SPEAKER_06

We see an effect here, but I just curious what happened to you on people's health, especially I I had a client in yesterday and she has an IUD.

SPEAKER_04

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_06

And I said, you know, you probably want to research that. It's probably that's going to be a long-term issue, problem for you, causing you problems long term because women are meant to menstruate. Now she's not. So what do you see when they get to menopause you without IUD in the whole?

SPEAKER_03

Is it an IUD that has hormones on it or like a copper IUD? That makes a little bit of a difference.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, uh well, the the ones I can recall, it was a copper IUD.

SPEAKER_03

Copper IUD. Okay. I actually prefer the copper over the hormone one because the hormones are going to be messing with your own natural hormones a lot more. Yeah, it's going to be actually she's still menstruating and everything. So her hormones are not necessarily being messed up. It's just that she can't get pregnant. And the fertility awareness method, which is a woman being aware. So of all the birth control systems out there, other than of her secretions, her temperature, and all of that. So very naturally she knows when she's ovulating and when she's not. Now it gets trickier when you are in perimenopause. It's the marina ring, right? That has the progestin on it. It's the birth control pills. It's the doctors putting perimenopause women on birth control pills. It's going to interrupt this whole thing. So, yes, I have an issue with women in perimenopause being in on any type of chemical birth control. I'd rather maybe, you know, we take out the merino ring. We take out, um, we stop the birth control pills, and we're actually using real, honest to goodness, bioidentical progesterone to help with things.

And welcome everyone to today's Whole Body Detox Show. I'm David De Haas from Living Waters Wellness Center. Living Waters Wellness Center was formed after we discovered how to heal my body from multiple symptoms, including allergies, asthma, chronic fatigue, back pain, psoriasis, acne, hives, yeast infections, and finally cancer. And I did it all naturally. After 20 years of trying numerous different treatments, medical treatments, cleanses, aridology, muscle therapy, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, naturopathy, those experiences led us to discover that recipe that led to become known as the Four Natural Laws of Healing. Combining multiple natural healing modalities to fully detox and cleanse the body and allowing the body to take the perfect nutrition to fully restore the body back to its innate health. This became known as a 10-day healing retreat. We've helped thousands of people just like you get their health restored so they can live their life to the fullest. I'm David De Haas from Living Waters Wellness Center where Miracles begin by healing from within on the whole by D Talk Show today. And KID Talk Radio Listeners, I have Miss Cindy Dupuy. She's a functional medicine practitioner and a menopause guide who's specialized digestion, thyroid, blood work, women in their menopause years. Menopause years. Her goal to educate and empower women to advocate for themselves. She received her BS degree in dietetics many moons ago and then founded functional and then found functional medicine over 23 years ago. She has gone through a very difficult time in her life. Digestive system was rebelling like a teenager and was thrown into an early menopause at age 43. Since that time, she's never looked back and it's helped hundreds of clients heal through functional medicine. Welcome to the show.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you, David. It's nice to be here.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. So 43, that's pretty young.

SPEAKER_03

It's yeah, it's on the younger side. Yeah. The average age uh for women to go into menopause is about 51. Yeah. So it's on the low end, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And that's when you got into the field?

SPEAKER_03

Is that when you switched from the dietetics part of it to well, actually, I never really did anything with the dietetics part of it for a variety of reasons. One, I kind of knew instinctively, even back then, that to do my master's or do an internship would be like nails on a chalkboard. I kind of instinctively knew that. And then I also got married right after I graduated, had a family, and then was working for my then husband and the used carb business. So that was kind of a departure from where I was going. And at 43, what happened is I was going through a divorce, so a very stressful time in my life, and I lost a fair amount of weight. And you know, you lose enough weight, and the body says, eh, we don't need to make any more of those sex hormones. We need to reserve, you know, whatever we got for something else that is more life-sustaining. And so it just turned everything off. And even when I kind of writed myself about two years later, my body just says, eh, we're not going to turn it back on. So, and at that same time, and I do think it was a combination of stress, combination of a loss of hormones, all of that. My digestive system really did take a dump. I think I've always had that's kind of my weak spot. And I always had some issue with constipation, not horrible, but this just all shut down.

SPEAKER_06

That's why your hormones want to take a dump because you need to take a dump.

SPEAKER_03

Maybe that was because I needed to take a dump, exactly. So, how actually I found functional medicine was not necessarily to heal myself, but that is what came about as a result. It was kind of like, how do I get back into dealing with the body? I mean, it's it's something that I've always been fascinated by and have always loved. So I'm like, okay, I'm no longer working for my ex-husband. What is my next step? And I happened to go to a lecture from a local nutritionist, and she had Dr. Mark Hyman's book, The Ultra Metabolism, you know, on her table. And she was talking about Dr. Hyman. And I picked up the book, bought it, and I went, oh my goodness, this totally makes sense to me. And then I also became a yoga instructor right about that time. And my yoga students were starting to come to me about nutrition, about health. And I had a client, you know, talking about going by the seat of your pants, right? Because people coming to you was like, okay, and you know, looking things up. And I found that the Institute of Functional Medicine was having a very intensive week-long course here in Pasadena, California, and which was near enough to me. I raised my hand. I said, I'm going. And by the end of the six days, I just said, I found my tribe. This just makes total sense to me of how the body works and works in conjunction with each other. It's not parsed out into different pieces. And yes, I was very fortunate they had a module, of course, on digestion. And I happened to be sitting next to a darling natural path from Canada. And, you know, when you go to something like this, you're sitting, you end up sitting next in the same spot, the next same person. So we got to talking. And I told her, I said my digestive system is just awful. And she said, Have you had any tests done? And I said, Yes. And I had a GI effects test from Genova Labs. And she says, Well, do you have, you know, can you bring in your test results the next day? And I said, sure. So I did. And she was so helpful in pointing out some of the things I was really lacking in, and some of the things that the integrative doctor who had initially done the test for me just totally missed because she wasn't well trained in how to read the test results. So anyway, that started my journey as far as healing my digestive system. I did find colonics within a year, and I would say it saved me. It did. I think I probably would have been in the hospital at one point, but I am a big proponent on colonics. I am. And that was part of my healing process. There's so many other. So anyway, that's how I got into functional medicine. I moved into the menopause space about six years ago when I was looking at my clients and watching them kind of lose ground. And yet I knew what their lifestyle was. I knew their digestive health. I knew how they were eating. I knew they were doing pretty much the right things, but we're still move losing some ground. I went, you know, there's a missing piece here. And then the other thing is I was looking at my contemporaries and I'm going, I'm doing a lot better than most of them. And even if they're eating well and doing other things. And, you know, I had been put on HRT hormone replacement therapy when I was 50. So seven years after I gone into menopause, I didn't know anything about it. I got lucky, in my opinion, that I found a doctor and she says, Hey, I think you need to go on HRT. And I'm like, okay, whatever. And but I think it did make a difference. I think it's given me, if you want to call that an edge, not that I'm looking for that necessarily. But I do think it is something that women need to know about. They need to know their options because it's a very personal decision, whether or not they take it or not. It's not the end-all be all be all by any stretch of the imagination. It's I kind of look at it as icing on the cake. There's so many other layers that we have to have in line. And I used to be kind of rigid about that a little bit. And now working with women, I've kind of switched my idea around that. In that sometimes when women lose their hormones and it's been years, sometimes we have to put a little bit of that in in order for them to have the bandwidth to put some of the other pieces of the pie or the layers of the cake in so they can support their bodies on a different level. So it's it's nuanced, it is.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. So when you get a client, you start going through their profile, and of course, everyone's gonna be obviously doing things. What's you? I mean, first of all, I'm gonna start with a long questionnaire to see where they're at as far as and then you didn't go into diet, you get some meds, or you get some, I'm sorry, some tests. What's that look like?

