287. How HabitCure Combines Wearable Data to Predict Potential Health Events | Rick Duchin

287. How HabitCure Combines Wearable Data to Predict Potential Health Events | Rick Duchin

Key Takeaways

  • Rick Duchin founded HabitCure to shift healthcare from a reactive model to a proactive one by continuously monitoring personal biosignals rather than waiting for medical emergencies.
  • HabitCure aggregates data from popular wearables—such as heart rate, HRV, sleep quality, oxygen, and glucose—to establish a unique personal baseline for each user.
  • The platform looks for meaningful divergences from an individual's personal baseline over a three-day period, alerting users and their designated 'Circle of Care' before a potential health event occurs.
  • Features like the 'Walking Lab' allow users to track how specific meals and foods impact their body's real-time physical responses.
  • HabitCure is currently free for users who join during its beta phase on habitcure.com, with a low-cost subscription model planned for the future.

Rick Duchin, Founder & CEO of HabitCure, explains how wearable health data and personal biosignals can help people understand changes in their health before they become major problems.

As the founder of HabitCure, Rick Duchin is developing a digital health platform designed to continuously analyze signals such as heart rate, HRV, sleep, glucose, blood pressure, and recovery against an individual's personal baseline. Rather than relying only on occasional doctor visits or population averages, HabitCure focuses on identifying meaningful changes in a person's own health patterns and helping them become more proactive about their health.

IN THIS EPISODE YOU'LL LEARN:

  • How wearable devices can work together to create a personalized picture of your health
  • Why establishing your personal health baseline can help identify meaningful changes over time
  • How HabitCure uses signals such as HRV, heart rate, sleep, glucose, and recovery to monitor health patterns
  • How the platform's "Walking Lab" can help users compare their body's response to different foods and meals
  • How HabitCure's Circle of Care can allow family members or caregivers to receive health-status alerts while the user maintains control of their data
  • Why continuous health monitoring could help shift healthcare from a reactive model toward a more proactive approach

SPEAKER_02

I just want to explain what the radio listeners are look we're looking at here. So he's got his smartphone and then he's got a a number with a kind of a half circle around it. So it's giving him some data from these wearables. Accurate description.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. So this is Havoc Here. And the top is a number from zero to a thousand. And most people in their daily life without any issues are going to be somewhere around 900. And then if I push on it, there's the number again. And here's all the signals going down the list of all the things that make up what I'm tracking.

SPEAKER_02

And what are some of those that you track?

SPEAKER_03

So just kind of heart rate, HRV, which is the time between your heart rates and an electronic. It's a different type of signal. It's a very important signal, probably one of the most important signals that your body gives out all the time. Tracks your sleep, it's tracking your recovery rate, your oxygen rate. It'll your my glucose is being tracked. There's a lot of stuff. It's consistent. So the idea is to create an actual baseline. So here you see I have the things I'm interested in, is my heart. So I opened up the thing and posted it there so I can always see where my heart rate is and what my HRV is. Uh the next down is glucose. I'm always looking at my glucose. It's a great number to see if I ate something. So my blood sugar would spike if I got sugar in a meal that I wasn't expecting. So if you go out to eat a lot, a lot of times they put sugar in the food, then I find out about it. So now I order differently for that. And the bottom one you see is a baseline. That's my personal baseline. And if I touch that one, those are all the signals making up my baselines. And so what Habitare does is it's looking at this baseline and it's trying to say, okay, well, this is Rick's signals. This is what's happening on a consistent basis. And it's looking for divergence off of that baseline.

And today on the Whole By D Talk Show, my guest is Rich Duchin, who has a product called Habit Cure. He's going to give you a device, a way to connect. Well, I didn't tell it better, the way I understand it, so that you can predict what's going to happen to you regarding your health. Is that a fairly bad description or a good description?

SPEAKER_03

It's kind of an interesting description. Let me back that up.

SPEAKER_02

Well, go ahead and tell us what you do, Rich. Rich just reached out to me yesterday, so this is an impromptu get together, but it's because it's fascinating. And I'm the curious cat. So go ahead and tell us a little bit about yourself and your company.

