done as a way of healing and intentional. It's not like we abuse drugs here in the Western world of taking something to have a hallucination or or elevate our mood and just push things aside. So if there is that, it's done as a sacred ancient way of healing. So it's not not an abusive type of thing. If they do drink wine, isn't really a thing that's produced in these communities, but they would ferment some corn. It goes back to the the Incas, and that's called chicha. So there's a red corn, purple corn, and there's a white corn. So it'd be like our Chardonnay and uh, you know, Cabernet. Okay, so if we're looking at wines, it would kind of look like that, but it's very lightly fermented. So there there is that, but it's it's never abused in in that way that I've seen. Now, some people do lose their way, right? So there are communities outside of these annexes, so to speak, where people kind of let's say, like you can say we left the church, we've lost our way, we moved on to something else, and what now we're around people that aren't healthy and do have these more issues because they're working in like the modern, more modern society or communities. So then they have the more modern things of like we do, of alcohol abuse. I don't really see drug use, but there are places in Peru that are, you know, trafficking drug, without a doubt. I mean, it's there are there is drug trafficking through there, but w the work that I do or the places I would be in the Sacred Valley or the Macha Picchu or the High Andes, that doesn't exist at all. So there are places that thrive in in balance. I mean, it's just their way of life, without a doubt.

SPEAKER_03

Why? Yeah, why do some people feel still stuck after years of doing talk therapy or or different things or taking medication? What's happening there? What and what what do you do? What can you help do to help people get through that? I mean, we have our stressful jobs, we got deadlines. Do you find it's just the stress, or is there an emotional component that happened years ago, or can it be both? It it's both.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, talk therapy is great to some extent. You know, we you've you've talked about people who have been in talk therapy for decades. I've worked with people in talk therapy for decades, you know, how people can talk and ruminate about the same story, the same thing. You know, there's ways of coping, understanding, and rationalizing, but that really doesn't eliminate why they're feeling that way. So getting to the root of it is kind of like what I do is what happened for me is being in the same space and learning how to move this, this trauma, like the root of why they feel that way. Okay. There is usually something in our past that has evolved to the point of where we have really unhealthy patterns or behavior. People have multiple marriage, they keep finding the same wrong person over and over and over again, right? For some, for some, right? Our others are living with, you know, really a heavy narcissist type of personality, and they're pushed down and they tolerate and they just become like a shadow of themselves. But chances are somewhere in their life they were made to be diminished and feel so that being with that tiny but toxic person is familiar to them and they know it, even though they know it's that healthy, but they understand it and they deal with it, but that's not be a healthy way for us to live, right? So when people get to a point where I just can't tolerate this anymore because the pharmacology's not working for me at all. I mean, you've had bad side effects or it's just not work, period. You know, then people start looking for alternative ways of of being happy and healthy and finding their their way back to their their true self without reliving the past or having th triggers that stop us from trying something new or going someplace new or even having a new idea or being open to a conversation about something new instead of like black and white living in a small box or container because it feels safe. But as things can grow and grow and grow, that like that container around us can get smaller and smaller, and then we don't have this vibrant life that we're, you know, would all deserve, right? Or should have, right? Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So what do you say someone who doesn't they know they're doing something wrong, they're stressed, they've got they're on their second marriage, but there's something deep, deep there. What what do you do to help those people? And and what would you say to someone that's still kind of going in that I call it the the repeating circle, if you will, of life?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the repeating circle, right? So, you know, just to describe a session, I guess that's probably the easiest way to to describe it to you is you know, if someone's finding me on my website, there's always a way to free call. I offer a free call to anyone to see if that's something they're open to. Am I a good match? Are they a good match for me? Is it is it something that we feel they could work together on? So at the time we would start, you know, I'm gonna sit and listen to someone talk. If they could unpack their whole life story, it could be 20 minutes, it could be an hour, it could be whatever, right? What what's going on? And during that time I just really listen to what they're sharing. I don't give much feedback or you know, I'll acknowledge when it when it's appropriate. But during that time, I'm like tracking what I might feel is like the root of the issue, right? They might uh get a loty during a conversation or the voice inflection changes. So at those points in times there's something's going on that's meaningful with the words that they're sharing with me. Okay. So when we begin a session, you know, uh like every indigenous culture does, they open up a sacred space. It's like uh going into a sanctuary of sorts, right? So we connect with the four directions, we connect with Mother Earth, we connect with universal energies, you know, Father Sky is the Native Americans refer to it as. So we create this container to heal in. So it's a place there's no judgment, there's no uh, what can I say, uh, projections onto them. It's just a place of being open to release whatever, whatever it is. So in that place it feels really calm and safe or uh in that way, you know, they're what they're holding is being released through a way that I can help them do that, right? So with the initiations that I've received, I'll let's just say it's like very clairvoyant. So I can see the event and help them move it and clear it. So they're participating. There's not how I work with someone is not very mysterious in that way. So they're they're everything's done with permission on how do you feel like you're ready to let this go today? Is this the time now? Those are the kind of questions. And it's always, yes, please, let's let's clear this. So in that time, that's when these these this trauma is like released or moved or cleared, so to speak. And when we're complete, we kind of do a recap. Maybe there's some guidance to share of how they could uh continue to work with it. Maybe it's an honoring, right? Maybe it's a letting go in in a certain way or a way of celebrating it, whatever the issue might be.

