How long could we actually live—and more importantly, how well could we live? In this episode of The Whole by Detox Show, David DeHaas sits down with longevity advocate and People Unlimited founder James Strole to explore the connection between lifespan, healthspan, mindset, purpose, and the human body’s potential.

James challenges the traditional belief that aging and death are simply inevitable limitations. He discusses his philosophy of “reprogramming” the way we think about aging, the potential role of telomeres and emerging longevity technologies, and why maintaining vitality may require more than supplements, biohacking, and physical detoxification.

FAQ 1: Can mindset really affect how we age and how well we live?
James argues that our beliefs about aging, death, and our own limitations can influence how we approach life and health. He emphasizes moving beyond a survival-focused mindset and developing a stronger sense of purpose, vitality, and possibility.

FAQ 2: What role do telomeres play in longevity?
The conversation discusses telomeres—the protective ends of chromosomes—and how their shortening is associated with aging. James also discusses research into telomerase and emerging technologies he believes could extend healthy lifespan in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can mindset really affect how we age and how well we live?

Yes, our beliefs about aging and death strongly influence our health. Cultivating a positive, purpose-driven mindset helps move the body out of a survival state and supports overall vitality.

What role do telomeres play in longevity?

Telomeres are the protective end caps of our chromosomes that shorten as we age. Researchers are exploring telomerase and emerging technologies to lengthen telomeres and potentially reverse aspects of aging.

Who is James Strole and what is People Unlimited?

James Strole is a longevity advocate, the author of 'The Gospel of Longevity,' and the founder of People Unlimited, an organization dedicated to radical life extension and overcoming the limits of aging.

How can someone begin to reprogram their thinking about aging?

Reprogramming aging starts by recognizing the subconscious societal programming around death and replacing it with a strong sense of purpose, daily gratitude, and a belief in the potential for an extended, healthy lifespan.

Jesus said uh I think one of the most amazing things he said was that when you're born of of the woman, okay, out of the womb, your days are numbered and filled with trouble. So what is he saying there? We're born into that world. We're destined in this in that in this world to have all these troubled things happen. You know, and that's why he's talking about what he later talked about being reborn out of it. He wasn't talking about overthrowing Rome and uh when they asked him to or creating an army. He said, I'm talking about a different world. You know, a world that we can be born into out of that world. So we're born into a world filled with trouble and the days are numbered. You know, who who has ever beat it? Who's ever who's ever conquered it? No one. Not the best philosopher, not the best conqueror. We keep going into wars. We this should tell us through history, we're not gonna change this world. The best have tried. You know, we have to be born out of it. That doesn't mean we're born out that we're born out for people. It means that we're born out of that system, that program. And that's where the awakening of the soul comes in to end. That we're awakened the soul. And the soul then is a whole, we're living then from a whole different world. We're not subject to that world anymore. I use a term to my people or to my uh group I have here, to organization. I tell them after every event, I said, walk on water now. You know, walk above the troubled waters. When your soul is awakened, you're not walking in the troubled waters anymore, which causes sickness and aging and death all the time.

And this week on the Whole Body Detox Show, my special guest is James Stroll, who's going to be talking with us about health span, lifespan. We're going to talk about how we can lengthen and live well, which we talk a lot about in this show. It's not about living long, it's about living well. But you're, James, you're saying that we can live a lot longer than we think we can. Is that correct? Welcome to the show, by the way.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly. In fact, you know, uh thank you, Debbie, for having me on your show and and thank you for the work you're doing at your clinic there. And uh are you located in San Diego or where are you? Boise, Idaho. Oh, I'm sorry, Boise, Idaho. Okay. I'm I've been I talked to a guy this morning who wants me on his podcast in San Diego. So yeah, you know, it's interesting because uh I've been in this field now for 50 years and and longevity, and I'm director of the Coalition for Radical Life Extension. And uh so I see you know all kinds of scenarios and feedback around longevity. And a lot of people will say, and I understand that, they'll say, oh, you know, uh it's you know more important to have vitality and strength, even if you only live, you know, to say 90 or whatever, than it is to live in some decrepit state. And that is really true. All right. At the same time, you know, it's they'll say, okay, uh, a good life, you know, you can have a good life during that time. You know, my question to everybody is, can we really have what's what a really good life? Knowing that all the time we face aging and death. My response is to that, and I'm open for conversation on that, is no, because we are traumatized by aging and death more than we even think. It it stunts our growth, it poisons the well of living. And so until we break the barrier, until we break this tyranny of aging and death that we've been plagued with as human beings, we'll never have the good life that we really want in our soul, from our heart. And so that's my question to everybody, and that's the conversation I'm introducing in my book, uh, you know, uh Gospel of Longevity. And thank you again for having me on the show to introduce this because it it's a it's a story of my uh journey during these 50 years that I've been in this field, and I think it can help people get in more in touch who want to live, what it means to really live with vitality and strength, and really how you can get there.

SPEAKER_02

You know, that's interesting. So, what I'm hearing it's interesting from a couple of standpoints. I'm 68 years of age, and I'm in really good health compared to where I was when I was at 28 years of age. Yeah, yeah. And my I got a mom that's in uh memory care and or as I call it assisted living, where people just go to, you know, die. Yeah, call them death warehouses, basically. The food's horrible, it's not great. So the big question I hear, what you're saying, is that we have this oh my gosh, you're almost 80, you're almost 75, you're 70, you know, things are slowing down, you better slow down. So y what y'all hear you're saying in here is that there's a huge underlying current of how we think about aging.

SPEAKER_03

Well, well, exactly. I mean, so you know, again, people want to have a a great life. Everybody does, whether they, you know, achieve that or not. But the question is, are we ever going to really have a good life, what we call a great life, okay, with this with a tyranny of aging and death weighing on our shoulders? And I don't think so. I because just what you brought up now, your mother in a in a you know, nursing home, basically. And and I've seen that with my mother. I've seen it with, I had an experience at 11 years old, losing my grandmother, my first experience with death, and nothing was pretty about it. It traumatized me at 11 years old. We're all traumatized, whether you realize it or not, from aging and death. We see our loved ones die. We we see people who are filled with life and and and and you know great in great knowledge and uh and vitality at one time deteriorate. And this this traumatizes us at a very deep level. And we we find coping mechanisms for it. This is what we do, you know, we find ways to cope with it, but it it bears weight upon our shoulders, you know, and and so I don't think we can really have this great life that we should have without conquering aging and death.