SPEAKER_03

My first two tools that I rely highly are a lot on. Yes, long form questionnaire, sitting down with my client, obviously spending a lot of time with them, finding out what's happened to them in the past, what's happening for them right now, but I also require really good blood work. And it doesn't have to be really expensive blood work. Blood work to me is low-hanging fruit because the majority of it we can get our doctors to do if we know how to ask for it. And I do have a PDF that talks about the lab checklist that women should ask for and why and then how to do it. But I think it's really important. And some of the things that we can't get our doctors to do in the States, we can order it ourselves. We can just go to the lab and order ourselves. I order it from my clients on a cash basis, so it's it's not that expensive and it's well worth it because the doctors miss so much. And if I don't have the these pieces of the information, I can't look at really what's going on. So that's one. If I could, I probably on 70% of my clients, I would have them do a functional still test because it can tell me so much. But you know, and I'm sure, like with you, after you've been doing this a while, you can kind of figure out what is going on and where you need to start. And if you get in a stuck place, that's when possibly you might want to go a little bit deeper. But blood work or really good intake is where I start. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Awesome. Do you and you find that most of your clients' diet's been really bad? Are they aware of the talk, or they're your clients more, they're somewhat aware?

SPEAKER_03

And the individuals that come to me versus like, say if I have a group, like a a course that I'm doing, the individuals that come to me, by the time they come to me, because they've been feeling pretty badly for a while, they've been trying to figure things out, they're pretty savvy. And so yeah, I I will tweak what they're eating a little bit, sometimes a lot, but usually they're kind of kind of there. And in lifestyle, they're they're usually pretty good too, believe it or not. You know, that the colleagues that come to me are pretty well educated for the most part, and that keeps me on my toes. So often it is looking at their thyroid, their blood work, their bowel movements, they're overdoing it sometimes. And you know, something, David, and I don't know if you've run into this, but it's something that's just really become front and center for me. And that is the vagus nerve and autonomous nervous system. And it came front and center for me just because you know, this last year, I kind of lost my, I guess the right word would be resiliency. And I'm like, what the heck is going on? And it's subtle, or it seemed kind of subtle, but it wasn't. And then I kind of had to put the pieces of the puzzle together. So a lot of women coming into perimenopause and menopause can feel this loss of resiliency, this loss of being able to bounce back from things. And it's kind of like they're in this tunnel. So I'm paying more attention to how our body can get stuck. And it can be something that's happened to them in inflammatory wise, it can be a trauma emotionally, mentally, or physically. And so trying to get to the bottom of that too, and to support my women there. And I find sometimes that I have to kind of, I'm starting to even suggest that they get a doctor's note to maybe work a little bit less as their bodies are recovering. So it's on a many, many different levels. But that highway system of what's going on between the vagus nerve and parasympathetic and autonomic system is really important. And during this time, because of what is happening when our hormones drop, it really sets us up for things to get stuck. So inflammation goes up when estrogen goes down and when progesterone goes down, our mitochondrial ability gets hit. We get hit on so many different levels, and men do too, when their testosterone drops. So we get hit on so many different levels that I don't think doctors, I don't think women understand. And if we don't understand all of the different mechanisms and all of the different roles that our hormones play in our bodies, I think we're gonna have a really hard time again, putting everything into this broad picture, which I think we have to get taken this bird's eye view, this big to get down here sometimes. I mean, we can do things down here, but if we're not getting to where we need to be, we need to go, where are you stuck? And again, I'm kind of talking about what just happened to me this last year. It's like, okay, what the hell happened? And you know, lab work, why did this go askew? And whereas a year before, it's like my lab work was stellar and I was feeling really good. And you know, when I started to put the pieces together, it's like, yeah, that, that, that, that, that. All little, not big things, but all nuanced to kind of create this whole thing. So I'm coming at it from many, many different angles. And women are really unfortunately having to advocate for themselves. Well, everyone is in our healthcare system, and I know you know that. And we can only get so far. And one of my jobs is to educate women enough so they can advocate for themselves overall in health. And I know there's a lot of people still out there that get impatient. I have one client that said, you know, why do I have to know this about the hormones? Why can't the doctors know? And I said, I'm really sorry, but they don't know. And there is a reason why they don't know. And it's just part of us taking responsibility for ourselves, and we have to do that. So if a woman's willing to do that, I am so happy to guide her. So happy to support and guide her as she's going through this journey, you know.

SPEAKER_06

We've been talking to Cindy Dupuis about livingbalance.net. She's also a fan of colon hydrotherapy, and colon hydrotherapy should be part of your uh tools to heal your hormones because when the colon's toxic, the liver's gonna be toxic. And what does the liver do? Well, it helps balance your hormones, your thyroid, and about 500 other jobs. So you may want to be sure to detoxify, get those heavy metals out, those parasites. And then when you start applying the other things that Cindy teaches, you're gonna do much better. And if you miss any parts of the show, you can catch the whole thing over at the Whole Body Detox Show, found on the podcast on all the major platforms, or you can find links at livingwaterscleanse.com as well. And while you're over at the podcast, do give us a subscribe, like it, and do share it and give us a review. I'd so appreciate it. Hey, if you want to work in a fun learning environment, you love to care for people, you have a great personality, quick on your feet. We're looking for colon hydrotherapists. It's part-time. We have some openings in the week, in the mornings from about 8, 8.30 till about 1, and from about 12 30 till 5, and we also have a Saturday opening. So give us a call 208-378-9911, 208-378-9911, if you'd like to explore about being a colon hydrotherapist in Living Waters. I love watching miracles happen. I especially love watching them happen in you. You have the ability to heal anything. We've proven it over and over and over again. We love to show you how you can heal your own body naturally. Here's what a few of our clients have shared with us.

SPEAKER_00

My name is Lodia Nalden. I came to Living Waters for a colonic and it's been really an incredible experience. I think Wendy wrote most of it. And David, they're really a great team. I've enjoyed all of the staff here. I think I just feel better generally. I think my mind is more clear. I had a little arthritis in my right hand, but it's not perfect, but it's a lot better. But I would recommend this to anyone.