SPEAKER_03

Nothing is more exciting than seeing a client shed their diseases and symptoms caused from accumulated toxins from the chemicals in our foods, the clothes we wear, and the air we breathe, than by cleansing through colon hydrotherapy and treating the whole body naturally. Here's what a few clients had to say about their experience at Living Waters Wellness Center.

SPEAKER_00

Hi, I'm Merk Murdoch, and after my 10-day class, uh, here's what I could tell you is much better. My eyes are quiet, I can see better, uh, my mind's clearer, I can think better, my body feels much uh different than what it did before. It's more active, and I'm full of energy. Uh, something I wasn't when I first got here. So it's made a remarkable difference from that all the way to my joints. So uh yes, it's been a great 10-day cleanse. Thanks. Thank you, Living Waters.

SPEAKER_02

So that uh the personal work work is is is really key on the takeaway of finishing what doesn't feel right for them and now it turns into something beautiful and they can be calm, they sleep better, um, they're moving forward in life. People have just had just like night and day shifts. It's just unreal to see how people can shift when they really want to not be stuck anymore.

SPEAKER_03

How do they reach out to you, John?

SPEAKER_02

They'll find me uh on my website at shamanic trucker.com. So on my website, there's plenty of places to find a discovery call to contact me. And we set up a call or some people email me, my email information's on there, my phone number's on there, they can text me. So there's a lot of ways to reach out if somebody wants some help.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. And we'll put it in the show notes. If you listen on the radio and KIO talk really, we'll put it on the show notes on the whole body top show. So let me ask you this. So, what kind of healing approaches can help people that divorce, that grieve, or or or maybe they just don't know what happened? You know, maybe as well happening. Yeah, it it's it can one year old, three years old.