SPEAKER_02

You know, it's interesting. Uh I can think in my mind right now, my grandm, my mom and grandmother lived to be 105. Yeah. And she wasn't necessarily in the best of health, she got around fine, but she was happy. Yeah. Uh there was longevity in her genes. Her mother lived to be 103, but she was happy, she was connected spiritually. You know, in her, she finally had to go into a nursing home, she ran out of money. And but, you know, she's for example, when she went in there, she says, Hold on, we pray before we eat. And so from then on, in the nursing home we trade. And I'd go into her room and talk to her, and she'd just break out in song, singing, Jesus loves me, this, I know. She, I just got from her that she was very happy. My grandfather, her husband, checked in the hospital at age 80. He really he had a few things going on, nothing big, but he says, No, it's been a good life. I'm ready to go. He checked in the hospital within two weeks, he was dead. Wow. Wow. Two completely different. So my grandma outlived him by I think 25 plus years. But it was just interesting. There's one thing about, you know, how we take care of our bodies. But I just think that that mindset, I think it's what you're alluding to, is is really key. And it's that's something I've been studying for a long time as well.

SPEAKER_03

Well, well, yes, thank you for saying that because it's it's really real. I mean, too often, as you know, uh in our world today, technology is exponentially growing at amazing rates, okay? Uh the the unfortunately, the technology has surpassed our humanity, you know, in my mind. We see this all the time. And this is this is a threat in the context that doesn't mean we have to stop the expansion of technology. It means we need to upgrade, reset our humanity, you know, and because if we don't, we're gonna end up, you know, like AI, for example, one of the big concerns is that it can, you know, be used as powerful weapons to destroy our humanity, you know. And so what do we need to do as human beings to make sure that doesn't happen? We have to grow our humanity. We have to understand the value of human life like we never had before, so we quit destroying each other. Otherwise, we'll we'll do that. We'll end up blowing ourselves up. So, so this, what I write about in this book, because I've been in this field for so long and I've done all the, you know, body, I've I've been a biohacker from a young age, doing things that, you know, I was fortunate to have a mother who was into health, and and I was doing these things way before, you know, it became popular. And that's why I do what I do now. And I'm very healthy. Uh, I'm 77, you know, and I'm uh strong. I can do uh everything I want, pickleball, ride bikes, you know, whatever, get in the floor with my grandchildren, play. And so that's a wonderful thing to have. That's that's that's that's a gift, right? But this is the way it should be with us as human beings. And but we we are not in touch with our souls. Now, speaking of Jesus, you mentioned Jesus, you know, Jesus said when he was asked why he was on came, you know, by Nicodemus 2,500 years ago, he said, I've come to bring a kingdom on earth now. You know, and I'm talking now for Jesus from a longevity standpoint, not the religious concept of him. But he said, I'm here to bring a kingdom now. He said, Eat of my flesh and drink of my blood and you shall have eternal life. Well, what was he meaning by that totally? We already had spiritual life going on. People were sacrificing themselves and dying way before him and thinking they're going to a spirit world somewhere, you know, and going to heaven or whatever, and wanting to get to paradise. But he was saying, I'm the end of sacrifice, you know, I'm the I'm I'm here to bring a kingdom on earth now. And what did he mean? I think I think something was hugely missed there by, and I understand why. That's that's the indoctrination that was there at that time, but we're still indoctrinated to sacrifice ourselves in the forest system. We're still indoctrinated to to not really be in touch with our soul and just create, you know, beld, beld, beld things and not be in touch with our with who we really are as human beings. So we lived a short amount of time, really. It's very short, right? I mean, you're 69, I think you said I'm saying it went by so fast, right? I mean, here we are. It feels like yesterday, I was just in high school, you know? So, so now, you know, we're faced with, and we're in survival all the time. We're always in the survival. We never get a chance to really know who we really are because of that. So, my book is about what I'm speaking about is there's a getting in touch with our soul that takes us out of survival into an era of creativity and health.

SPEAKER_02

How how long you know, you look back in the Bible, there was people living seven, eight hundred years. I've read some books. Have you read the book Master Teachers of the Far East?

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

They talked about some people in there that were six, seven hundred years old. Yes.

SPEAKER_03

How long can we live and live well? Well, I think, well, look, I mean, it's already proven that a human being can live to 126. They've done that. And if we can go to 126, why not 130? You know, if 130, why not 150? It's all, it's all perpetual from then. Ray Kerswell said, you know, the great uh Edison of our time, he said, uh live long enough to live forever. What does he mean by that? Well, exponentially, there's new innovations, technology coming along all the time, faster and faster. Right now, and a lot of people aren't aware of it. There's innovations that are available to stay healthy and but with vitality, no matter what age you are now, if you apply them. But that doesn't mean you can live unlimited lifespans, but they're coming. Eventually we'll have innovations, you know, gene therapies, et cetera, that will reverse aging. And that's the world I'm excited about because we, like I say, we need to be able to conquer aging and death to get us out of the era of survival.

SPEAKER_02

What limits, besides the toxicity, what what limits in our body do we have right now that program us to die at you know 80, 90, 100? What what what's your thoughts there?