SPEAKER_03

All right. So this started a long time ago, and I watched my grandmother die, and she had 25 prescription drugs sitting on a counter, and she um took them all religiously, and every 90 days was with the doctor, and none of that helped her. She died. And following that one, I was with somebody that also found out they had cancer, and they got the 25 pills, they took them at religion, went to the doctor, and and she died. And so at this place, I was a very young child. I was under 11, but it made a huge impact on me regarding our health care system. So a bunch of years go by, and I have a doctor's appointment, and I walk into my doctor, and without him even looking at a screen, he just says to me, You're type two diabetes. And I was like, wait a minute. It takes years to become a diabetic. It doesn't take yesterday. So did you know that I was pre-diabetic and you just decided not to tell me? This is what I'm telling you, and this is what you have, and this is what you have to deal with now. You should start taking insulin as fast as you can. And I said, I just want you to hear this. I'm not taking insulin. If my habits got me here, my habits will get me out of here. And I walked out of his office, got in my truck, and just started crying. Like I just had a child, and I'm like, I'm just imagining myself like relatives, and that wasn't going to be a lot of life. So everything that was in front of me, I started changing. I went through my refrigerator, I rearranged everything on it. I put all the stuff that was in the bottom of the refrigerator, the fruits and the vegetables, I put them on the top shelf. All the cokes and ice cream and all that got labels on them and said, Don't touch Rick, they're not for you. And then around the coffee pot, drink a glass of water with salt in it before you touch any coffee and put it in your system. And all these rules were posted everywhere. My wife thought I was a lunatic, like really super crazy. And what happened was I had an A1C of over eleven, and my next appointment was 90 days out. When I got to the doctor and they took my blood, my A1C dropped down to uh 6.2. So habits are real. Yeah, they sure are. And they actually do change your life if you have the right habits. If you have the wrong ones, how do you know? How do you know what's happening? So what they handed me was a pamphlet and a good luck. And for 20 years I've been thinking about, you know, people walk out of the hospital or walk out of their doctor's offices, and they don't have an they don't know what they had when they walked in, and they don't know how to treat it when they walk out. The doctor's not helping because it's a reactive healthcare system we have, and what they do is where the hospital makes the most amount of money is when you walk in with the help of an ambulance. And they're not gonna help you until something shows up. But everything that shows up heart attack, type 2 diabetes, septus, and I can keep naming things, they show up weeks ahead of it or years ahead of it, but nobody's listening and nobody's watching. They don't track your heart rate, they don't track your HRV, they don't track your sleep quality, they don't ask you what you eat, they don't check how much you eat, they don't watch your weight, they don't look at your face, they don't look at anything. All they care about is that you show up having a heart attack, having type 2 diabetes, and at that point is when they start making the most amount of money. That's the reactive healthcare system. So I started looking at all these CGMs that everybody's wearing, wearable. Okay. CGM is the thing on your arm, looks like like that. That measures your glucose. This measures your sleep, your heart rate, your HRV, your recovery. That's an aura ring. I don't have my recovery, like uh you go on a run, how fast does it take you to recover from that run to get back to your same thing?

SPEAKER_02

So we're on the radio, KIDO Talk Radio. So that that that's a ring is an aura ring. Is that what you'd say that is?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, aura ring does that. And you're, you know, if you have an ISO watch on uh that has a health thing, does a lot of different things in there? Google has their watch. There's a lot of Android watches that do it. All those are trackable things, they all have information. And what Habacare does is read them all. So we're looking at all the signals, all these things coming together. And so what we decided was what does that mean? You know, how does it look? What does it look like? So this is Habakare. And the top is a number from zero to a thousand. And most people in their daily life without any issues are going to be somewhere around 900. Now, a professional.

SPEAKER_02

I want to explain. I just want to explain what the radio listeners are we're looking at here. So he's got his smartphone, and then he's got a number with a kind of a half circle around it. So it's giving him some data from these wearables. Is that the accurate description?

SPEAKER_03

Yes, exactly. And then if I push on it, there's the number again, and here's all the signals going down the list of all the things that make up what I'm tracking. There's 12 of them I'm tracking right now.

SPEAKER_02

And what are some of those that you track?

SPEAKER_03

So just kind of heart rate, HRV, which is the time between your heart rates and an electronic. It's a it's a different type of signal. It's a very important signal, probably one of the most important signals that your body gives out all the time. Tracks your sleep, it's tracking your recovery rate, your oxygen rate. It'll my glucose is being tracked. There's a lot of stuff. It's consistent. So the idea is to create an actual baseline. So here you see I have the things I'm interested in, is my heart. So I I opened up the thing and posted it there so I can always see where my heart rate is and what my HRB is. Uh the next down is glucose. I'm always looking at my glucose, it's a great number to see if I ate something, so my blood sugar would spike if I got sugar in a meal that I wasn't expecting. So if you go out to eat a lot, a lot of times they put sugar in the food, then I find out about it. So now I order differently for that. And the bottom one you see is a baseline. That's my personal baseline. And if I touch that one, those are all the signals making up my baseline. So it's my baseline, it belongs to me. And so what habit care does is it's looking at this baseline and it's trying to say, okay, well, this is Rick's signals. This is what's happening on a consistent basis, and it's looking for divergent off of that baseline. So if my heart rate diverged 3% and my resting heart rate was 50, we're looking at that if my heart rate would go up to fit, let's say it went to 53 and it stayed there for three days. Okay, well, that's significant because things shouldn't change off your baseline. Your baseline should be normal. Well, for after three days, something's showing up. And so we're looking for other things that have done that too. And maybe your HRV went down 3% and held it for three days. So with both of those going on, and then maybe your sleep decided to change, and your sleep went from sleeping eight hours or nine hours, and now all of a sudden you're 20% less. You're on your way to a heart event, and now we're 11 weeks, 11 days out from an event if it is a heart-related thing. But now we can bring things to your attention, and so when we first looked at this, that's green. That means I'm healthy. If that circle turned yellow, that would mean that two signals have diverged off your baseline for over three days and has not gone back, and it could be increasing in that period of time at the same and it would be yellow. That that's like all we're saying is be cautious. If three signals cross over that thing, it turns from yellow to amber, and it says we have enough information that you should go see your doctor, because we're seeing your heart rate elevated, we're seeing your HRV going down, your sleep is not being very good, and and we're you this is a time to react to something that's showing up in your body. If a force signal crosses over, turns from amber to red, and red is where we start helping you because you might not be able to help yourself. You might be somebody that lives alone and not capable of answering the phone or calling 911. So we send out a signal to you to actually look at you to say, hey, we're gonna call 911 and we're gonna do it in 10 seconds, and then we'll count down to 10 seconds. We're sending out beeping sounds and all that. If you're not pressing the button, we're gonna call 911 to get help for you because that that's where you've gone. And so we want to make sure you're taken care of, and it also could be that you're having an an incident in the middle of the night, and we'll try to wake you up to see what's going on. The other thing we did is we always wanted a human involved, and so we have that circle of care. And at yellow, everybody gets a message that you're in yellow, you're you have some things going on. So hopefully one of them will come up to you and say, Hey, what's going on with you? I got a yellow on my phone regarding your health, and then you'll get into a real a conversation with a real person talking to you. So, what are you gonna do? And and then maybe you'll go to the hot doctor, maybe you won't.

