In this powerful and thought-provoking episode, we explore rising concerns around 5G cell tower expansion, government policy decisions, and the growing public debate over potential health risks. The discussion highlights issues of local control, regulatory changes, and the tension between rapid technological advancement and community well-being.

The show then transitions into a deep and holistic look at health—focusing on cancer, immune system function, and the critical role of inflammation in disease development. Listeners will gain insight into how the body naturally defends itself through lymphocytes such as natural killer (NK) cells, B cells, and T cells, and why maintaining a strong immune system is essential for long-term health.

Key topics include the impact of chronic stress on immunity, the importance of sleep, sunlight, and emotional well-being, and how lifestyle habits can either strengthen or weaken the body’s defenses. The episode also explores integrative and natural approaches to health, including nutrition, detoxification, gut health, and supplementation strategies like vitamin D3, zinc, and probiotics.

A major focus is placed on diet—particularly the difference between conventional and grass-fed foods—and how nutritional quality directly affects inflammation, brain health, and disease risk. The discussion connects metabolic health with conditions such as cancer, depression, and autoimmune disorders, emphasizing the importance of reducing toxic load and supporting the body at a cellular level.

Ultimately, this episode delivers a comprehensive perspective on modern health challenges—bridging environmental concerns, immune resilience, and holistic healing strategies. It encourages listeners to take a proactive role in their well-being by making informed choices that support both physical and mental health in an increasingly complex world.

And welcome everyone to today's Whole Body Detox Show. I'm David DeHaas from Living Waters Wellness Center.

David DeHaas (0:25): Living Waters Wellness Center was formed after we discovered how to heal my body from multiple symptoms, including allergies, asthma, chronic fatigue, back pain, psoriasis, acne, hives, yeast infections, and finally cancer. And I did it all naturally. After twenty years of trying numerous different treatments, medical treatments, cleanses, iridology, muscle therapy, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, naturopathy, Those experiences led us to discover that recipe that led to become known as the four natural laws of healing. Combining multiple natural healing modalities to fully detox and cleanse the body and allowing the body to take the perfect nutrition to fully restore the body back to its innate health. This became known as a ten day healing retreat.

David DeHaas (1:02): We've helped thousands of people just like you get their health restored so they can live their life to the fullest. And if you wanna learn how you can get your body back to living your best life, go livingwaterscleanse.com. Click on that link for natural laws of healing and watch the video, or call the office at (208) 378-9911. Not happy today, my friends. Got some news that I'm gonna share with you that really upsets me.

David DeHaas (1:27): I have been doing what shows now for six years going back to 2020. In 2020 is when I first learned about five g. 2020 is when I learned that they're gonna put cell towers everywhere. And I got a couple phone calls, and I got basically asked to help participate. There was 36 of us, and today now there's two of us still carrying on the work of trying to effectively get governments to put cell towers where they should be, not near homes, not on schools, at least 2,000 feet away, up in the air 200 feet.

David DeHaas (2:06): Well, as you recall, if you've been listening to this station for a long time, mayor McLean and the liberal staff at city hall said nothing to see here. We're gonna give your keys to Verizon, and they can do whatever they want. And so there is no conditional use permit like they used to be in Boise City. Not at all. And, they're putting up these little five g towers everywhere.

David DeHaas (2:29): They're about 25 feet in the air. They're on light poles. They're very tiny, but they cause a lot of harm. In fact, it's documented. And I'll talk about that in a moment.

David DeHaas (2:37): Well, anyway, Russ Fulcher, congressman Russ Fulcher has a bill before that he developed. Actually, he didn't develop it. Verizon Wireless or whoever wrote it. The industry wrote it, obviously. And what does it do is it takes away the ability for states to choose where they're gonna put cell towers.

David DeHaas (2:54): In other words, it preempts governments from determining how they want to manage and zone cell towers. It will be gone when HR twenty two eighty nine passes. And as I tape this Sunday, 04/19/2026, I found out two days ago they're having a hearing tomorrow afternoon, Monday the twentieth at 4PM, the rules to hear twenty two eighty nine. On 03/13/2026, we finally got after two years of trying to get in front of Russ Vulture. We got to talk to him finally at his office in Meridian, and that meeting went for one hour.