SPEAKER_03

Well, one of the main therapies, but most, you know, a lot of scientists, one of my top geneticists feel is like is it link is the shortening of telomeres. You know, telomeres are the end caps of your chromosomes, and as they as they shorten, your lifespan becomes, you know, that that's where you de you age, and eventually, as they shorten more and more, you die. You know? So they're working on gene therapy now, many of these scientists, to lengthen telomeres with telomerase and and be able to actually ether them 100%, which theoretically can reverse aging. So that's one of the biggest reasons that I think is really real. Also we're dealing with toxicity, of course, in the world. And we're dealing with the program of death that you were talking about earlier, the mindset that's in the body. We think we have to die. I mean, you know, we can't most people can't imagine living over 100 years if that long. You know, well, why not? Why can't we imagine that? If we can imagine going to the moon, we can get to the moon, we can do some of these amazing things we do. Why not can't why can't we break through the death barrier? Well, they see people dying all around them. They see their loved ones die, so they think it's inevitable. And we've been dying for thousands and thousands of years. Well, we didn't fly for thousands and thousands of years, but we flew, right? You know? And all so so there's pot these possibilities are all there, but it's about working together to create them.

SPEAKER_02

2009, I was at a conference and I don't remember the doctor's name, but he had a product that prevented the telomeres from shrinking. It was 500 bucks a month. I really wanted it so bad, but I knew that my budget didn't afford it, and I didn't think any of my clients would be able to afford it either. There was another company that came out with one, and I've been taking it for years. They don't, you know, you know, it's basically to help. When the study they did with that, they did with mice, and the mice that got the product outlived their brothers like by 30 years.

SPEAKER_03

Wow. Yeah, I think you're talking about I can't remember the name, but but the person I'm talking about now, the scientist, Dr. Bill Andrews, Sierra Science, he helped create that that subject. Okay. Yeah. And now he has another one called Telebital, which is supposed to be better than that. It's called Telebital. All right. You can get that for about $59 a bottle.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Yeah. I think the one you're talking about used to be like $250 or $300 a bottle. I don't know what it is now, but now he helped create that. Now he's that now he's created this one with this company, and I take it. You know, so there's up Telebottle.

SPEAKER_02

The yeah, the one I have is called Age Lock Age Lock, I think. Yeah. Anyway, yeah, I mean it was just I've always been, you know, tied into, you know, how's my telomeres doing? So how do after I heard that, I was like, the first thing you should say to each other, how are your telomeres?

SPEAKER_03

Rather than saying, how's your, you know, what's your age, we say, How's your telomeres? What's the length of your telemetry?

SPEAKER_02

Nothing is more exciting than seeing a client shed their diseases and symptoms caused from accumulated toxins from the chemicals in our foods, the clothes we wear, and the air we breathe, than by cleansing through colon hydrotherapy and treating the whole body naturally. Here's what a few clients had to say about their experience at Living Waters Wellness Center.

SPEAKER_01

Hey guys, my name is Dana. I came to Living Waters because I was in a very bad accident 20 years ago. I broke 12 bones and uh they took my my spleen out and appendix out. Then they had to put me on medication for pain. I got addicted to it and it was very bad. But when I came to Living Waters and started the cleansing in every way, not only chronic cleansing, each day I have been able to cut one full dose, and that's huge because my craving got less. I'm pain-free, I feel better, and very grateful to Wendy and David. And thank you, Living Waters.

That's 208-3789911. The preceding examples may not be typical of your experience, may not be right for you. Talk to a healthcare professional and see if cleansing is right for you. Yeah. Yes. Are they burning slow or are they burning fast? Yeah. So, but what I hear you saying is that uh that often, you know, we've we've treated this, we're gonna die anyway. Any and I got so many of my friends, you know, I used to have my 50th class reunion, and most people were retired or retiring, and I'm working harder and more than I ever have, even when I was in four my I was 40 years old, I'm working more. And I like what I do, and I love what I do, and you know, I work until 10 o'clock at night and then go home. Right. And I don't have a problem with that. I mean, I I I enjoy it. It's not a it's not a I I don't, you know, it's not like I'm clock out, but you know, I take pretty good care of my body after I, you know, reversed all the sickness I had years and years ago through cleansing and so forth and all the other things. Right. So where how do you so you how do you blend in the mindset? What what's one of the one things you'd say to people, this is what you gotta be thinking every day, so you're not causing your body to age faster. How do you what again say that? I'm sorry? How how how what kind of a what would you be saying to your body daily? How would you be talking to it to not age so fast, to keep those telemeters nice and long? What would you be?

SPEAKER_03

Well, I mean, it's always good to, you know, we we we know that, and doctors will always tell you that a patient who's more positive that walks in their office, the treatments work better, so we know that, right? And that's all good. But, you know, so positive, so a person they've proven out that a person who thinks positive about life lives longer and lives better, okay. Not always, though. I mean, there are people who are pretty pretty negative in life and they'll end up living, you know, and smoke and they'll drink and live up over 100 years off. So there are exceptions to that rule. But for me, I think the biggest thing is what I was talking about earlier, okay? It's not just about thinking positive, it's about changing your home mindset. Okay, our mindset is is for most people in the world, is programmed about around death. It evolves around death. All right, no matter what you say to them sometimes about life, they still think you have to die. In fact, you can talk to you, you can give them proof, you can show them things that that they can beat diseases, but they still, it's so deeply programmed. That's it's like why go to the bother almost, some of them that's how they take it. I'm sure you have people you've dealt with that, you know, don't believe in some of the things you do there, right? Because just because they've there's they're so programmed to the mindset that to traditional ways of doing things and they they don't open their minds for it. But so there has to be really to make a big difference, I think, from what I've seen in the human body, is to completely change the program of death in the body. And the only way to do that is to be re have a reset. It's almost like being reborn. Okay, we're born into a world of death, all of us. That's a reality. It's a death program. It's a system, it's a system of death. The world's beautiful, all right? But the system is a system we we sacrifice ourselves for. So it's so to be born out of that, and I think that's back to what I said about Jesus when you brought up Jesus, that he said you must be reborn to get into the kingdom. So what do you mean? Reborn, he said, Nicodemus said, I can't go back in my mother's womb, you know, and be reborn, you know, because that's where he's programmed. Jesus said, No, not that kind of birth. It's a rebirth of your soul. All right. And so this is why I this is what I write about in this book is what is it to mean, what does it mean to be have your soul rebirth? That you're getting in touch with really the very core of your existence. Within us, we have a power of creation we've never used. Uh, it it's Jesus was a model for that. Each of us should be are capable of walking that way, to have that, to utilize that force of creation that's in our bodies to create a world uh that that's heaven here on earth. Uh, I believe we can create heaven here on earth, you know, uh by having that reborn experience, by actually getting in touch with our soul and realizing how valuable human life is and quit playing around with the death program.