SPEAKER_02

Hi, I'm Becky, and I came here for a 10-day clinic and was a little wood-willy experience and very pleasantly surprised. It definitely works. My feet were so swollen at the top. I've lived with that for years, just a pain that you just learned to live with. But I have such mobility in them now. It's awesome. And just your clear head energy. In fact, I did a 48-hour awake with my daughter, who is in an emergency room, and I never can stay up past 10 o'clock at night, but I did it twice. So I must say colonic or colon hydrotherapy is the best.

SPEAKER_06

To learn more about the 10-day healing retreat, go to LivingWaterscleans.com, click on the link for Natural Laws of Healing, and watch the video and check out this hundreds of clients who heal from their symptoms under the Success Stories tab. Or call the office at 208-3789911. That's 208-378-9911. The preceding examples may not be typical of your experience, may not be right for you. Talk to a healthcare professional and see if cleansing is right for you. What effect we see an effect here? But I was just curious what happened to you on people's health, especially. I had a client in yesterday and she has an IUD.

SPEAKER_04

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_06

And I says, you know, you probably want to research that. It's probably it's going to be a long-term issue, problem for you, causing you problems long-term because women are menstruated. Now she's not. So what do you see when they get to menopause years without an IUD in the whole time?

SPEAKER_03

Is it an IUD that has hormones on it or like a copper IUD? That makes a little bit of a difference.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, uh well, the the ones I can recall, it was a copper IUD.

SPEAKER_03

So copper IUD. Okay. I actually prefer the copper over the hormone one because the hormones are going to be messing with your own natural hormones a lot more. Yeah, it's going to be actually she's still menstruating and everything. So her hormones are not necessarily being messed up. It's just that she can't get pregnant. And so of all the birth control systems out there, other than the fertility awareness method, which is a woman being aware of her secretions, her temperature, and all of that. So very naturally she knows when she's ovulating and when she's not. Now it gets trickier when you are in perimenopause, but it's the marina ring, right? That has the progestin on it. It's the birth control pills, it's the doctors putting perimenopause women on birth control pills. It's going to interrupt this whole thing. So, yes, I have an issue with women in perimenopause being in on any type of chemical birth control. I'd rather maybe, you know, we take out the merina ring, we take out, um, we stop the birth control pills, and we're actually using real, honest to goodness, bioidentical progesterone, you know, to help with things. So we can still determine whether or not a woman is moving into perimenopause, right? By measuring her LH and FSH, because both of those will start.

SPEAKER_06

What's L what's LSF? What are we talking about?

SPEAKER_03

FSH is follicle stimulating hormone, and LH is glutenizing hormone. I'll talk more about the follicle stimulating hormone. That is what our brain stimulates, okay, or makes a lot of to stimulate the. The follicles to make us ovulate. And the less fewer eggs that we have, and as our estrogen goes down, the FSH will start to scream. And we'll say, you know, come on, man. We still want this. We're still going here. So the FSH will go up and to try to stimulate that whole thing. And so we'll start seeing that go up, even if it's really hard in perimetopause to test estrogen and progesterone and testosterone not so much, because estrogen can change from hour to hour, day to day, especially during perimenopause. So I don't even test estrogen and progesterone during perimetopause. I will look more to see where a woman is, how close she is to menopause based on her FSH. I'll look at that. Okay. And I also look at FSH to see if a woman is being properly supported in her hormone replacement therapy, which doctors normally don't do. We want to get that fairly low, estrogen up high enough to push that down. And they're saying we're on benefit with bone health and things like that.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, what happens to bone health?

SPEAKER_03

Ah, I love that question. I love that question. Bone health. That's one of the biggest things that I see in my clinic. That women who are, you know, getting enough protein, they are, you know, fairly active and they're still losing bone. And part of that is genetic. There is a genetic aspect aspect to it. And part of it can be some of the risk factors that came with them going into perimenopause and menopause. And some of the risk factors, you know, people don't even think about. You think about putting a young woman in her teenage years on birth control, which happens way too much. And it's not to prevent pregnancy, it's to prevent or to help mitigate some of the cramping and just the PMDD and all those other things which should not be taken care of with birth control. There's something else going on here that we need to be taken care of. But anyway, these very young women are being put on this. Well, estrogen is one of the biggest components of keeping our bone health, all right? And building up bone. Well, not so much building up, but losing the bone. So you have a young woman who's still building bone until she's in her, you know, early 20s, and perhaps she's not building, she's on birth control and birth control even after that, right? So you're not making estrogen. People don't realize you're not making your hormones anymore. This is when when we have a bleed on birth control, it's a withdrawal bleed. It's just we're you still may be taking the pills, but there's no hormones in it. It's just, you know, withdrawal and of the chemicals, that's all it is. So that would be one risk factor. Another risk factor is, you know, we have these elite athletes in high school and they're in college or the early 20s. And here again, if we're not making adequate amount of estrogen, they're not, they don't have enough body fat, or maybe they're too thin, that is going to set them up for possible osteoporosis as well. If we're taking steroids, we have a lot of injuries, or even inhaled steroids, that can set you up for a problem again with losing bones. So there's a lot of different reasons. You have vegan, right? My little vegans, it's like, okay, guys, it's really tough for them to get the protein that they need and to support their bones. So that's what's leading up. And when we hit perimenopause, I recommend all women get a DEXA scan, which is a bone scan in their early 40s so we can have a baseline. And unfortunately, unless you ask for it, most women will not get their first DEXA scan until they are 65, until they come underneath Medicare. And then Medicare does pay for it, right? You can get your insurance to possibly pay for it prior to that, but you have to talk about risk factors to your doctors. Like this is what I want to have done. Or you can pay it out of pocket. You know, it's $150 or less. You can pay it out of pocket. It's worth every single penny. The thing is, is that by the time you're 65, most women have been out of perimenopause or been in menopause for about 15 years. We had the biggest amount of bone loss in the first seven years of menopause when we've lost estrogen. And what most women don't realize, or most people don't realize, is that estrogen was approved by the FDA. And sometimes I'm happy with the FDA, many times I'm not, but this time I'm happy. Um, they approved estrogen as uh a medication, if that's what you want to call it, to prevent bone loss in 1975. And then when we have the Women's Health Initiative, that study and what came from that, the big cancer scare and even heart disease scare in 2002, where we shut all conversation down what it surrounds um HRT and perimenopause and menopause. Women are not offered it. I get older women into my office that have a significant amount of bone loss. Has their doctor ever offered estrogen to mitigate that? No, none. It's just the biphosphonates, which have a whole huge set of risks with that.

SPEAKER_06

So bone is really, yeah. How many people come through are taking a really good high-quality multi-mineral supplement?

SPEAKER_03

You know, it's it's a good question. You know, it's making me pause here, right? I would say that probably not a lot. It's not a focus of mine. Do I think minerals are important? Yes, I do. Do I think magnesium is important? Yes, I do. Do I think calcium's big one? No, I don't. Okay.