David DeHaas (3:34): And I thought it was a great meeting. I thought it was very productive. He listened. He first thought, you know, that some of this stuff is kinda tin hat stuff. I showed him a video of one of our clients who's very severely injured, has to wear special clothes.

David DeHaas (3:46): When she's near cell tower, she feels like someone's got her head in a vice. And there's, you know, thousands and thousands of these people like my client. In fact, I get these calls and emails and testimonies all the time. And in fact, in, 2021, RFK junior and a guy named Scott McCullough, on behalf of Environmental Health Trust and Children's Health Defense Fund, sued the FCC and said, I feel like there's 10,000 plus studies that show cause of harm. And what did the DC Court of Appeals say to the FCC?

David DeHaas (4:15): Well, they said you've been arbitrary and capricious, and you guys need to come up with some new safety studies. Have they done it? No. Because no one's holding them accountable. So, you know, this at the time, this bill, 2289, was in the commerce and and committee business and commerce committee, and it hadn't been had a hearing yet.

David DeHaas (4:33): And he says, okay. He says, I've gotta get someone who you got that's really, really smart, knows this technology in and out, and can testify for us. I says, no problem. I got several people. How about Scott McCullough, the attorney?

David DeHaas (4:45): It'd be great. And I offered up other names as well. Doctor Martin Paul, who I've interviewed on this show. Doctor Kent Chamberlain, who I've interviewed on this show. And I'll put these links in the show notes over the podcast if you wanna hear what they said about cell towers.

David DeHaas (4:58): Great. So when we left it, it was my understanding that we're gonna reach out to him and get a hearing before the committee, asking the chairman to have a hearing to hash this out on Thursday. We're in the middle of a ten day cleanse, by the way, which I'm super busy. And I came in about 05:00, and I found out that I had a phone call from Washington DC. This guy named Bob.

David DeHaas (5:22): Bob says, hey. I'm from Russ Vulture's office, and I've worked in industry, the wireless industry, for fifteen, I think, fifteen years, he said, said, for the MTIA, which is the industry lobby firm, which means they have their marching orders as the lobbyist would. He says, David, there's nothing to see here. Look. There's nothing we can do about this.

David DeHaas (5:42): There is no cause of harm by cell towers. We've got hundreds of studies that have been proven these things do not cause any harm whatsoever. And furthermore, David, did you know that the big beautiful bill that in that bill, we're going to auction off licenses for five g and six g? We're rolling out the big connectivity bill. And David, you know how much that's worth?

David DeHaas (6:04): There's no. He says worth $85,000,000,000. So I'm listening to this. I'm thinking, great. This is a call to tell David to go jump, you know, pee up a rope.

David DeHaas (6:14): We're you're you're not gonna get your hearing. Nothing we can do. Sayonara. Well, that five minute phone call went for forty six minutes, and it got preheated. And then I laid out for him the facts, the facts that he didn't know.

David DeHaas (6:30): He said, well, David. And by the way, I went through all the court cases. I went through all the documents on cause of harm, and he didn't know about the lawsuit, the FCC lawsuit. Right? And he says, well, David, there'd be thousands of lawsuits if people were getting harmed.

David DeHaas (6:43): There'd be thousands of lawsuits everywhere. I said, You don't know about seven zero four. He goes, seven zero four? What's seven zero four? That's the code section that gives immunity of liability from the cell tower companies.

David DeHaas (6:54): They can't be sued for causing damage to my health. I said, Bob, you go to the heads of the industry, the chairman of the board of all these wireless companies, and you get them to sign off tomorrow at 704. Tell them, take away we'll take away 704 out of the code, and you guys can have your preemption in this bill, and you can put your towers anywhere you want because what's gonna happen is you guys your those tower comp those companies are gonna be in court tomorrow fighting off these lawsuits that are coming out left and right. Get back to me on that. Then I asked him several times, why can't the people deserve a hearing?

Unknown Speaker (7:39): Why can't they deserve a hearing, Bob? And then he says, he was gonna go I could tell he has no he he just you know, he's been listen. The guy's been in the industry fifteen years. I've listened to these guys. I've heard this story over and over.

David DeHaas (7:52): There's no such thing as cause of harm. But why can't we have been great. Take away the immunity of liability. Get rid of seven zero four. I'm great with that.