SPEAKER_02

So looking at the world today, a lot of a lot of negative stuff going on. How some people would say, you know, like my I remember my dad, my dad hit about 90, he was like, I'm done. He was hanging around to take care of my mom. So it's kind of a two-part question. Do you think that for some of us it's like, yeah, you know, I've served my purpose here on earth. I don't really don't see a reason why to stick around. And then there are probably some of us that says, you know, I got some more things I want to accomplish. How do we keep our body parts going long enough to to have our soul match that well I I actually think uh yes, that that's for for sure.

SPEAKER_03

There's a lot of people going through that type of situation. I think it's kind of the other way around. There's an awakening of the soul that can happen. Okay? And everybody has this in it in them. This isn't exclusive to anybody, you know. It's everybody has a capacity for this, but it's a matter of wanting to get in touch with, instead of just serving the system all the time, sacrificing our bodies for it, why were you really born? Why are you here? You know, what is your real purpose in life? Is it just to build a bunch of things, have children, and then die, deteriorate and die? Or is there something more that we're to do as human beings? And that's where you get in touch with the soul. A different conversation than just a just the norm that we all are into sometimes, just chasing our health, but never really believing. That we can live an unlimited life in every way. And I think that's the message that it is from our soul. And when a person gets in touch with their soul, they're they're they're they're sending a new message to their organs. They're sending a new message to their the to their physical bodies. Because right now, most people are walking around with a message of negativity of life. They can't, they don't they don't believe they can really live, you know, a hundred years old, much less 120, 130 or beyond. So they send these signals to the brain. The brain sends it to their organs. It's telling them, it's telling them all the time that they're defeated already. But this soul cry, a primal screen for life, it it's not defeated. This is the new life force that's in our bodies to be in touch with. And when that happens, it changes the whole dynamics of the body.

SPEAKER_02

What are some of the things you do on a daily basis to keep it?

SPEAKER_03

Well, I wake up in the morning. I wake up in the morning first thing, and I give thanks. I I I we'll go out, we're in sunny Arizona here, and I'll open my arms to the sun, salute the sun, be grateful for being alive, let that let the warmth of the sun, or if it's in the winter, the the the sun still be the coming of my body. That's a very powerful source of vitamin D, etc., and and energy. Uh I'll I'll say I'll give thanks to my body for being alive. Uh I'll go in immediately, then the house, you know, do all the things of brushing my teeth, washing, and at the same time stretching my body, I'll do longevity exercise. I have in my book about 30 different uh protocols that I do, that I mix up during the day. Everything from spinning to red light therapy to post bed, to a post-magnetic bed, to uh infrared sauna to swimming. I have all these, I have a lot of these at my house, and then I have a facility down the street that I that I go to three times a week and do their light bed and many other things. I do colonics, like I told you. I do exosomes, I do sim cells, I do, you know, proliferative of things that's in my book along those lines. But most of all, I have changed. What's really been powerful for me is I've changed, I've got in touch with my soul, the reason for really being alive. We have to have a big reason for being alive, or we're just, you know, without without vision, you perish. All right? I have a vision bigger than the program of death, and that really keeps me energetically going.

SPEAKER_02

So how do we get in touch with our soul? Do I have to go to a church to do that? Do I have to go on a resource?

SPEAKER_03

On the contrary, you know, nothing against church, but the church doesn't put you in touch with your soul. The church is preparing you for death. Okay? That's there's nothing wrong with that or right. I'm not condemning it, but that's what they do, that you're gonna die, your soul is gonna go to heaven. I'm saying that the soul, and that's what Jesus, I think, spoke, that the soul and the body are to integrate. That's why he said, I'm gonna awake, I came to awaken the soul, he said. And the soul being immortal, all right? The soul, that energy is immortal energy. It's the same energy in us that created the universe. So that that that immortal energy then quickens the mortal body, all right? It quickens us by the awakening of the body, it quickens us and awakens us to the immortality of the body, all right? Does it manifest total immortality of the body? Not necessarily, but it opens us up for a platform and a new program in our bodies to happen. And and the awakening is amazing. And that's what Jesus was talking about, you know. And so it's it's you don't have to go to church to get this, all right? You get this, you get this by beginning to realize that there's more to life than just you know becoming a servant to a system and then dying. You were here for a purpose, every human being. That purpose is to create a heaven here on earth. That's what Jesus is talking about, a kingdom now here on earth. Give yourself a new purpose, reset yourself, have a purpose to keep on living that's bigger than just the program that we have now that enables us to pass away and get off of so most of us don't figure out what our purpose has been. No. No, because it's big, no, because it's very covered up. I mean, you know, it's very been very diluted. You know, uh, we think we think a purpose is just to have kids and raise them, and and that's all good, that's fine. But but that's not. But then we teach our kids that. Is that all there is? I mean, I had a person come to me the other day and said and thanked me. I was I they read my book and they said, Thank, thank you. I knew there had to be more than what than just raising kids. And it was a woman who had three or four kids already, and she said, I love my kids, but I knew there had to be more. And now you've explained this to me. That this it's it's something inside of me, it's something inside of me that's crying out for life. And then she said, now I can follow that. And it's giving me new energy. New energy in this. We are we have we do, we have this force of energy in our bodies.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I totally agree with you.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Yeah. That look at you, 69. You're already, you're you're there at this clinic doing great work for people. I can tell by your by your energy, you've got good energy, you know. And and this, but we just barely tapped into this. There's an energy that's a force that's that's way beyond what we ever even dreamed.