SPEAKER_06

I don't I'll tell you our little story. My wife and I so in 1991, I tore my ACL meniscus. And at the same time, my daughter was vaccine injured. So this is where our whole my life shifted down a whole different route. I love to play basketball. And uh now I tore my ACL, I tore my meniscus, and the went to a homeopath. And he says, uh, don't give this girl another jab, you'll kill her.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Went, what? Isn't that how we boost our immune system? Didn't know anything, right?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And then he said to me, he says, Don't go under surgery, you may not wake up. I go, Oh, we got some work to do first. Well, about that same time, I ran to a nutritional products company, got on their supplement, and uh there's a guy named Harvey and Dwayne Ashmeade, the Ashmeade boy, I call them the father and son team down in Utah, and they built supplements and they had made a chelated mineral. So it was a mineral wrapped in proteins and the body saw, boom, went in. And the video or the presentation he showed me on slides, he showed dogs with osteoporosis, thin bones. And they gave these dogs chelated minerals in six months. These dogs had thick bones. Well, I forgot all about that. And uh, three years later, uh, again, I was doing real estate. Three years later, I felt I was you know well enough to go do surgery. And of course, I told the doctor 30 times, don't take out my meniscus. You know, I, you know, whatever you gotta do, sand it off, stitch it, duct tape, but I don't care, but don't take it out. I want to play basketball. He's kind of laughing at me, but I told him I'm seriously probably 30 times. Remember, remember, remember. Because out of surgery, the first thing I ask him, how's meniscus? How's the meniscus? He's looking at me. He says, David, it's perfect. And of course, I'm in an anesthesia, stupid, going, huh? No, no, no, no. The cartilage in my knee. How is it? He goes, It's like the day you're born. I go, What? Did you operate on the wrong knee? He's laughing at me. He said, Dave, I have the tape. Of course, I'm looking at my leg, it's all bandaged up. And and uh, oh, and I remember the presentation of these dogs. Well, 10 years after that, my wife and I were in a store and they had this bone density scan thing you can do. You pay, I don't know, 30, 40 bucks to get it done. She said, Hey, let's do that. So we do the bone density scan, and the scalp, she looks at us, she comes right in her face, she goes, Who are you people? What do you mean? She goes, Well, no one ever has a bone density scan like you guys. No one? I mean, how long have you been doing this? He goes, 10 years. No one ever has a bone density scan like this. She goes, No, no one. Oh, well, nothing I know, I've been taking this life back here for 20 years or 10 years. Well, about eight months later, I found an old friend of mine who had been taking the same supplement for 10 years, and he had in in in 19, and so for about I first met him, he had he was a baseball player, and so they I think he had a ligament that was off or a muscle or something. Anyway, they took out some bone and they said it would never grow back. You'll be fine. We'll just take out some bone, it'll be fine. He was fine for about nine years, and then he had that same problem, and so he went to physical therapy for about six, eight months, and then one day he woke up and he goes, No, I wonder if the bone grow back. So he goes and he says, Hey, I want to I want an x-ray. No, you don't need an x-ray, the bone never grows back. That's not the problem. Anyway, he finally did an x-ray, and yeah, the bone had completely grown back. Vitamins and minerals, you need them. And most people aren't taking the supplement. I know here, or they're taking the cheap ones, the stuff that doesn't get absorbed. Yeah, you know, the stuff that says they're A to Z and all the big spox stores, those stuff are absolutely junk. So you need a good quality one, one that gets absorbed. And I found most people over the years just haven't taken them. I've been taking two packs a day since 1992.

SPEAKER_03

And maybe I'm gonna have to pay attention to that.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We have an antioxidant scanner here. We can scan people for their antioxidant status and kind of gives an indication of how well those supplements are working or not. I've been using that scanner for like 30 years, so it's very telling. But yeah, most people are on a very cheap form. Look, if you're buying in the big box stores, yeah, that's stuff on the shelf. I know it costs about two bucks to produce a supplement they sell for 40, and there's nothing in it. It's it's just going through you. And I've had chiropractors over the years in a lot of the offices, and they've showed me where the they're going through the stool.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah, but it's important.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, those are that's a that's a big chemical reaction, and you know, and and then I met, okay. So, right after this, I kid you not, I was at this Bible study. I told this guy about the supplement I was taking. I would mention albine chelates. He goes, We've been he worked for Simplot, Jr. Simplot in Idaho is a big, big farmer, a lot of cows, big egg, right? He says, Yeah, Dave, we started doing giving our cows chelated minerals, and we stopped the scours problems, and our our death rates went way down, and totally different herds. Interesting, it's important for all of us, even the cows. Yeah, my dogs today. I give them a ton of supplements.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, well, you know, the food we're getting and the nutrient density of our food from our soil is very different. Yeah, that's true.

SPEAKER_06

Very, very, very different. Anyway, a little off subject there, but it's it's okay. It's important that you know you've got to have not only a great diet, you got to cut out the inputs, and we've got lots of glyphosate and astrazine, and now we've got we're getting bombarded. I and this is what I don't know about, but the electromagnetic frequencies from all the cell towers that's gotta be playing some kind of havoc. I don't know if you notice this, but I just drove through the middle of Idaho this summer. Normally, what hits your windshield? A lot of bugs.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, there's no bugs. That's kind of scary, huh?

SPEAKER_06

And they they say half our population's gone.

SPEAKER_03

That's scary.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, no, it is. And I wonder what's affecting it's affecting our bodies. I wonder what's doing to the hormone part of it. I don't know. I'm chairman of items for safe technology, so I've been helping to stop trying to get cities to put these things away from homes because they're dangerous, they're just they're bad.

SPEAKER_03

It's a tough one.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it is, it's a big deal. All these things affect us, and then you know, you try to try to go down a rabbit hole and figure out what's going on, and yeah, a lot of things.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it is a lot of things, and it's and it can be overwhelming. It it can't. So you just take what's in front of you, what seems to be the biggest piece right then, and and work on that. Yeah, whatever that is. Everyone's a little bit different on what's going to be the biggest piece for them, but yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Have you seen what what have you seen since we've we did the the uh death, I call it the uh the experiment we did in 2021, my lady. What have you seen since then with people with their hormones and so forth?

SPEAKER_03

You know, I don't have anything to compare it to because I wasn't working with women and hormones prior to that. I would say that what I have seen more of and you know, more cancers and things like that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Definitely.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And you know, it's interesting because you know, long COVID too, which was exasperated, I think, at times, with that wonderful new technology, that definitely has played a role in this whole vagus nerve and the in the stuck-on inflammation.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So that, and I do ask that, yeah, of of my ladies, and if they're still thinking that they need to continue with that, I definitely do try to discourage them and tell them, you know, it can turn on the immune system, and your immune system, especially now, will have a harder time turning itself back off. So improvement.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, we see a lot of people doing the carnivore diet, keto diet. You got people on the vegan vegetarian bandwagon. What do you see there? And and do you compare, like you get what their blood type is, and do you look at what that is and say, okay, you're typo, you bought it.