SPEAKER_02

What happened? Yeah. Right. It it it can't. Some people do have recall to that point. All right. They've had if you ever sense something happened, more than likely it did happen. Okay. You can't make some of this stuff up. If you feel how you feel, uh, some of it is very much childhood issues for those that are older, like divorce or career shifts or loss of employment and they lost their identity. You know, that's a little bit different to to work with, but yet it's all kind of the same because it's the attention. I don't want to feel this way anymore. This just has to go. I can't feel this way anymore. I gotta let go of these harsh feelings. I don't want to walk around angry anymore. I want to quit hating this person. So a lot of it is in a simple way, is like a mindset for lack of a better word, the choice of languaging that they use, the self-talk, right? Circular conversations that go on. And I will just say that's kind of a psychic attack on ourselves, those words that that have come in now because we hold and we just beat ourselves up for lack of a better, a better way of stating that. Um those are the type of things that I help people release and move, but it's different for each person because we're I'm not you, you're not me. We're similar, but not the same, so it's gonna be different for e each person, so to speak. It's very personal, personal deep work, I would say. And I I treat it as such.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Well, that's interesting. You know, I had a guy come through our 10-day retreat um a year ago, and he'd been doing he said to me, He says, David, I feel so free. He says, I've been doing rehashing my life in Kuwait. I think he did I don't know how many tours in Kuwait back in the first Gulf War stuff, and he saw some really horrific stuff. And he says, David, I was just reliving it every day. And they kept expecting me to get better. That's crazy. He said, and so I took him through a process and he got to let go of that. He he was just the most excited person I've ever seen. I don't know why more people, you know, why we think we gotta keep rehash and you know, if we're open to change, if we're open, like you mentioned the word intention, I love that word. If we're open to tension, look at this crap's gotta go. I don't know what it is. Okay, so I had the divorce when I was, you know, 22, or he was a bad husband to me, or my I got abused by a boyfriend, or whatever it was. You know, maybe the teacher told me that I was a well they told me me, my teachers told me I was gonna be one of those I was in sixth grade. You're gonna be one of those hippie burning flag burning people and meah, it's you I'm a six I'm I'm what 12 years old or something, and she had labeled me with but me and my friend Butch were we're kind of honry. We were always but I just found that, you know, you know, some some of us have hung on to those words or toll. I had a basketball coach that told me I was an idiot over and over and over and over and over and over and over. And uh, you know, I finally got to let go of that stuff. But we have these things. My wife calls it the stuffy stuff of life. And I just find that, you know, mo a lot of people mask it with drugs. I've never went that route. I don't drink. Used to years ago, but it wasn't because of anything. Anyway, my point is is that it's it's there's a lot of ways to get to that inner core and let that go, but we we usually need a little help to get there. And what you discovered, what I'm hearing you say, you went down. Now we don't all have to go to Peru, right? We can no, you don't. Yeah. I'm the extreme case. I'm extreme case. You went there because you had to go there. It was like an awakening for you, getting out of the Midwest, the banking community. This is David's summing up what I hear you saying today. But getting deep in that core, because what I've learned over the years is if you don't heal that stuff, it's good, it can become a cancer, it can become I don't know, the Parkinson's arthritis. I mean, there's always a relate with the breast cancer. I mean, I've seen people that, you know, having a devil of a time with their mother. They got breast cancer, you know, energetically, that's left side is female energy, and they've got a big old tumor on their left breast, and they're like, you know, you gotta figure out how to let this go. And and and so I see that. It's kind of cool that you figured out this process for you, and now you're sharing it with others, and you've got another way to get people there. I guess that's my point.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, absolutely. What you're speaking to is exactly how it works. It's that energetic component that someone's holding on to that can really can turn into the cancers, can turn into something unhealthy for them, right? The things that doctors can't even explain why it's there. So when someone is tired or just fed up with any kind of Western medicine, so to speak, because it's not working for them, there is no help for them at all, this is the type of work that can help them dramatically, especially on the emotional component. And I've worked with a number of veterans. So going back and like revisiting those events, so to speak, the person's not gonna relive the event, but we can be in a place that I can feel it with them, so to speak, and release what it is and kind of talking through it. But there it's how the energy is released is different for each person. So I'm not gonna get into how I teach or do the work. That would be way too unwell for something like this. But those individuals have huge shifts. Huge shifts. You know, you shared some story of what your protocol does for people. I've had similar experiences, equally as phenomenal as that. So when things occur to us, you know, we can't say how did that happen, or oh my gosh, I'm so surprised. Well, we shouldn't be because that's our intention to heal and clear it. So why why wouldn't it occur? That's why you're here for it to happen. So it does happen. I mean, it just does. It's different for each person, but the shifts do occur, and it is our intention. It is very, very strong to heal.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I kind of call it the synchronicities of life. Don't we have to all kind of go through I I just think if we're uh us souls come to earth to experience, you know, a spiritual, you know, improve our sp our our way spiritually. And so some of us have to go and and and have these events occur in our lives for us to grow, is been my you know, 68 years old trying to figure that out. Uh when I had found out I had cancer at age 46, the the the guy ended up hiring as a coach, he looked at me and goes, Well, why did you create this? I went, huh? I created this, huh? And then he asked me if I wanted to live or if I wanted to die. Right. I've had to ask some clients here that. I mean, I've had I get we see a lot of really, really sick people, and I think it's a really good question to really look in the mirror and say, you know, what's next for me? Am I gonna stay, you know, still reliving this trauma forever and still have my story and the blame story and keep, you know, it's the other person's. Fall, are we gonna look in the mirror and decide deeply, let's let go? Correct. I'll I'll share a little story about myself.