SPEAKER_02

Thank you for bringing that up. That is so true. I think a lot of us though, I've had people kind of freak out about it sometimes. Yeah. Um, but on the other hand, I've had people come to the cleanse and you know, we do all these different steps. There's about 40 things you do over the 10 days. And I've had people that tell me, you know, David, I've been going to church for 50, 60 years, whatever. I now I now know my connection between me and God. And I go, okay, cool. How'd that happen? I don't know. But I but I do feel totally I've had many people tell you that. But you mentioned something I heard Greg Braden, you know Greg Braden, right? Yes. Yeah. So he said, um, you know, how where we came from, the stuff that things are made of. We all kind of come from that big, we're all connected, everything is so connected. And now we're you're seeing research, like I just a couple shows ago that I did, it's the phytodynes in trees that were around the forest, uh, there you know, there's that energy coming off the trees that affects us. And you know, there's all these things around us that we just we just miss because I think we're so in a hurry. And we've been taught, you know, get the 401k filled and then get your get your boat and your motor home. Yes, and go travel and see the world and everything's gonna be great. But I don't know, you look at what Mother Teresa did at age of, I think she became pretty famous around what, age 65 or something, and then went on and just I mean, what a I mean, she changed so many people's lives. So I just gotta look at some of those those things and go like, huh, this is interesting. How how do we allow ourselves to get connected and be here at the right time and in the right moment for that person or persons or for ourselves? And how does that develop us? I think that's also a key point. What why do why do we get in these i lawsuits or car accidents or break a leg? And what what what was the what was the message about that? What am I learning there? Would you is that what some of the things you're saying?

SPEAKER_03

Well, yeah, yeah. You know, again, I I have to go refer to Jesus because he I think he was one of the greatest, you know, I'll say, well, when I was in Israel and did a tour of Jerusalem, there was a guide, he was guiding us through the steps of Jesus, down through the corridors of uh Jerusalem and and and and all the sites, and he immediately turned to all of us and he said, when he went up on the mountain, he's he's pointed out that different synagogues and the churches all around, and he said, Jesus, he said, was the greatest uh social reformist of all time. You know, and uh uh that's how he put it, you know. And I think there's there was something there. He Jesus said, uh I think one of the most amazing things he said was that when you're born of of the woman, okay, out of the womb, your days are numbered and filled with trouble. So what is he saying there? We're born into that world. We're destined in this in that in this world to have all these troubled things happen. You know, and that's why he's talking about why he later talked about being reborn out of it. That doesn't mean we're born out that we're born out for people, it means that we're born out of that system, that program. And that's where the awakening of the soul comes in.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's fascinating uh what we know, what we don't know, and what we know that is not so. Yeah. I've become aware over the years, I mean, I I've always been the curious cat, open to trying things. I read a ton of books. I've done I've been to two of Dr. Joe Dispenses retreats. Uh I'm right now reading the book Out of Bakrba Yogi for the first time. I mean, I've read a lot of stuff. And it's just interesting to me what I've noticed, just all these things, kind of clicking things together. You know, Greg Braden's, you know, talked about some of the things that's happened in the Himalayas and around the world. But what I've noticed and started to notice for myself was the synchronicities that just show up. Like maybe my maybe my I was walking with my dog and the dog got you know really upset and excited and started to bark at somebody, and maybe it's caused me to stop, you know, in the middle of the street and delayed my walk for maybe five minutes or whatever. But then but then maybe that stop for five minutes avoided me from being in a in a car or a car hitting me up the street or something. You know, all these little things that happened. I've just started paying attention to more of those over the years and going like, well, why is this happening? Why is my computer glitched? What's up with that? Why did my car not start this morning? And then later it's kind of like, uh, you know, there was a little something that happened differently than what I expected, but it was good.

SPEAKER_03

But the See, what you're talking about now, if I might insert something, is great because what you're doing when you realize those moments that, like you said, that maybe your dog stalling there for a moment, taking the moment just to, you know, reflect or be there with your dog or whoever, many to avoid an accident for you, is when you're listening to your soul. You know, you're not listening to where you think you have to be at that moment and driven by it. That's what I'm talking. Now, what if we had that 724? What if we had that all the time? So that's what I came in touch with four and a half years ago. I wasn't living, I had a great life, I was well, but I knew there had to be something more to sustain me. So I thought, what is it that I could have that could be more sustainable, that just isn't ups and downs all the time, having moments of you know, reprieve from the survival mechanism. But I could live that all the time. And so that's what being born into the soul is. Now I'm gonna have a and I'm gonna invite you, I'm gonna send you an invitation. I'm gonna have a retreat, an experience, probably the end of January sometime. I'm designing it now, uh, and I'm getting great response off of it. It's gonna evolve around my book and how to really awaken the soul. It's gonna be like a three or four-day receipt retreat, and I'm gonna inviting you to it. And then you're your guests that hear this, any of your guests that hear this. Because what it will be is it'll be a really amazing time of awakening of the soul, and you'll come out totally different. I know from my own experience, I'm working already with a lot of people here in Scottsdale, and the transformations are amazing. People from anywhere from in their 30s all the way up or 20s.

SPEAKER_00

My name is Cindy, and I came to Living Waters because of parasites. That's what I thought the main thing was. Well, it's not just all about parasites, it's about a lot of stuff: the emotional, the mental, the spiritual, the physical. It's so intertwined, I didn't realize that. I realized that there's things holding on to me that I didn't even know. And when I finally got it and learned that I need to get that disconnected, and one day I was on the bed and I was just praying, praying, praying, like, Lord help me disconnect from this. I get it. I have to let that go and that go and that go. And there was a lot of list I had, and I felt peace. It was amazing because I don't want those parasites holding on. I want those guys gone. And I did go from 14 to one this morning. Entities. It's shocking. I'm on top of the world. I I feel so energized. I'm excited. I'm happy and strong. I know physically maybe I'm not as strong as I think I am because it's such a high, you know, as far as far as the emotional goes. But I feel great, great. I am so thankful to you guys. I mean, I had a friend refer me here who had referred me here before, which I'm like, no, I'm not doing that. I thought it was weird. But when I've experienced it and how easy it is and how wonderful you guys are, it's like you're at my every beck and call. So serviced. It was a beautiful experience. Thank you, Living Waters.