SPEAKER_02

So your company will reach out to them with an amber? That'll be somebody from your company then. Does that?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, when it turns amber, we start pushing on you to go to the doctor and you'll get messages from us, text messages, you'll get messages when in the app. If you don't come to the app, we'll start buzzing the app so that you open up the phone and go to your app. We're telling all your circle of care that you know you're now amber, which you should go to the doctor. When it goes to red and we are actually calling 911, we don't tell, we tell people that we've called 911 and we give them the timing when we called and when the when the amulus is gonna arrive.

SPEAKER_02

So you said baseline, your baseline. Did you set that as your goal, or was that where you started? What do you mean by baseline?

SPEAKER_03

Your baseline is so let's just talk about, I'm gonna talk about me. My I have a resting heart rate at 50. My HRV is usually around 36. My sleep quality is eight and a half to nine hours. I recover super fast. The highest I can get my heart with activity is about 138. That's me, you know, and and all these biosignals that are coming from my body and being read gives you your baseline. We're a personalized system. We don't care about a group. If you go to a hospital and you're looking at your A1C at 6.2 or 7, that's a group. You're in a group and they're talking to you like you're a group. They're not mentioning you personally, and that's how hospitals and reactive care work. What we're talking about is a new style where you actually go to your doctor and you show up and you say, These are my signals, look what's going on. What does this mean? And let them tell you. We don't diagnose, we don't do any diagnostic. We're not a doctor. But what we are is we're watching all your biosignals. And when you listen to a lot of stuff like Kyle Bush, a NASCAR driver, was if he, you know, died this within a year, and all the doctors after the case said, Yeah, if we were listening, his body was screaming for help, but we don't listen. That's what doctors were saying. That's what our system does. We listen all the time. We're not on and then nothing. We're when you go to the doctor, you can really think about it this way. You go to the doctor, let's say you go twice a year, you get about 12 minutes per visit. Maybe a little bit more if you ask enough good quality questions and they'll stay there that much longer. But uh the 550,000 minutes in between, nobody's watching you at all.

SPEAKER_04

My name is Sheree Holtz, and I came to Living Waters because I was dealing with fibromyalgia, hip pain, migraine headaches, uh this a strange pain in my ear. And after the 10-day cleanse, all of that is feeling so much better. I'm I'm I feel like I have really seen such a tremendous difference. Inability to sleep, all of those things have been taken care of in this last 10 days, in my experience with Living Waters. Thank you, Living Waters.

SPEAKER_01

My name is Richard. I come to Living Waters because I was low on energy and for my memory, and I've accomplished both. Living Waters did it for me. Thank you, Living Waters.

SPEAKER_03

You're on your own. You don't know what's going to happen. And you know, what our job is, is to give you a warning before it shows up. Like what would you do if you got a warning from an app on your phone? Hey, it looks like you're you're going towards a heart event. You should go to the doctor. What would you do? This is this is what's possible today. Would you go to the doctor? Would you ask some questions? Hey, you know, am I having a heart attack? Put an EKG on me, tell me what's going on, right? And they could tell you a lot more than if you waited for the ambulance to pick you up and take you. If it's in the middle of the night, that's the worst time. If it's during a regular day, you still went through a heart attack. And the idea is not to go through these huge things and be able to be treated before you become a statistic or that your own, you know, paying the hospital outrageous amounts of money to save you. That's the difference.