SPEAKER_02

Same thing, okay? So I had a severe retina detachment. Okay. Severe. Wow. In Colorado vacation cycling, you know, out in the blue sky, stopped my bike, took a break, and all of a sudden I looked like these black crows were on me. It's like there were, you know, clothes. There's no crows. Okay, I better go. The doctor writes, what's going on? Because I never experienced anything like that before. Got really poor medical diagnosis at first. Found my way to a retina specialist and he said, You need immediate surgery, but I couldn't get to the doctor quick enough, surgeon quick enough because I was in the high mountains in Colorado. By the time I got there, they said, You're going to be blind. You'll never see again. It's like, that's not for me. So, you know, I found a good surgeon. We repaired it because that sec first surgeon wasn't for me. But the point was, it's like, what was I blind to? It was like, you're what was I blind to in my life? Yeah. Massive wake-up call. Oh my God. I didn't want to take that on. It's like, I'm not responsible for for this medical thing. Yeah. But, you know, I go, I started early about all this stuff I pushed down, right? Forget about. Regress, put aside, buried away, forget about it, you know, even though it's still around limiting me, and I didn't really, it was. So that that medical emergency was the wake-up call for me, okay, to shift my life. Okay. I woke up because I never traveled. I thought, if I can't see, how am I gonna go see Europe? Like, you know, how gonna get on the train or walk down the street? Why would even go, right? At least at how I thought the world worked at that time. If I can't see, why bother? So it it totally upended my life, right? I couldn't use a computer, couldn't do spreadsheets, I couldn't work anymore. It's like it just stopped everything. So through some surgery work, Western medicine helped, and then I did a lot of energy work on my eye sight, right? With, you know, the the chauvin's, right? This type of energy work, my eyesight is pretty, pretty good. Okay. Not anywhere close to where being blind or how I couldn't see for over a year on my right eye. So that's it does occur because our thoughts can create a reality, right? Big time. We get in that deep.

SPEAKER_03

I love it so much. It's some of the coolest stuff. I mean, I read everything about that molecules of emotion, the healing codes, all these things. What I find fascinating, I just read that not too long ago, they took uh I think they put people in a MRI machine, and then they got some uh some healers, some energy workers in another room. And they got a placebo group who had no idea what energy healing was in another room. And then they compared the two room that they had a time span of watching what was going on in the body, and the people who were energy healers sending energy remotely into that person in the MRI machine, they had changes, molecular changes in the body. And the people who had no idea how that all worked, there was no change. Which and on our 10-day, I actually have a video, it's really a good video. And I and I talk about how powerful our minds are. Scientists have proven that we can set a thought by as measured by like a radio station, so a 50,000 watt radio station could go once around the world, right? That much freak, that much energy. Your thoughts can go 500 times that and beyond it. The scientists that did the study, it was the meter was beeping, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, going, wanting to go beyond that when they were in communication and prayer with God. When they had, when they were when they had a person that was a negative, cussing, yelling, screaming, very negative, it was a negative energy going opposite 500 times. And the scientist who did this study, who wrote this in the book, I think it's Feelings Buried Alive, Never Died by Karen Truman. But anyway, he wrote that. He wrote, he says, you know, I was an agnostic, you know, I, yeah, maybe there's a God, maybe there's not. That really wasn't my stick, my world, whatever. But in that moment, this gal was praying to God, Jesus. She was dying, and she's praying to the God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and that meter was going off 500 times. I mean, it was pegging out when she was in communication with the Holy Spirit. And when the other guy, who was the demented person who was, you know, not a very good guy, he had a social disease, not a good guy. He started yelling, cussing at the nurse, and it went the other way. So, what that says to us all is that you know, our thoughts can change the molecules in our bodies. We're 50 trillion cells, and we can change that. And what's really cool about what you're doing and helping people do it is get to that, and we we all have different mirrors we got to look into to realize, oh my God, what am I? You had yours, I've had mine, mine was cancer, that was a wake up call, that was anger. Had a cancer in my liver. You know, that's all about anger. So it's interesting how we get to how that come forth and teach us a lesson or kill us.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly.