SPEAKER_03

All the way up to the 80s and 90s, you know, the transformation is huge energetically. So anyway, I'm going to invite you to it and you know hope you come.

SPEAKER_02

So, you know, of course, I see I meet so many different people throughout the years, and I just from where we were 25 years ago, maybe it's because it's it's in the work I'm doing now. I'm, you know, I see a lot, a broader spectrum of people, but I've seen a lot of people over the years now going, you know, south of the border, you know, or going to Peru and doing ayahuasca.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Is that because we are we're in so such a search we need to go, we feel like we need to go and and use ayahuasca or or or do a mushroom microdosing with the mushroom, or is that why we take drugs? Is that why we do alcohol? What's what's that all about?

SPEAKER_03

You know, you know, that's a good good conversation. Um, you know, I can't some of these people, I I I know a few that, you know, have some pretty strong emotional problems and supposedly it seemed like it's helped them in some ways. But also I've seen so many that say quit doing cocaine or some other drug, you know, and now they're doing that stuff. Uh in fact, I have a I have a niece, you know, and and a granddaughter that had drug addiction early age. And now they're now they're doing all that. Now they've stopped that because they realize that all they're doing is replacing their drug addiction with those things, you know. And so I would advise people, that's again why the waking of the soul is so important, because in in us we already have the ability to get a illumination of life that doesn't have to come from some chemical, you know. We have we have this ability, but we but we live in for the most part at such a low energetic level. Getting back to energy, you know, most people most people. So they don't they don't experience these highs in their body that's natural, so they look for it outside themselves. They look for it in drugs, etc.

SPEAKER_02

So true.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And I understand that because they're because they're depressed, they don't know how else to get there. You know. But I used to, when I was in high school, you know, I I was never I was blessed by this, this feeling in my body. My friends would be all get be smoking stuff and get it, and I'd sit there and you know, I could talk to them about everything they could talk about when they were high. And they'd go, What are you on? I'd say, I said, I'm I'm I'm I'm on my spirit here, and I don't want to take something to ruin that, you know. That's how I felt about it. Doesn't mean I didn't try grass and do things like that, you know, but but I always I was always concerned about you know damaging my my natural ability, you know, to to feel the enjoyment of my body.

SPEAKER_02

Good point. And if we're deadening it with with alcohol or or or whatever, yes, we're we're not gonna get in touch with that. So going deep within, I think does that scare us? Does that just scare the human beings? We're afraid to go deep and get in touch with what's our inner being and connect with God.

SPEAKER_03

Interestingly meant to mention that that I talking to the individual today, he he he's a doctor in San Diego. That's why I thought at first you were in San Diego. Uh I I mixed you up with him. But he said that uh yes, he he's he's a psychologist, okay? Very good one, very, very uh well respected. And he said people are afraid to go to these deep conversations because they they they don't they want to just face what is today because they're because they're in survival, he said. They're in survival and they don't want to think about uh the future because it doesn't look good to them. You know, and there's no real promise of of anything really that great other than maybe death and then moving on to some other life after death that thinks greater. So yes, they're afraid to go too deep or or maybe too occupied with survival to do that.

SPEAKER_02

That was his that was his theory. I can see that, you know. Maybe we're in the middle of your spouse has an accident or you've got a deadline at work, you're worried about a takeover by you know in the company and you're losing your job. I mean, those things create a lot of fear within us. They do. So how do we stop and and and get square with that and look at the farther down the road rather than who is it that years ago there was a coach who wrote, he says we all looked at the we don't look down the we look at the bug on the windshield, we don't look farther down the road.

SPEAKER_03

That's a true story. Yeah, I've heard that I I've heard that metaphor metaphor before, it's a good one, it's a good one. Yeah. You know, again, uh it's like I was talking about earlier that to have a purpose that's bigger than just survival. Otherwise, you know, you're trapped in it. I think there's so many different things that people do, yoga, you know, all kinds of different innovations and and therapies that are great, you know. But for the most part, it doesn't break the pattern all the time. They should they try to use you know that people try to escape into maybe some island somewhere uh to get away from the hustle bustle, but then they but then they take the chemistry with them, right? Like the old saying, you can take the boy out of the hills, but you can't take the hills out of the boy. So that chemistry is in them. And again, uh from my experience, you know, that's why, again, I've gone where I've gone in a deep calling in my own body to get in touch with a different whole program. And because there's a different program that exists in us, and again, it's that force of creation that gives us a bigger purpose, and that bigger purpose then takes us out of the mundane uh of life.

SPEAKER_02

And your butt your book will walk us through how to do that?

SPEAKER_03

Yes. Yes. The book is the I guess it's a gospel blanket, but you can get it on Amazon, many other sources. It's uh a simple book, 136 pages. I wrote, I didn't try to fill up with just a bunch of stuff. I wrote it from my heart uh with the idea of uh helping people understand and and experience a new aliveness in their bodies.

SPEAKER_02

With all the amount of toxicity they're spraying our skies, we have the chemtrails, we've got glyphosate on our foods and astrazine and all these chemicals. We're in such a chemical suit. We got 5G, now they want to bring 6G so they can tie into our bodies and radiate the hell out of us. Do we have the ability to survive all that by going internally and getting in touch? What's your thoughts there?

SPEAKER_03

I I think that's a great statement. I think we do. We have the ability, but we haven't used it yet. The human body is has a capacity, and and and plus, we're getting help too, right? You have a clinic there that helps people get rid of toxins, etc. All right? So, but but you know, we worry about, and I understand, we worry about the toxins outside ourselves, but we do but but we go along carrying a very toxic program in our bodies, you know, and as long as that toxic program dominates, it's very hard to totally cleanse out the body because you cleanse it one time and then you're still filling yourself up with this program, this way of thinking, you know, this this environment, this service to survive us that's so stressful. It fell it fills us with with with toxins, with toxic thinking. And so here we worry about everything outside, but we're not really looking inside, okay? Not saying those things aren't a concern the outside, but I also know the body functioning at full capacity, which we haven't actually established yet, but but it's capable of, can actually cleanse out anything. And many times we get help, we can get help with that too, which is great, your place. And I see there's more, you know, new innovations coming out all the time to help uh detox the body, but but the body has a tremendous capacity to do that and yes, survive any condition.