SPEAKER_03

No, no, I don't look at blood type. I did play with blood type for a while, you know, a long time ago, long, long, long, long time ago. And you know, I do look at my clients and I kind of see how they respond. And I do tend to be more pigan, which is paleo with a little more variety, okay, a little more plant. Um, because I think carnivore it has its place. It does. I do feel that majority of people, especially women, do need a little bit more plant, a little bit more carb, not a whole lot, to support their hormones and in particular their thyroid. So yeah, I do recommend. I was gonna say I restrict, but I recommend that's the one area I will usually have to say something about. It's like, eh, too many carbs here.

SPEAKER_06

Well, you know, we went down too many grains. We went down this pathway, and I think we're finally getting back on track that milks bad, and you should be, you know, taking having soy lattes. Um that's got us problems, right?

SPEAKER_03

What's well the thing with soy is it's covered in glyphosate, number one.

SPEAKER_06

Every single one.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, unless it's organic. Um you know, milk's not such a bad thing for people. And you know, I know you don't have control if you go to uh to a coffee place and you order your latte and whatever you want, but everything like the oat milk is just highly pro it's all highly processed.

SPEAKER_06

It takes a ton of water. I didn't realize how much water it takes. They're talking about everyone that wants to be green right here, is want to be green, but we're we're putting lots of water on to grow these products, and then we can just get it from a goat or a cow. Goat's milk, especially goat's milk. Yeah, yeah, for our bodies. I did a whole show on goat's milk one time.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's it's wonderful for our body. So now I I don't have a negative um a negativity towards um cow's milk. Some people are sensitive to it. Yes, you know, we get A1A2, we get you know go to the pasteurized, of course.

SPEAKER_06

I would I would stay away from that. You gotta go raw milk.

SPEAKER_03

And I'm totally with you on the raw. Um, but a lot of my clients they kind of stay away from milk in general. I mean, they'll they'll eat cheese and stuff like that. I try to kind of guide them more towards the sheep cheeses and the goat cheeses and things like that.

SPEAKER_06

No Velveeta, right? Yeah, whatever that is.

SPEAKER_03

So yeah, I mean, you know, I try to make my my clients more aware of um, you know, how important it is to be as organic as possible. And, you know, really the things that you need to watch for some of the most important things. And you know, it's interesting as we kind of come away from the grains, we kind of start limiting some of the glyphosate. So our wheat is all sprayed, unless it's organic with glyphosate, our oats are sprayed with glyphosate. So if we start going away from wheat and from oats and things like that, we kind of will, you know, you just another division here, another separation from maybe a layer of of getting that.

SPEAKER_06

So how do you so how do you work with clients? Do you work online? Do you what what you gotta how do people reach out to you if they want to reach out to you?

SPEAKER_03

And I'm all telehealth now. I I closed down my physical office in December.

SPEAKER_06

Wow.

SPEAKER_03

And it it felt good actually. I was driving. So yeah, I I shut that down. So I'm all telehealth now, one-on-one. And then I do have a course. It's called Grace and Transition, Women of a Certain Age. And that's an eight-week course. I might be kind of adjusting it a little bit so they can, you know, be part of my course. They can um go on my website and what is your website?

SPEAKER_06

What's the website?

SPEAKER_03

My website is a living, a living balance.net, not dot com, but dot net.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

And there's lots of different ways you can contact me and, you know, just do a 20-minute intro just to see. We talk and find out whether or not we're perhaps a match. So that's really easy to do. I do have that freebie I mentioned before. It's the lab checklist for women in the Pagiers. So that's very valuable. And you can get that on my website. I think I sent you a link as well.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I'll put all these in the show notes for those listening on the radio. You'll have to pop over to the podcast, whole body talkshow.com. Uh, if you listen on KIDO Talk Radio. So everything will be in the show notes over there. I've got her Instagram link here at uh Cindy underscore dupuy. And then you've got some videos, YouTube channel. You've got some good, yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Courses.

SPEAKER_04

Yep.

SPEAKER_06

That's awesome. And a livingbalance.net. So they can reach out to you and they can figure out okay, I should go get some labs and they can get they just have they can have someone to bounce things off of.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

And and then of course is at like a eight weeks. Do I have to do eight weeks? What if I miss a week? Can I do 10? We've been talking to Cindy Dupuis about livingbalance.net. She's also a fan of colon hydrotherapy. And colon hydrotherapy should be a part of your uh tools to heal your hormones because when the colon's toxic, the liver's gonna be toxic. And what does the liver do? Well, it helps balance your hormones, your thyroid, and about 500 other jobs. So you want to be sure to detoxify, get those heavy metals out, those parasites. And then when you start applying the other things that Cindy teaches, you're gonna do much better. And if you miss any parts of the show, you can catch the whole thing over at the Whole Body Detox Show, found on the podcast on all the major platforms, or you can find links at livingwaterscleanse.com as well. And while you're over with the podcast, do give us a subscribe, like it, and do share it and give us a review. I'd so appreciate it. Hey, if you want to work in a fun learning environment, you love to care for people, you have a great personality, quick on your feet. We're looking for colon hydrotherapists. It's part-time. We have some openings in the week, in the mornings from about 8, 8:30 till about 1, and from about 12 30 till 5. And we also have a Saturday opening. So give us a call, 208-378-9911, 208-378-9911, if you'd like to explore about being a colon hydrotherapist of Living Waters. I love watching miracles happen. Here's what a few of our clients have shared with us.

SPEAKER_05

My name is Callie Christensen, and since coming to the Living Waters 10-day healing retreat, I lost 10 pounds, I have more mental clarity, I have less inflammation in my body, I have my planar fasciitis is greatly reduced, and I have more focus, and I have the tools I need to succeed. I highly recommend the Living Waters 10-day healing retreat if you're ready to make a change in your health.

SPEAKER_01

Hi, my name is John. I came to Living Waters because uh my body took some big hits after some surgeries and multiple rounds of antibiotics. I had some uh stool tests and blood tests done and uh H. pylori parasite, some bad bacteria in my gut, and a systemic candida infection ruined my life, and I needed to be rescued on a deeper level. So I came to Living Waters, and it turns out it's more than a colon cleanse.

SPEAKER_06

To learn more about the 10-day healing retreat, go to LivingWaterscleanse.com, click on the link for Natural Laws of Healing, and watch the video and check out this hundreds of clients who heal from their symptoms under the Success Stories tab. Talk to a healthcare professional and see if cleansing is right for you.