SPEAKER_02

It won't say uh eat a steak, have some tallow, get off that sugary drink.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. You know, start taking taking yourself serious. But you should have fun with your life at the same time. I'm not trying to give people, you know, worry. The idea is to take the worry out of it. And the the weird part for everything, right? Somebody wears a watch, how many times do they look at that watch on a daily basis? You know, let's say over 10. In a year, how many times have you looked at your health? Yeah. Twice? It should be the other way around. We should be looking at our health every day. And we should look at the watch maybe every six months because the time doesn't really help you do anything.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Well, that's pretty I mean it's true. We have all these wearables now, and people can see what's happening to their glucose pretty quickly and if they want to, and then you know, make decisions. And then like I've been checking I've been trying to get into a ketosis and been checking my blood sugar and my ketones, and uh it's just fascinating. I watch my diet very well, eat only organic, and it's just interesting to see what's happening very quickly. So that's cool that you can do it in real time.

SPEAKER_03

I do it in re I like real time, but I want to compare and contrast yesterday, a week ago, two weeks ago, three weeks ago, and to today. I want to know through your 30 30. Days, you know, guys go through a process in 30 days, women go through a process in 30 days. We just don't know it as much as they do. But our body changes in a 30-day window and it's a fluctuating curve. And every 30 days it repeats itself. So if you're not watching your baseline, what are you watching? If you're looking at it just on a point in time, you're not really finding out a lot about what. You can just compare and contrast to your last reading. That's kind of what the doctor does.

SPEAKER_02

You know what I would love to see, Rick? What I'd love to see is that you eat a piece of bread down at your favorite restaurant, right? And it's got glyphosate in it, and then it triggers it says glyphosate warning, glyphosate warning. Well, put that down. And the liver, and the liver screams at you. There's this flashing liver on your screen that says, dang it, what are you doing? And then your colon saying, Dude, you gotta go to the bathroom. You haven't evacuated in two days. What are you thinking? That would be cool, right? If we can get there, right? The microbiome's yelling, oh my gosh, I'm gonna have to put out some runny stuff today. We're completely off. So you're seeing this.

SPEAKER_03

This is called the walking lab. Okay. And so exactly what you were saying. So you go to a restaurant and you want to know if it's good for you or it's not good for you. Yeah. And so you walk in and you start, I'm having dinner. That's your lab that you're doing. This is what I'm eating. And you tell it what to do it, and you tell me in minutes, you can set the time. Was that food good for me or not? Oh, that's cool. And it comes back and it'll read exactly what happened to your oil your signals that's being tracked.

SPEAKER_02

I think our health and human secretary, Robert Kennedy, just stated that he uses something if he goes out. You know, there's a lot of these places that we'll check what's in the restaurant, what's good. There's a company called Seed Oil Scout, and they'll tell you which restaurants in Boise, in my town, for example, or whatever town you're in. If they're using seed oils, if they're using tallow or coconut oil or whatever. So those are that's some pretty good awareness. Or you can check products. There's a scan code you can check. Um, I can't remember what's called, but there's a bunch of different apps that you can scan a label and go, you know, good or bad, and it and it rates it. So that those are kind of cool devices as well. Those are cool. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And so even at this one, this is our food log. So if you're a type 2 diabetic and you're looking at what am I eating? But you don't want to like write down everything. You just take a picture of it. We'll decipher, we decipher exactly what you're eating. We'll give you your calories, your fiber, your protein, all that right off of that. That's pretty cool. Now you can now you can compare this food with the walking lab. And so let's say that you're not feeling good after that meal you just ate. So you enter that into it, and now we're gonna track and wait for you not feeling good at another restaurant or something you ate again, and now we're gonna start finding the foods that you should stay away from.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. That's and then how they cook the foods. Yeah, exactly. This is a true story. This happened to me several years ago. I was in a restaurant and got the vegetarian omelet. Thought great, right? I get it. My head just breaks out in a sweat. I'm sweating profusely. I'm going, what the heck? Did I eat some bacon? Did I eat some pork? And so I'm digging around in my omelet and and I don't see any little bacon bits or any bacon. And I asked the cook, and it dawned on me. I says, the waitress came, I says, You guys are using Teflon pans in that in back in the kitchen, aren't they? She says, I don't know. I said, Go check. Now my sister's embarrassed. She says, Oh, he's a nutcase. Don't listen to him. And she comes back, she says, Yeah, that's we're using Teflon pans. I says, Yeah, throw them all out. I never went back to that restaurant. But, you know, those, that just those, that toxins coming in your body. Of course, I've cleaned my body so much because you know, that's what we do here. We detoxify the body. And years ago, you know, I was I was raised hogs. And if I eat pork at all, I my head will sweat too, because your white blood cells raise up and go catty wampus when you eat uh pork, which is interesting. And of course, pork has parasites, and uh you can't get them out. I know. I raised the, I mean, I saw the parasites in our pigs when I was growing up raising hogs. Uh but anyway, that's just it was just interesting to me how the body will numb you, if you will, as we go in life, building up these toxins from the microplastics, the how the food was cooked, what whether it's seed oils or not, all these things add up, and you can your body kind of numbs it. And I've had people go, well, it doesn't bother me. I go, well, you just don't know it's bothering you until one day you've got a tumor, you've got Parkinson's, you've got whatever you got is going to eventually come into your life because of this slow buildup of toxins. I mean, people don't think about the plastics coming out of uh their coffee cups at the coffee shop, right? They say 25,000 microproducts. Same thing in these aluminum cans, you're getting a little bit of aluminum. And your silverware, I mean, you put it in hot water, you're getting a little bit, just a little bit. Do you know what? You got up over 60 some years? Yeah. The liver's sitting there screaming, going, dang it, I got 500 jobs to do today, and you're sending me these toxins, and now I've got a rabbit and bile, or or or or worse yet, your liver's full, and you've got to find another storage place to put it. So it puts in the subcontainous tissue onto the skin, and then you eventually see some hives and ranches or pimples, and you think, What's wrong with my skin? Well, well, the liver was doing its best job and had to put it someplace, and it's basically giving you a red warning light on the dashboard saying, Hey, stop what you're doing. You know, detoxing put in this stuff. And of course, a slow process. Of course, you go to the dermatologist, they give you a steroid cream, you suppress it, and then you go on to still eating the same crap you haven't learned your lesson. Well I like about what you're doing, you've got all these different things in one little app.