SPEAKER_03

Right? Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. So we could choose to be, let's put it this way. We could like some people that's it's fate. This happened to me. I lost my eyesight, I can't do anymore, I gotta quit, I gotta get on some unemployment or long-term disability, and I'm just defined and I'm gonna sit at home the rest of my life, right? Or make a choice of like, this is not for me. And it's more of like going into our place of like our destiny, so to speak, or life purpose. So, you know, to be in that place of like looking forward, this happened to me. Let's be honest with what it is and find a way to to clear that so that we can be happy and healthy and vibrant. I mean, look what look at the work you're doing, look at what you've created. I mean, it's amazing how you bring people back to health and life and being vibrant, right? When they feel like they couldn't even possess that at one point in time.

SPEAKER_03

Well, as you know, we're in an economy in a world, you know, we've got a genocide going on, we've got all these things. I truly believe that as a those of us, we can actually change that emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, we can change what's going on around us. We just gotta not get caught up in the everyday angst of, you know, diesel prices are 650 and we got a war going on, and you know, it's just negative, negative, negative, negative all day long. But I've always thought that if we're gonna change this, we've got to change it spiritually, and we've got to do it mentally and emotionally at the same time in order for the world to heal. And we've got a lot of very, very stuck people. So I love what you're doing. I love that you're you know helping people get to that point. And I think we all we all need a little help. We all need a coach. Michael Jordan had a coach for basketball. We all need coaches, and there's more than one way to get there. And I I've never thought that chemicals ever helped anybody. I voiced out that you know, when they finally deeply get in touch, and what you experienced on your little mission going down there is you saw a whole different way that just kind of like probably just woke you up and said, Whoa, there's there's a whole different way to approach this and let this go. That's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it has been. It absolutely has been. And you're right about the world around us, right? We can't get caught up. We can watch the news and be aware of it, but we to be really engaged in it or have such a uh a drama that comes from the news that we hold and we can't sleep because it creates worry is just not a place to be. I mean, we're roughly about the same age, right? Look what's going on with our lives in the 60s, the 70s, 80s, 90s, the 2000s. I mean, every every decade it's something, right? So of course it's gonna be something else now. I mean, it it just is. It's just things feel a lot more divisive or um harder to solve, but that's just our life's journey. So not participating in that in a deep way is uh really helpful for us. It's like what's our what's our family important, right? Our family around us, our community around us. That's what that's where we can start to make changes, you know.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. In some cases, it's perfectly okay. I found you just gotta let go of some of those people around you, they're the negative people that have still got their stories. And maybe it's family, maybe it was a best friend. Right? You know what? It's time to stop and go down a new path. I mean, that's what happened to me years ago. I went down a different path, and I thought, you know what, I'm gonna walk on a different journey. I'm gonna figure this out, and I'm open to all options, and I'll try anything and experiment. And thankfully I did, or I probably wouldn't be living here on earth. So I think that's what's wonderful. The other thing, too, we've talked about in the show a lot is and and and this is really big too, I believe, is that you know, physically with these parasites within us, you know, parasites from the foods we eat and we pick up, and if we have a negative demeanor and we our stuff our acids are are low and our pH is off, you know, that contributes to it. And so you've got that energy, those energy beings. And so you we all need the help. We all need the help to say, you know, how can we change this? And and what is what did you have a little tool that you could give someone, say, hey, go go go do this for the next seven days, try this out and and and uh see what happens. Well, it's different for each person, right? Okay.

SPEAKER_02

You spoke to the spot here. You spoke to the parasites, you know, that's some nasty stuff. I mean, that is energy with that, and that is really invasive, especially with a diminished healthy system for sure. It's uh really awful to go through. A suggestion, do you know? I would just do the easiest way this we're talking about is just be mindful of what our thoughts are. Okay, what are we thinking about really? It it all shifts with our mindset that what has happened to us in the past doesn't have to hold us back. We don't have to live this way. So just look at a maybe one or two issues that we have and look, how could we flip the switch on the perception of that? How did that define us? And just shift the languaging around our thoughts about it. It could be as simple as affirmations. That can shift it for some, prayer for others, just being mindful, breath work, try something simple. I mean, there's many, many places to do to do breath work, to shift ourselves. Some it's others to do a yoga practice or qigong, anything that we can do to raise like our vibration in our body or increase our chi, the prana, like the energy that we we all hold. Some of us aren't aware of what that is, but it's a great place to start just to see how those small practices can make a shift for us.