SPEAKER_03

You're given so much material, which is it can be a good and bad thing. But anyway, you're given basically everything you need. But the the thing that I like about it is we do meet once a week on the Zoom, which would be recorded. So you do have community. We also have a movement accountability group, so we have a daily check-in. We do, yeah, which you know it keeps us engaged and it gets us to get to know each other. It's not a competition, it's to be supportive of one another with where we are at. Okay, and I think community is really important because we learn from each other. Yeah, we can our experience help other people when they're kind of in a stuck place. And so, and I go through so many different things during that eight week. I think everything that um we kind of need to know about to get through life.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Well, it's great.

SPEAKER_06

You have this free lab checklist for the pause years. You know what? I had a gal call me. This is a funny story. She got referred to me by her sister in Bro. A couple states away, drove over down here, do our 10-day cleanse.

SPEAKER_04

Wow.

SPEAKER_06

And no, it wasn't her. Her sister referred me because, oh, her sister called me and says, David, I never did call and tell you. She says, I didn't go through menopause. I went, What? She says, No, I had no problems. She did a 10-day cleanse and she says, I just, I believe I was, you know, ate healthy. And after the detox with you, I had no problems. None of the problems before was all went away. And so she uh I said, I need to encapsulate that right there.

SPEAKER_03

That's that's awesome. And you know, and some women don't have the outward symptoms, right? Yeah, a perimenopause and menopause, everyone's very different. And you know, I run into that in my clinic. The only thing I would say, yeah, and you know, if it's not broken, we don't have to fix anything, right? Yeah, but I want to see your lab work, really, really, really good lab work. I want to see your fasting insulin. I want to see your A1C. I want to see your Cedarate. I want to see your homo, I want to see your inflammatory markers. I and if they're all okay, awesome. I want to see your DEXA scan. I want to it's the stuff that's what I call underneath the tip of the iceberg. It's the stuff that's below the waterline that often we don't know what's happening because we don't feel it, right? We don't, we're not feeling cardiovascular disease, we're not feeling dementia Alzheimer's, we're not feeling until it's here. And same thing with bone health. And those would be the probably the biggest things that I think are happening below that surface. And so, you know, just make sure that you're, you know, checking in and getting those things checked. And if you're doing great, good for you. And there are some women who are doing great with that.

SPEAKER_06

Well, another big factor, I don't know if you've you've you've noticed this at all, but we met the great Dr. Hal Huggins back in 04, and he was the dentist who taught other dentists to properly remove mercury. Ah, so mercury can play. I did four shows on mercury toxicity with Dr. David Kennedy and Dr. Michelle, and yeah, the mercury and root canals.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Root canals are a big one. So, like if a woman, her CRP comes back high, I always look at gut and oral health.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I had 13.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, those are big.

SPEAKER_06

I know. I had 13 Malcolm Phillies, he saved my life. I got those out. It's a different guy the next day. And the root canals, get the root canals out. No, I don't think I'd be alive today if I would not have met him. But the Montreal, Canada to have my Mercury move. You did first time on a health fair. No, it was a miracle. I mean, him, we got we we had dinner together, and yeah, he came to Idaho to do a presentation. He says, I'm convinced that I came to Idaho only because for you guys. Because my wife had prayed about a solution because she had her skin was shedding off. The bed would be full of dead skin every day. Um he didn't know what's going on. And so I was doing, but that time I was going to health conferences selling vitamins, and I says, Well, come up to Sun Valley at this huge wellness festival back on the day, and so she decided to. She prayed about it. She said, Man, man, God, I need to find a I need to find a solution here. So she comes up there and goes to this huge catalog, lots of big names here, like your Mark Hyman's, your Dr. Hal Huggins. I mean, big names. I mean, Joe Dispenses spoken. I mean, there's been all the big names spoken there, Gundry, you name it. She goes to this big catalog, and her finger sticks on one spot in that catalog. Dr. Hal Huggins, dentistry, huh? Toxic dentistry. What's that about? She's like, I gotta go to this. So she told me, We gotta go to this, David. I don't know why, but we've got to go to this. He gets so she went into the presentation. His slide presentation does not show up. So he said, Well, if I had slides, I'd be describing he was trying to describe the picture.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And my wife's going like, What the heck's up with this guy? Anyway, she had all these books. And so she went over afterwards and she talked to this guy. She says, Well, what book would you suggest? And she says, Well, of all of them, I would do uninformed consent. So my wife quickly went through it, read it, and the next day we met with him and we scheduled to go to Montreal two days later, the end of that month. We we reacted fast. And uh see, they said no one from that festival reached out to him at all, except for us. And what was interesting, we went to dinner with him up in Montreal, and he says, you know, I was debating about whether to go to that show up in Idaho and Sun Valley. It rained that week and he called it Rain Valley. Uh he says, but uh so my wife, we told the story. He says, Well, I sent my I sent a fax in at 1 32 p.m. on March 28th. My wife said, Well, I said the prayer at 1 30 on March 28th. 132. He sent the fax in to commit to it. What's that? Isn't that amazing? I like those. Yeah, yeah, saved our life. So, but yeah, and over the years, I've just the Mercury's been huge, and I believe it's just a factor in so many things.

SPEAKER_03

I think you're right.

SPEAKER_06

And the root canals. I mean, he at the show there, he I introduced my friend who'd just been diagnosed with rare form of breast cancer, and he goes, Oh, yeah, you got a root canal, don't you? She looks up and she goes, Yeah, I do. She goes, Yeah, you got a root canal on your left side, and she and that's where her breast cancer was at.

SPEAKER_03

It's amazing. Body's connected, the body's all connected.

SPEAKER_06

And here's the sad part in medicine today, everyone's so specialized, no one looks at the whole body, they all look the whole picture.

SPEAKER_03

We have all these allologists, right? And everything is siloed, and it's like the last time, and just like you said, last time I looked, everything was connected to everything else.

SPEAKER_06

So, no, the specialists, it's let's have special days where no one talks to each other.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, no one talks to each other, be very profitable, though. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my god, us humans, we're so crazy. What have we done to ourselves?

SPEAKER_03

It's amazing, yeah. It's amazing what we've done to ourselves.

SPEAKER_06

So, yeah, it's pretty amazing. What else? What have we missed? Anything else we should discuss?

SPEAKER_03

We talked about HRT a little bit. We touched, we touched on bone health.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, but I got a question on this because I, you know, obviously I'm a man. So uh, you know, biodenttical hormones. Uh, I mean, the source of the material, if you're gonna do this and you you get your blood left and you look at it, how do you source good stuff? Chemical versus natural, you know, are there herbs that are better? Can you just go straight herbs and get a good response?