SPEAKER_03

Yep. That's the idea, is like put it all at your fingertips, and as you're using it on a daily basis, it becomes easy.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you just know what to do. How do you get this app? So, how do you is this you got an online website?

SPEAKER_03

Habakkure.com. Go there, you can sign up at the bottom right now, it's beta. So if you went to habitacure.com, you went to the end, it says we're in beta. And if you jump in beta right now, you get it for the rest of your life. You never pay for anything. Wow. Free. What's it cost when they pass beta? Pass beta, it's $5.99. Cup of coffee a month.

SPEAKER_02

Very affordable.

SPEAKER_03

That's the idea. We're not really trying to kill everybody. We're trying to get them to look look at health more than once or twice a year. It's gotta be for your health to be strong, you've got to be involved with your health. You gotta be looking at it, you gotta understand what's going on, and you gotta be able to know who to go to, what to do, and what questions to ask. And that's why we created Habitare. We wanna hold your hand from the moment you walk into the doctor to your next visit and make sure you're asking the right questions, make sure you're getting and receiving the right health care.

SPEAKER_02

So if I'm if I'm taking pictures of everything I eat and all of a sudden I I go from green to amber, will your app say, uh, you know, you probably ought to cut back on the maple bars and the aspartane-laden diet sodas, you know, does it gonna give you that feedback?

SPEAKER_03

But if you're a type two, you if you register, you have to register for a reason, like why are you registering? So if you put in type two diabetes or you put in that you're looking at glucose as a big thing, we're gonna we're gonna help you with your glucose. And to be totally honest there, there's a couple things that you can do today, every day, and change your glucose forever. One of them is walk 10 minutes after every meal. Just before you do anything else, just go walk 10 minutes. You'll take and drop your blood glucose 40 to 70 points just by doing that 10-minute walk. Isn't that wild? That's crazy, right? Like, why isn't everybody walking around?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, why aren't we all getting up and going outside and walking? What do we do after Thanksgiving? We go over the couch and lay down. Oh my god, I'm in a food coma.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And and that whole entire time your glucose is flying. It's just going through the roof, right? Because what's Thanksgiving? Nothing but carbohydrates. It's the worst thing you could be eating on a continuous basis. The second thing you can do is magnesium helps immensely, and most people don't have enough magnesium. And the other one that helps is zinc. Zinc helps diabetics not be so resistant to insulin. But does your doctor ever say this stuff to you? No. They don't want to say that they don't want you better. They they want you to get on insulin. That's whether they make money from you. They don't make money when you can walk in and treat yourself and do things on your own to live a better quality life. That's up to you as an individual.

SPEAKER_02

And there's the tools out there to do it. You know, the emergency, like you say, it's reactive, it's emergency care. Suzanne Summers, I thought, summed it up great in her one of her books. She interviewed five different doctors who are doing cancer totally different. And she asked them the question, why aren't other doctors doing this? And each doctor, not in the same room, independently, said the same thing. He says, because we were brainwashed in med school. And now you see that RFK has went and and got on the uh some of the universities on board that they're being now agreeing to actually teach some nutrition. I think it's 40 hours now and not like a half hour like they did before. So really, you know, you think about it, you're a doctor, you spend a half a million dollars getting your education, you've got a go out and you start your practice, you got the overhead, your insurance costs you ten thousand a month, you got a ten thousand a month student loan payment. You don't have time to do but what you got, the the little funnel that the that the pharmaceutical companies put you down. You're you're really trapped. It's really hard for them to break away. And for example, you know, let's let's go take you in, let's talk for a half hour like I do with all our clients and really dig deep and explain what's going on in the body and uh you know, for a hundred bucks. I mean, that just doesn't that can't happen in their world. I mean, I remember my boyfriend.