SPEAKER_03

I think it's important. I learned, you know, in my years growing up, I played a lot of sports, coached a lot of sports, uh, and saw this happen in real time with the people I coached. And then I followed all the great athletes like Larry Byrd, Michael Jordan, Ronald Pummel. And what I always noticed, they said it wasn't their physical game was off, it was always their mental game. And what I learned from this from sporting life was that if you're a lot of ones mentioned, I wasn't feeling it tonight. So if you and I what I've experienced here, when you are sick, you know, it's hard to feel good, right? You want to feel good, but you're like, oh my God. And if you're feeling you got anxiety or depression because of somebody who did something to you is, well, what's the thought and what's the feeling of the opposite? If you keep ruminating in the old feeling, you're gonna keep getting the same old feeling. What if you can imagine and visualize and feel something different and work towards that end and cut? My favorite word is cancel, cancel, cancel, change the emotion and change it in that moment because we do get caught up in, oh my gosh, got that sciatica flaring up again. Or what would it feel like to and if you keep changing those emotions, they've proven how much we mentioned earlier that's changing in our in our in our tissues. It's amazing what we have power to do. And if if you believe, if you believe in God at all, and if God is within us, which is what I believe, then okay, he's got the power, then let's tap into it. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

Beautifully stated, you know. Someone shared with me, you know, a negative thought comes up, something comes out of your mouth, and you realize I shouldn't have said that, perhaps, or that's really judgment about myself or someone else. Just say, you know, edit, delete, cancel, delete. Just stop that thought and take it back because we don't want that out there, right? It's it's if we're in that negative mind frame, right? It's a it's a bad place to be. There nothing will good will come from that. All do is attract more negativity around our life. But when we are feeling off, right, it is a bit hard to have a positive thought, but it is uncomfortable. The change is uncomfortable. So do your best to bring it something positive. Maybe it's a shift, maybe you just go outside for a walk, you shift your environment. You know, you move wherever you're at. Do something out of the ordinary for yourself. Uh, and that could even create the shift. It's just taking a small effort, right? That little, little bit to just make it could make a significant shift, you know, just start to moving forward. I mean, your show is full of wonderful re resources, without a doubt, exploring alternative things. And that's why I do these discovery calls, anyone that's interested in, because it's can be a really profound shift for some. Some people I have a conversation with, and that's all they needed. They don't even do a session with me. It's like, why didn't you why didn't you do something? He said your conversation is all I needed to hear. So it's it can be as simple as a conversation with someone that you trust and share something that's holding you back. Sometimes just letting it go verbally to someone that you feel safe with.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. It's amazing how much power is around us. We've had other guests on the show who've talked in this this arena. And it's just interesting how we all get, you know, to the where we need to get using these tools that are out there, but they really you know they've kind of been the hidden. They've kind of been hidden, if you will. You don't walk into an office and expect to get, well, here, change your thoughts. Here, here's a drug. So, hey, John, how do they get a hold of you again? What's your website?

SPEAKER_02

Well, it's called shamanic trucker.com. All right. So and on there they can look up uh on there, so there's a resource page of sorts, all right. So it's called Natural Trauma Release Method.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So download a module, right? It's a printable book. Or if they don't want to do that, it's there's five audio courses that they can listen to. It's probably 60 to 90 minutes combined. So it's just prompts. So it's a way of like understanding ourselves, maybe no answers to it, but it's again those small steps of listening to something that could help someone take an uh the first step forward to a big shift in their life. It's uh self-guided and it's a pretty powerful tool.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Shamanictrekker.com. I've also found your your uh part of your documentary, some shorts over on uh YouTube. So you might want to check out John's work over there as well. Excellent. Any last thoughts, my friend? A last thought.

SPEAKER_02

Uh well, you know, it's never too late to start to change. Never too late. Never too late. Never. So think as big, as bold as possible that you can, and why not, you know? Why can't that happen?

SPEAKER_03

Thanks for being on. I'm David De Haas from LivingWatersClans.com on the whole by D Top show. Till next week. Have a blessed week, my friends.