SPEAKER_03

Uh, if I don't want to go to any kind of medicine or you know, the only type of herb that I have seen can work. I mean, just in my clinical practice, there probably more out there, but you know, that I've had experience with is it's from a specific company that you know, there's many, many different types of macas, and they use a blend of macas and they have a formula for men, a formula for women. And I have seen estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone shift just by using the maca. And, you know, I do think that part of the mechanism is it is working on the hypothalamus, it is working on the adrenals, and both of those do affect um the signaling and the making of our hormones. So, as far as can plants take the place of bioidentical hormones, I don't think it can take the place, but again, it depends on the woman, right? What does she need? So, some women who are maybe a little bit hesitant are not comfortable with it, but that do need some support, I will definitely give them that. Or even women who are taking HRT, and in my opinion, maybe their blood, their serum numbers are not up high enough. And either the doctors won't give them more or they're they don't want to take more. I'll just say, okay, let's try the mock list. See, and then there's symptoms too, right? It's not everything is lab work, it's right the person in front of you. So it depends on the person in front of you. As far as sourcing it, yeah. I mean, majority of the hormones that are available on the market are bioidentical. Are they made in a lab? Yes, they are. Are they identical to what our hormones look like? Yes, they are, which they weren't years ago. There are still non-biodential hormones available, but any doctor using them, it's like, really, why?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. How long is that? When did that change? How long has that been going on where you've got good biodential hormones? How many years?

SPEAKER_03

You know, I would say probably, you know, I don't even know if it probably was available even before the Women's Health Initiative study, which again, it set the whole tone for the next two decades when it comes to hormones. They did not use biodential hormones in that study, interestingly enough. Was it available? Yes. Was it big on the market? I'm not sure. I do know that when a lot of doctors, the few of the doctors that were coming back on board or never even left, right? They knew that HRT was good for their clients. A lot of them did continue to use the patch. So I would say it's been around for a while, at least since the early 2000s, the biodential, maybe even a little bit before then. But I would say the pill, which was um premarin, which was the um the urine from from pregnant mares. Okay, that's the type of estrogen that they used, and it was oral. And then they used a uh type of progesterone, which was actually a press progesterone, which is not biodentical. They didn't then all that the progesterone, the biodental progesterone didn't come until later. They had a difficult time um micronizing it. They had to micronize it in order for our bodies to absorb it and utilize it. So that did come a little bit later. I would say probably again, 2000s, but maybe a little bit later. Um, you know, you've got different types of hormones. You've got your transdermal, which is your patch, um, which is covered by insurance because it is made in the laboratory the same way every time. You've got that form of transdermal. You've got a gel, which again is made in the laboratory and is covered by insurance because it's standardized. And then you have your compounded creams, which are bi-identical as well, but they're compounded by different um pharmacies. And so that's the basically the, and then you you've got vaginal, right? Estradiol or estriol. So again, majority of what's out there is bi-idental. How good the delivery, the chemicals that are in the delivery form, yeah, some are probably better than others. And I would say that some compounding pharmacies with the crames are probably better than others. Yeah. So you've got that factor, you do.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, well, and definitely we found, you know, once people get their colon moving, you know.

SPEAKER_03

That's huge.

SPEAKER_06

It's huge. And then we do a liver cleanse here, and I find that's really huge. Yeah, because most people's liver is so toxic because basically been pooping in their pelvis. I call it pooping in the pelvis for their entire life.

SPEAKER_03

Pooping in their pelvis.

SPEAKER_06

Yes. What I mean by that is that man, well, okay, the average person's pooping maybe once once a day if they're lucky, right? Okay, let's just say you're eating 21 meals a week. You know, three meals a day, seven days, 21 meals. You're pooping once a day. What's happening to the 14 meals? Or worse, so many people come to see us, of course, every three days, once a week.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_06

Once every two weeks, once every two months. I had a couple clients like that. Well, what's happening? So think about this. Imagine poop squishing through a screen door. Well, if it's sitting in the colon, it's getting into the blood. And some of that's dripping into the interstitial fluid, into the lymphatic system. And now where's that going? Well, it's going up this vein up here, and it's going to the liver, and liver's going like, what the hell are you doing to me? I got 500 jobs, and part of those are the hormones of the thyroid. And now it's, you know, you have the bile ducts are all plugged up with all the things it's uh trying to protect you from. And so if you've got eczema and psoriasis, well, that's part of your your second liver.

SPEAKER_03

It is, and you know, you just yeah, it is. And you know, you just mentioned the liver, you just mentioned the skin and and all of that. And this is something that I stumbled upon just personally, and it is that estrogen is part of making choline. Choline is part of making prostateal colonine, prostateal choline is part of making the bile. And we know bile is really, really important to package up our toxins, our hormone metabolites, all of that taken to the gallbladder and dumped in the uh small intestine. And then hopefully it goes out if you're actually pooping and your intestinal walls are all working as well, that they're intact. So when we lose estrogen, there are um some people that have a really difficult time making choline just genetically. If they have the PEMT gene, um then, you know, probably it could be contributing to them having an issue with pooping, okay, with gallbladder issues too. So usually we can kind of trace like is there gallbladder issues in your family? Is there eczema in your family? Is there dandruff in your family? All those skin things that you're talking about here, right? And all of our fat-soluble vitamins, all of that. So for some women, we'll see most gallbladders removed in post-menopausal women. So this can be one of the reasons. So lots of times we do need to support the women.

SPEAKER_06

Postmenopausal women have their gallbladders.

SPEAKER_03

No, sorry, I didn't say that correctly. I'm so I'm glad you you know what most gallbladders are removed in and okay. Gallbladder removals are done more in postmenopausal women than any other population. How does that sound? So, not all postmenopausal women will have the gallbladders removed, but majority of the gallbladders are removed in that segment of the population.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So that's a good distinction.

SPEAKER_06

Well, we've always found that you know the walk, the gallbladder connection in the gut is on the uh lower right of the ascending colon. That's usually where you've got a big package of old poops stuck in there. And so the neurons can't fire in those nerves. Every organ in your body connects to the colon small intestine. So the neurons aren't firing the nerves. And then, of course, if you got toxic poop in your blood, or you got poopy blood, then it's gonna be poopy liver, if you will. And I mean, so you've got now you've got, like I say, the bile ducts. You only got 50,000 bile ducts, which is quite a few, but every once in a while you can't just take the filter out and shake it out like you can't a furnace filter.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

That's why we do a liver cleanse. So that makes a big difference. I've done 71 liver cleanses now over the last 20 years.

SPEAKER_03

Wow.

SPEAKER_06

Save my life for sure, for sure, for sure.

SPEAKER_03

Liver's important, yeah. Cleansing.

SPEAKER_06

And we're seeing kids come in though. We're seeing kids in their 20s or 25. Fatty liver.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Of course, what have they been doing? They've been going to you know school and eating the school fare, which is basically it's just as bad as the prison food, and it's it's horrible. It's and so hopefully, you know, RFK, he's doing his best. Get some things changed, but yeah, the foods, the shots, the things, it's all these toxins. We our body can't handle it.

SPEAKER_03

No, they can't. No, they can't, and our kids really are being hit. It's unfortunate. Yeah, very hard. It's hard to watch. Yeah, it's hard to watch on so many levels. So many levels.

SPEAKER_06

I know. Even I've got caught in that. It's like I was buying this product for years. It was a hummus product, and it said organic. And I didn't really check thoroughly on the label until I've been using it for about four or five years. And it said canola oil. Well, what?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you can get organic canola oil.