SPEAKER_03

Well, just think about just think about what most people are doing right now. Let's talk about I just gotta bring this up. It's just a thing that I think is very interesting. So you walk in and you get insurance. They give you a bill. It's let's just say, I I'm just gonna use a $500. You that's what you're paying for your medical insurance. Okay, that gives you the right to stand in the line. That gives you the right to stand in the line, but you don't know what kind of health care you're gonna get, but you can stand in the line waiting for that health care. You don't know if you're gonna be treated because you don't know if they're gonna cancel and say, no, you can't have that treatment, it's not in your insurance. You finally get to the doctor and they see you, and then they say, Oh, you need to go get these kind of treatments, go get this, go get that, go get this, take these drugs through those. And then you get to the end, you don't even know what it costs until you get your bill that shows up in the mail, but you never got a cost or somebody telling you what it's gonna cost until the end when you've already been treated. What other industry allows you to do that? I wish I could do that. I wish I could do that. Give me a break. I think every person on the planet wishes their business could to do that. The weird part, too, is a lot of you might be thinking that we used to have our predictive healthcare system in the 80s and 90s. It was there. And our Congress decided that doctors should not be able to own a hospital because it was a conflict of interest. So instead of them owning them, these greedy big businesses came in and bought up all the hospitals, made a most of them nonprofit, and the executive suite, they all make like the CEOs of most hospitals are in the $30 to $50 million range per year. Yeah, it's ridiculous. That is beyond ridiculous.

SPEAKER_02

And they're really and their real estate in Boise, Idaho, 80 County, the real estate, all the real estate they own, and a lot of the rent out to other doctors is tax exempt from paying property taxes. So you and I so the citizens here pay for their infrastructure, if you will, and we pay the taxes for them. And yeah, they're not CEO here at St. Liv's, he makes eight million plus bonuses and yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and they keep squeezing the one person you don't want them to be squeezing, your doctor. Yeah. That's where they think all the money's going, but it's actually.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, yeah. I had to go in a while back and it was I timed it. It wasn't I don't know if it was even five minutes, and I thought, you don't even know. Of course, I articulated very quickly what I was there for, but still That's crazy, right? Right. It's pretty ridiculous. It's yeah, if the system's sick, it's not sustainable. And I started talking about this in the 1990s. I said, You'll eventually have an insurance bill that's greater than your mortgage, and everyone looked at me and said, nope, it's coming, my friends.

SPEAKER_03

It's coming, and now they don't care because what do they get? They could drive you to bankruptcy over a medical bill.

SPEAKER_02

My both eyes eventually started watering all the time. And it was making me tired. My eyes were tired, and I felt it switch and it hurt. I couldn't do anything. It was in the middle of the night. It couldn't go anywhere. My eyes were watering and it felt like I had a piece of glass. And I maybe three two-ounce cups of that juice of the G3. And so within a day, it's calmed down. It doesn't hurt. No glass feeling in the eye. And the watering has subsided. Thank you, God.

SPEAKER_03

Why the CEO of that company is making $40 million a year. Tell me how that's another it's beyond maddening. That's our health system. It's got to change. The only people that can change it is all of us. We have to decide that we want our predictive health system, not a reactive one.

SPEAKER_02

Well, and and so this is where you these wearables and your device comes in is that being able to predict it, you can be, and people are getting smarter. I mean, of course, our clients are way ahead of the curve because by the time they come to us, they're paying cash. They have given up on, you know, they've been to about four or five different wherever, and they come to see us, and we're like, we're like the last stop. And but they're they're educated by now. They started trying to figure things out, and things like this, this is an educational piece. And now when you go to there's no reason with all the knowledge, you go to a Fred Meyer's or an Albertson's or any grocery store, that grocery store shouldn't be 120,000 square feet. It should be maybe five, maybe four thousand square feet at max. You go to Japan.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. It's all yeah, it's all crazy.

SPEAKER_02

No, so we have the knowledge, but we're addicted. We no, really, what's the biggest drug? What's the number one drug in this country? Sugar. Yeah, sugar, 350 pounds. Can you believe it?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's crazy. And I don't know, and I removed it from my body a bunch of years ago, and I won't touch anything. In fact, I get really mad. I I tell restaurants, do not put sugar in my food. Like, do not. And I also say, don't put green bell peppers in my food either. I'm not into green bell peppers. That's they picked them before they're right. And they have a really strong oil to them that most people are allergic to. They just don't know it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the the the hidden so anyway, there's a few, we have a couple organic grocery stores here in our area, but what's blows my mind is the lack of organic restaurants in a city our size, in a valley our size, about 800,000 people. I just I don't understand it. My wife and I, we eat out maybe ten times a year. Maybe. Because I know what they're cooking in and they're using all the cheapest stuff. And so my favorite.