SPEAKER_02

You know what's interesting? Uh you know who Louise Hay was. Yes. She wrote a great book, You Can Heal Your Life. We use it here as our primer on the 10 day. I have some people who won't read it, or they just, and that's fine. But it's interesting how over the years, when I had people come in, I look at their intake form, I ask a lot of questions, and then I ask, you know, when did this start? When when did this occur? And there's always some event, emotional event, that created it. Yeah. And for example, this gal says, I've never been constipated, I just become constipated seven days ago. And go, what happened seven days ago? Well, I'm really stressed out. I'm going on vacation, and and my two daughters are supposed to stay with my ex-husband who I don't like and I'm really concerned about, and I'm really freaking out about it. And I says, Uh Well there you go. There you go. I said, Yeah, let that shit go.

SPEAKER_03

There's a clonged up colon, a compacted colon.

SPEAKER_02

Well, um Uh for me, it was anger all the years. I had uh I had a liver that hurt just crazy. When I first started cleansing, I did my first real tending, and I and I finally uh did did a liver cleanse and and and all of a sudden I had this this big amount of stones coming out. My liver's never hurt since. But yeah, uh we'll see it all the time. There's always a connection. I had a guy with uh throat cancer, he had a tumor on it. Why? Well, when he's a little kid, his dad told him to shut up and just listen, don't don't speak back. Wow. So we see that. But then on the other hand, I've got some people, and and usually I don't they don't get to come on the cleanse. I I hopefully I can catch them. Because if you're not ready to let go, you know, it's kind of a waste of time if you're not really ready to kind of go down that path. For example, I I don't know who the the speaker was. She was giving a conference and she talked about letting go of your stories and changing your stories, and the and then the gal looked at her and she goes, Well, well, who would I be without my story? Who would I be? And that's the question. Who would you be? Yeah, yeah. Well if you just changed your story.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Well, I'm telling everyone in my programs now to to allow themselves to reset. You know, you're not going to lose anything of what you were, okay? A reset just means you're going to you're going to design now who do you want to be? You know? And and you have the power to do that. You have the power to create. What do you need to drop? What do you need to change? What do you need to move different in your house? Maybe you need to totally move locations. Do a reset for yourself to more aliveness, to get out, to get out of the old program, to refresh in yourself. And it's amazing things happen when people do that.

SPEAKER_02

What are some of the big things you've seen happen to the people who have done this? Followed your advice in the book.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I had a I had a woman uh the other day that messaged me, and uh, this is happening all the time now. It's it's a wonderful thing to see because I look for, and I like you do, and like we all do, we really want to help people, so I look for what works, right? And so when I came upon this experience that we have this power of creation in us, I began to express it. And and I told people, just you know, and and I was saying things that were very out of the box for them. And but I said, they were bear with me on this, and we're gonna get to a new place, and they did. And more and more people now are drawn to this. But one thing I just saw yesterday that was phenomenal. Uh, it's an eighty uh five-year-old woman, and she's still working as a nurse here in Phoenix. But she was losing uh her eyesight wasn't as good, okay? And so she went into her clinic where she does, and she has to do uh she has to do injections and intravenous, you know, needle injections, and she couldn't quite see the vein as good, you know, and she was kind of having a problem getting it done. So they caught so she was afraid though of losing her job because of that, because she needs the income. So she went into the office, they called her into her into the office to kind of say, Oh, we understand you're not being able to do these, put the needle in people's arms as good. And so that worried her because you know they said you you need to get better or we're gonna have to do something. She goes home, okay, and instead of panicking, she at first she started to panic, that's a natural thing. Okay, then she then she said, Oh, wait, I'm gonna get in touch with my you know, the soul that James has been talking about to me. I'm gonna that's I'm gonna move from there instead of fear. I'm gonna let something happen in my body. And she began to just open up for that, for a transformation in her body. The next day, okay, she goes in here and she had more people to to put in to treat interveniously than ever. And she had she was able to get through all of them perfectly, all of them, one after another, you know, and she thought, oh my God, she messaged me and said, you know, look, instead of panicking, I caught up on that soul depth of me, and my eyes just seemed to, I don't know if my eyes improved, but I could just see everything, I could do all the injections, and everything was like, you know, boom, boom, boom. And so that was the most recent thing that happened. But most of us, you see, people make huge transformations out of anxiety. Anxiety is killing our our killing our world. People, so many people live in anxiety taken out of a new name and and and so many other drugs for it. But the people that because they're finding a beginning to find a rest in their soul, that that's why I say, you know, walk on water, walk above the troubled waters. And and I see more of a relaxation of people that and when we relax like that, we heal. You know, we we heal from things. We we begin to feel that when the stresses fall off, the body has a capacity then to regenerate. So I see amazing things that way.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you know, and so there's and we everyone's chasing the the supplements, the drinks. Yes. I've got a zillion, you know, we just had a conference, we call the BioHappic Conference, but I think that you know, there's a lot of tools and the all the different machines and patches and so forth. But you're right, you know, we have our our minds and our spirit and our soul, we have stability to communicate if we would just allow ourselves to do it. I think it I think it's definitely it's a a work in progress. Uh you know, I know about just my journey on it's kind of you know been I've always been fascinated about why do some people you know succeed wildly. And years ago, my daughter was like three years old, and this guy showed up kind of out of nowhere. Ha ha. Anyway, it was all meant to be. But anyway, his name was Floyd Strain, I remember the name now. And he told me a story. He says, David, he says, I was track coach, and I remember where he was a track coach. I said, but I took just average athletes, and through mindset, I coached them into becoming great athletes. And he says, I he says, I have made, and I played a lot of basketball. He says, I'm not a basketball player. He says, but I'd made 800 free throws in a row. What? Yeah, 800. He says, and I taught a guy who had never played basketball to make a thousand in a row. In fact, he was on the Johnny Carson show. This is back in 1988, this guy showed up. And I'm and I'd been, and I'm trying to make like 30 in a row. And you know what? It's so interesting because I would get to like 29 and I'd go, like, okay, we hit 30, and I'm saying, can I get to 31 and make my record? And I'd have that just a little bit of doubt, just a t-tick doubt, and then rim out. And you look at all of the great, whether it's Arnold Palmer, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, you follow Tiger Woods, when you followed them in the newspapers and you listen to what they said about their game or their event, they all had a general comment. I used to clip these out of papers. They all had a general hate. My mental game was not there today. Wasn't there physical? Wasn't there a shot enough free throws? It was my my mental. Yes. And I was going like, that's so that's so powerful. How do we how do we really get that? But it I think that's just part of the journey here is getting that mental spiritual connection and and rocking that out, yeah.