SPEAKER_06

You get organic everything. That doesn't make it good for you.

SPEAKER_03

True. Good point. Yeah, that's very true. That is very true.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, folks, you got to check your labels very, very, very, very well. And go see someone like Cindy who can help you out and check out your hormones and you know, have someone to bounce things off of, get your get your labs done, and see what all that means. It's good as you have that resource there to be able to.

SPEAKER_03

And that's what I try to be. You and you just kind of put it in a nutshell. I think we all need to have at least one or two people in our sphere, yeah. Who we can bounce things. Yes, yes you can we can bounce things off of because I I don't know about you, David, but I'm imagining this is true for you too, is that sometimes, you know, I start seeing through a lens like this, and I can't get out of my way and see clearly. And someone will say something, and you know, in my healing sphere, my chiropractor or my you know, colon hydrotherapist or somebody, and I go, Oh, yeah, I forgot about that.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah. We all need help. Michael Jordan had a coach. So uh this is what's hilarious. I had these big uh fatty uh lumps, lipomas on my body. I got more and more. And uh, I was at this health show back in New York City back in 2000. I don't know, three. These guys had tuning forks in the booth next door. And I go, What are those? What do you do with those? And so he's talking to me about it. I says, Well, I showed him my big fatty tumors, they're huge. And I'm not into detoxing yet. I haven't this what we do today. I'm not doing that yet. He says, Oh, come back, come back tomorrow early. And I'll be we'll put the big boys on it. We'll put the big boys on those tuning forks on those fatty tumors. Well, it did break it up two or three years later, or two or three days later, my my arms itching, it's getting red. And then all I heard in my head was mercury. And I went, Oh my god. So I'd had a couple taken out and tested, they weren't cancerous. I go, and then eventually the body, amazingly enough, coagulated that fat back and connected that mercury, and I went, Wow, that's amazing. Because no doctor knew what I had, they had no clue, no one ever said anything. And then um, so of course, then I met Huggins, got the Mercury moved, and and I'm still detoxifying, I'm still detoxifying the mercury. Mercury's half-life is 27 years. I think it's very special stuff for it still to these days. But back to your point earlier about you know having getting out of our head and having uh support like someone like you, to kind of say, Hey, consider this. About uh a year ago, my wife says, Hey, we need to go to Dr. Andrew. We get we're gonna get we're gonna get some blood tests, both you and I. Why? Well, we should do that. So I had a genetic test. Now I read the books on MTHFR. I've got lots of clients with the MTHFR gene, right? I never thought about it. I'm sure I don't have it, right? I had two snippets. Ah, and I was like shocked because so many of my clients come in with that snippet and they're like so sick. And I just thankful that I've been doing so much cleansing and detoxifying all these years.

SPEAKER_03

That's your yes, and you know, this is a really good point. Do you have you ever heard of Dr. Ben Lynch?

SPEAKER_06

That name's familiar.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, so he's like the genetic guru, he really is. And he wrote the book Dirty Genes. Okay, and he talks about what you were just referring to, and that we can have genetic SNPs, right? It's when our genes get dirty that we get in trouble. So you have been taking care of yourself. So even though you may be homozygous for the MTHFR gene, your body is still able to do the things it's supposed to do because you have been supporting it in so many different ways. So though that gene hasn't gotten dirty to really affect your health. Okay, maybe at some point, maybe part of that mercury poisoning that was a load on it, right? That was a load on that. So he's he's a very, very smart man. In fact, that's how I found out about my PEMT gene. And when I did take things to support me making choline and moving it, it's like it changed everything for me. It well, not everything, but you know, I had gotten about 80% of where I wanted to be, and as far as digestion and some other things. And I was like, I got stuck and I couldn't figure it out. And then he you know, I ran across a post and I went, you know, I've got my my gene report here. Let me just see. And sure enough, I'm not homeless I guess for it. And I went, okay. Yeah, so we learn how to support ourselves with that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Have you ever read The Bology Biology of Belief by Dr. Bruce Lipton?

SPEAKER_03

I have not.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, you gotta read that book. So Dr. Lipton back in the 1960s discovered that we could actually change our our our genes in our body with thought.

SPEAKER_03

I can I can believe that we can change how they are expressed. Yes.

SPEAKER_06

We had a gall comes with a cleanse, and we do a lot of things. We do heart math coherence. Have you heard of heart coherence?

SPEAKER_03

I have not.

SPEAKER_06

All right, you're in Pasadena?

SPEAKER_03

Mm-hmm. Well, close. I'm close to it.

SPEAKER_06

Where are they located? They're close to, I think. Uh little far away. Anyway, uh, you heard Dr. Joe Dispenza?

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, so he teaches. Have you been to his retreat of his?

SPEAKER_03

No.

SPEAKER_06

You gotta go, girl. You gotta go. Game changer. So heart math coherence. So um so he's been he learned that years ago. I won't go into all of his story, but you can go online and find it. But uh yeah, Lipton wrote a book, Biology of Belief, years ago, and he'd been preaching this stuff. And and Joe Dispenses in that same, him and Greg Brain, all those three are all in the same realm. How we can change our body, we can change our coherence. If we get our heart alignment with our brain, heart coherence, we can affect how our body reacts. So during COVID, uh, Dr. Dispensive, he'd been doing brain scan, taking out blood draws. What's happening to these people when they do this heart coherence? So he did a blood draw on a bunch of meditators in 2021, sent up to the lab in San Diego and said, check it out. What's going on? What's happening to these people? So they took the blood and they put the COVID virus in it. And the scientist that was working on it goes, This can't be right. This can't be right. He kept redoing it, redoing it, redoing it, did it like 20. Finally called the head guy. You gotta come down and see this. Something's obviously this gotta be wrong. I'm doing something wrong. Doesn't make any sense. The COVID virus in meditators feeling gratitude. COVID virus would not stick to the to the to the cells, upregulated their immune system 55%.

SPEAKER_03

I I do believe that. And you want to know it? That's also going back to that whole Vegas nerve autonomic.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, it's important, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's way bigger than I think we realize. And we do, I don't even want to use this word because I guess I'm I'm talking from me. It's like we have control, and it's almost like we need to let go of that control. It's it's like we have to let go of that control in order to let our bodies do what it needs to do.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah. Awesome. Thanks for being on. Any last thoughts? Any words of wisdom?

SPEAKER_03

The only word of word of words of wisdom I would say is, and I think probably your audience is already like this, or they wouldn't be here listening to you, is to just always try to be curious, just stay curious, and it'll take you places to where you need to be.

SPEAKER_06

Awesome. A livingbalance.net. Check her out, Miss Cindy. She's also on Instagram, hold by detox show. We'll have all the show notes, how to get a hold of her and reach out to her, get that lab checklist and reach out to her.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you, David, for having me. It was a pleasure.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I'm enjoying it. All right, till next week, my friends. Have a blessed week.