SPEAKER_03

One of my favorite restaurants is a Japanese sushi house, and we've been going there for years. And we don't go often because it's pricey and and hard to get to. And so my girlfriend and myself, we ate there, and at the end of it, we both got sick, both of us, simultaneously, like within minutes. And so by the time I got home, I was like, I got food poisoning, and and I could feel it. I'm my body's in shape, it knows what it knows, it knows more than most people. And when we called, they said, No, it's not possible for you to be sick that fast. You must have eaten something else. And I'm like, We both got sick. It's not like it's just what of us. And you can be sick within minutes of a bad restaurant. That is for sure. Your body can do that. But you know, you have to watch, you have to watch everything. It's up to you to watch your own life and choose things wisely around your health because you only have it one time.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. And you know, I just did an episode on assisted living centers and memory care facilities, and the food there is atrocious. And uh I just had a guy on who's he's reversed that. He's down in Phoenix and he's put him on keto diet, organic food. He's got him exercising, doing hyperbaric chamber, all the right stuff. And he's got people actually walking out and walking back into their own home. So it can be done. What I love about your device, and you can get this, guys, at habitcure.com. Free right now if you join the beta, get it on your phone, nothing to lose, and you'll be locked in for life. Uh, tell what question I have. What have you seen? What kind of success stories have you seen or have reported back to you from people having this device in their phone?

SPEAKER_03

First off, we're a zero knowledge company. So I don't if you didn't write to us, we don't know anything. Like it's very clear we we don't track people, we do things for the person, and that's what we do live. We don't have data in our system. In fact, the Supreme Court of our country can come here and give me a subpoena to hand over somebody's data. And I I would look at them and say, I don't have data. I can't give a U. I don't have it. It's not available. They can take my computer, they can go away, they can try to get the data. It's not there. It always lives with the person that's on the system. So that's number one. I think the thing that gets reported to us the most, which is kind of an interesting realm, is caregivers. Caregivers are usually thrown into that position. They don't choose it. And they can have an elderly parent or something, and they could be one of multiple siblings or a single person, and all of a sudden, right around 40 is when they start taking responsibility for their parents. But every time you call your parents and you're asking anything, the the answer is always I'm fine. And it's a cover-up because your parents don't want to burden you with their issues. And so what we're seeing is a lot of people getting their parents on it and using that as a way to monitor their parents where they're not so in their face on a continuous basis. They can become family again rather than a hitting each other, if that makes sense.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's that's so true. That's so true. You don't know. So can so can uh as a as a let's say I'm my mother's caregiver, can I have if she's got these wearables and using it, can I get the data sent to me via email or internet or yeah?

SPEAKER_03

So how it works is uh the cer you'd become part of the circle of care. Uh your mother would be able to say, uh, so the data belongs to her. You can't put her on it and own the data. She puts herself on it. You can stand there while she's doing it. And you you have the right to see she g has a right to give you all the information. You would see everything live, or you would just see the color green, yellow, amber, and red.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. So I get I get so all my uh siblings could get alerts as well if they wanted to. Yep. Yes, exactly. In real time. That's pretty that's pretty awesome.

SPEAKER_03

That's real time. So one person's actually five, six people on our system. Works out really well. And so that's a uh it's it's pure private.

SPEAKER_02

It's uh that is mine to control. I can give it to whoever I want if I'm using it, and I can get those alerts and I can get real time reactions to you know taking the pictures of the food, for example. I can see what that's doing to me in real time, and then I can get those alerts. That's pretty amazing.

SPEAKER_03

And then you can also, when you go to the doctor, you have a doctor handoff. You can just push a button and hand the people your phone, and they can see your baseline, they'll see what what's happening, why you're there, everything. You don't have to walk in there trying to figure out what's going wrong. We'll show you. We'll show the doctor.

SPEAKER_02

Drinking a lot of soda, I see here, and some pizzas, and your A1Cs are up. I think I would cut back on those. There you go.

SPEAKER_03

That's why you might want to keep your food intake away from your doctor, and you just have to push a button, and now they don't see your doc your food. They can see everything else but your food. You can hide hide on our system.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's not magic that we that these bad things happen to us, the heart attacks, the you know, the the diabetes, all that. It's just all because what we're spending money on, and it's it's a the food industry. I remember plainly, I this is etched in my memory forever. It was 1996, I believe, Paul Zane Pilzer, who was a consultant to both the medical cartel and the food companies, right? And at those back in those days, pre-internet, if you will, where kind of the internet was just getting going, they were trying to figure out how to track, you know, who ate the potato chips, right? They knew if they could market, remarket to those people that 80% of their buyers were these 20% of the these people, right? They could re-market it. He says, Of course, that's making them sick. And he says, now they're gonna blend over in the medical world. And he said, I kid you not, he says, you know, you think like they're caught kind of all in it on it together. Because that's creating another reference new stream for the medical. And I'm sitting there in that, there's probably 15,000 people in this uh stadium, and I'm going like, Yeah, yeah. And so, of course, now they they see what you're buying, and yeah, oh, look at you're going past the convenience store. You might want a big Slurpee.

SPEAKER_03

They know the doctor, the owners of hospitals own markets, they own other food, and they know what they're doing. It is a complete of how to get the money out of your exactly what to do.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the the tobacco companies, they knew how to addict it to you to cigarettes, they know how to addict you to food. Wild story: my wife was 16 years of age, and her great aunt's father is out from Chicago, he's 72 years of age. My wife is 16. She's sitting in the living room with this guy, and all of a sudden he starts talking about his life. And he was a product formulator after World War II, and he worked in a lockdown facility. He had a lot of patents, a lot of inventions, and the thing he regretted, and he told this to my wife, and was that I really regret that I found a way to dick pe addict people to food. That's my biggest regret. 1972 or four, whatever, yeah. By 74, he's told that story. So yeah, that's we've been addicted, and you see it, and it's yeah, now people are yeah, it's just it's it's it's a wicked long.