Yeah, as as the core of the of the journey. It really is. I mean, we we uh we we overlook it too much. We all know this consciously on some level. Most everybody will say it, but they but they're just almost too busy to even take the time or or link have the inclination to really trust it. We don't trust our bodies. We've been taught not to trust our bodies. Some people call our bodies uh bought the body a bag of bones and you know, and and and you know, uh a lesser, a lesser substance, a vehicle for the spirit, you know, we've always degraded the body. You know, not not not everybody. You know, there are people that like you and others that really understand the true value, you know, the body and its capacity, but we've never really magnified, we never really manifested it the way we we can now together.

I had, for me, I came up and I became a coach. I coached my kids, and being a big sports guy, I was really into basketball, and I was just fascinating because I'd take these little guys at, you know, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. And I, you know, well, I my my experience from my coaches in high school was a horrible experience. They would yell at me, you know, they were uh the the Vince Lombardi, who I think was one of the worst coaches ever because he was just an asshole to everybody. And and that you had a whole generation that grew up that that's the way you coach. Yeah, yeah. And yeah, you create a bunch of assholes for sure. Yeah. And and and they would let's like, you know, you scream at you and yell at you like, that's gonna make you better. Oh, you drop the ball, you dumb idiot. Blah, blah, blah, blah. It's like, so I took a different tact, and I'd teach my little guys at seven, eight years old how to muscle test. And I'd have them go home and teach their mom and dads. And the first thing that would happen is, and this is where, you know, kids are so great because they're not in the beta brainwave state yet at seven, eight, right? And I would say, okay, that's I teach them some fancy trick with a soccer ball, for example, or or basketball. What did it matter? And someone would say can't. They'd go, whoa, hold on, hold on. What'd you say? I said, Well, coach, I can't do this. Oh, did you hear what you said? Did you see what John said? No, no, no. John, we never say that again. If we do, everyone's it's 10 push-ups. So now everyone's attention. That's what we're gonna do. And I taught, so then I taught that the muscle testing was the fingers, and I'd have them say a positive emotion, an affirmation, and their fingers would be strong. And if it was an if they say, I'm going to try or I hope or I wish or I want, I teach this on the first day of the cleanse, too, by the way. I hope I'm well, I wish I'm well, I'm gonna try to be well, and of course the fingers break. And when they say, I am well, or I love being well, and it's a strong connection, right? It's like boom, the mind's connecting. And it's so powerful. And I would get those kids, and I would have, I mean, I'd have some kids that go like, I don't know. They might be in the wrong league, but those kids would grasp onto that. My gosh, powerful. And I would, I would, I would teach my kids things like most kids, you know, young, if you just boot the ball, you can run onto it and chase them if you're a little faster, you're gonna beat them and maybe score more goals. I would teach them the opposite. We're gonna go backwards. I'm gonna teach you how to protect the ball. I'm gonna teach you, and I would and I would tell everyone that we're gonna we're gonna protect our weakest link. What's that mean? Well, the weakest link is, and I'd have them get in the circle and pull her hands back until it would break. And I'd go, okay, so if we're not, if we're not all on the same page, we're not gonna win a game. We've got to be all connected, so we're gonna be supportive of each other. You can't ever yell at somebody. Anyway, so I had I'd coached the parents up, and it was amazing to watch these kids, you know, some kids not be able to make a layup or not be able to score a goal, all of a sudden you have control. It was just amazing how just so fresh and to see it happen in those little kids' minds. And I've always been fascinated with it. That's why I coached, I think that's why I learned so much about how to help people heal because it's the same, it's the same process, I think.

SPEAKER_03

That's beautiful.

SPEAKER_02

I'm kind of going off on a tangent there, sorry.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, don't worry. That is a beautiful story. Yeah, thank you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Well, well, I appreciate you having me on. It's been a great conversation. I love it. So get we we get the book.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And the book tells the title of the book and where we get it. A gospel of longevity. They get it on Amazon, uh Nope Bro, Noble. Uh yeah, and uh it's uh usually it comes in three or four days from Amazon, depending where you're at. And uh anybody read it, uh it will you will benefit from it. Uh feel free to contact me after you read it if you want or during your read and give me your comments because this is a conversation. I want to open up a new conversation. This book is not something that's set and cement. I'm not trying to create a new religion or new ideology. I want to create a new conversation, you know, about it. Yeah. So cool. So and how do they get a hold of it? Do you have a website? Yeah, I can go to www.peopleunlimitedinc.com. That's www.peopleunlimited. Just Google People Unlimited, it's that easy. Okay, I'm James Strohl. They can follow up there with my staff and reach me or reach my staff. They have questions. And we have events all the time here in Scosdale, all the time with People Unlimited. They can join. That's a great thing, too. We have a good follow-up. Not just this book, but follow-up with events that they can come into either virtually or in person to get to keep in this discussion. So it's a support system all the way around that enables people to really grow with this.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Fascinating. Get the book. We'll put the links in a show notes over in the podcast. Hold by D Talk Show, wherever you get your podcast.