SPEAKER_03

So if you ask this question of doctors, so we used to be the number one country with healthcare. Used to be the number one. We spend the most. So we're at least three times the closest country on spending money on healthcare. And we're 35th in the list of healthcare. And food quality, we're at almost at the bottom. This is the United States of America. There used to be a commercial that came out as what makes America great? Well, definitely not our health care and our food. Most countries wouldn't accept the food that we get in our stores and things that we buy. Nobody will accept our flour and our bread. Nobody, no other country will touch that. No country.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we've got 60 harvests left before the soil is totally trash. Uh, and yet we just approved glyphosate. Now you can't sue them. Uh, they got that passed. 60 other countries have banned glyphosate, the astrazine is what, 10,000 chemicals in our food chain. And then look at it, it's up for each of us using these things in real-time feedback to make a different choice. Because there's no I remember in COVID, I thought, during COVID, this is so stupid. We should be blocking off the aisles that have what was everyone hoarding? White bread, sodas, they're freezing milk. They were, I mean, all the cereals were the that those shelves were vacant. Now the steak shelf wasn't vacant, the organic produce wasn't vacant, all the worst things people were hoarding. It was nuts. It just showed you how addicted our brains are to the sugar. Yeah, it's crazy. It's insane. You go to the farmer's market, you know the number one booth where people are lined up for? The bread booth.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. It's always that way. Sugar. Sugar. It's a hundred percent sugar. It's people think it's actually doing some good for you. But you know, when you go when you go to uh France and you see them eating bread all the time, and you come back here and you see us eating bread, how come they don't gain weight and we do? It's the bread. It's not bread. It's it's a flour that's in there to make you bad. It's like the hospitals bought the bread companies and the flour producers because it's so bad for us. And and the FDA is supposed to be something for us, federal, you know. Aren't they supposed to be watching out our health?

SPEAKER_02

They need to be cut. They should have been doged. You just get rid of all of them. They're they're worthless.

SPEAKER_03

They need to be cut out completely and gone.

SPEAKER_02

I have clients that have lived in in like South America. I remember this one gal, she had diverted, she had a I think she had Crohn's, colitis. She had severe gut issues, right? She says, David, I was fine in South America. I could eat all the bread, no problem. I come here, I get sick. I had another client. He was, I remember he went to Italy a couple years ago. And he says, David, I ate the pizza. Didn't have a problem. Ate the bread, no problem. He says, David, I was downtown. He says, their 5G towers aren't near the power that ours are. He says, I was fine because he's very sensitive to the electromagnetic frequency. So yeah, the America, we've been so poisoned and we're st and we're just taking it. We're not even waking up and fighting back. Well, we're fighting back a little bit, but we gotta we gotta fight harder.

SPEAKER_03

Even tortillas, look at our Mexican population. They eat tortillas here and they go, these aren't the same. And they all gain weight. I know and then they go back home and they all lose weight eating tortillas. Like, okay, so that's a bread. It's the grain, it's how we're how it's processed, yeah, what they put into it, all the preservatives, all the different things. This is the worst thing you could eat. Sorry if you love sandwiches and stuff. Maybe you need to order flour from another country if you can get it and bake your own bread. That's the only way you're gonna get real bread that you can eat.

SPEAKER_02

There is a wheat product, and then so I had a I had a group from the Amish country come out and do our 10-day healing retreat, and they were young, they were less than 30 years old, and both had pots, a lot of gut issues as well. They both got healed, went back, and I was talking to uh, I mean, they completely healed their healed their body. But I was so we got invited to one of them's wedding. So we were we got to be pretty popular in that little group. And I was talking to them, I went back there and I said, I don't understand it. I said, I would have thought, Amish country, that you would have weeds here and there. I mean, you guys obviously are spraying some glyphosate. Oh, says, Oh, David, yeah, we bought into all the bad stuff. That's why everyone's sick. They're all spraying it here, even though so it's even that community. But they're but they're starting to break out of it and start planting some other varieties that are good for the gut. And in fact, he called me. He says, Hey, you gotta check this out. This is really good for your I don't remember the name of it right now. But yeah, you know, it's we we got food that we can eat tolerate, but we've just been hijacked, and we the with our pocketbooks gotta change that. Yeah. It's a hard thing to do.

SPEAKER_03

It's not easy.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. So habitcured.com, get the beta right now. You get it free for life. And anything else you want to share with us, Rick, before we go?

SPEAKER_03

Just choose what you get.

SPEAKER_02

Choose what you get. All right, this has been David De Haas from Living Waters Wellness Center where miracles begin by healing from within. Until next week. Have a blessed week, my friends.