David DeHaas (8:02): Well, you know, it's interesting. In that meeting, Russ told us that he did not know it wasn't his intention to take away Idaho's rights to legislate where they go. I thought, okay. Great. Obviously, industry wrote the bill.

David DeHaas (8:16): I guess he didn't read it that thoroughly. I don't know. But I'm pretty upset about the whole thing as you can tell. And so, tomorrow's Monday, I put in all the calls. I've called everybody I can think of in the state, and I've reached out to his office and to him and anybody that's close to him.

David DeHaas (8:31): And I've sent long, a letter. I've sent documents. I've sent all the links to the the you name it. I've put it out there. And then I'll put these all these links in the show notes over in the podcast Whole Body Detox Show.

David DeHaas (8:44): What do we talk about all the time? Reduce the inflammation. How do you do that? You reduce the toxicity. How do you do that?

David DeHaas (8:50): We gotta begin with colon hydrotherapy. You gotta get the pipes open. Let's clean up the tissues. It's gotta have a place to drain all the sewer, the toxins, the heavy metals, the parasites. It's gotta have a place to go.

David DeHaas (9:01): Okay. How to support them? Well, what Rawliss recommends is several treatments, supplements, and lifestyle habits, including intravenous vitamin c, mistletoe therapy, vitamin d three, probiotics, and an anti inflammatory diet. And that means you gotta go organic. Fasting, especially important during chemo, and then, of course, zinc, astragalus, and reishi.

David DeHaas (9:22): Of course, on this program, we've done many shows talking about cancer, and there's other things like curcumin, reishi max from the reishi mushroom. Juicing is important. And, of course, as doctor Seafried talked about, we had, his, training on the show about, what, ten, twelve weeks ago. We had her on. And, you know, as a as a metabolic condition, what is your diet like?

David DeHaas (9:45): Okay. So daily habits make a meaningful difference in supporting the health and numbers of our lymphocytes, strengthening our immune system, and building long term resilience. Then he goes on to write, these foundations are not guarantees, but establishing early ideally in childhood and adolescence pays dividends for decades. Well, of course, getting enough sleep. Sleep promotes production of immune cells, including lymphocytes, reduces stress hormones, such as cortisol.

David DeHaas (10:08): So if you're in an industry where you're stressed all the time, you're, you know, you're you're putting your body at risk, right, that inhibits the T cell function and their ability to recognize and attack pathogens. Now you get a virus and or some other bacterias in the body and your body is trying to take care of it, well, you're gonna have some problems if you're not well rested, if you're not doing meditation, if you're not doing some of these things to help regulate your stress, which he goes on to talk about. When high cortisol levels, they actually diminish the total amount of white blood cells, inhibit their production, promote the destruction of T cells, and shifts the balance of the immune system towards inflammation. There's that word again, inflammation. So evidence suggests that mindfulness, my meditation, social support, and psychotherapy.

David DeHaas (10:53): We teach a thing on our cleanse called heart coherence. And if you recall a few, oh, about five months ago, we had a gal with cancer, stage four, and she did went through and used some of our emotional techniques, and she was able to completely collapse her tumor after doing lots of other things that didn't result in that. Talk about that more in a minute when I come back. I'm David Dahas from Living Waters Wellness Center where miracles begin by healing from within. Learn more about it livingwaterscleanse.com.

David DeHaas (11:19): Watch the video, the four natural laws of healing. And by the way, this week, I'm gonna be talking out at Horizon Credit Union on 5510510 Mile at 6PM. If you're interested in getting a ticket for that event, reach out to me and I'll get you a free ticket. Contact the office, (208) 378-9911. So if you wanna come out and talk to me and meet, me and see what I have to talk about, colon hydrotherapy detoxifying the body, then you're gonna want to come to this event at the Horizon Credit Union fifty one zero five ten mile, Thursday, the twenty third at 6PM.

David DeHaas (11:55): And I'm not the only speaker. We have doctor Marissa Shepherd, talking about body balancing physical therapy, and then doctor Randy Macao, who is gonna be talking called generations health and healing total body wellness. He's gonna be talking about, are you fighting your own body? And doctor Marissa is talking about energetics of the pelvic health. Don't wanna miss it.

David DeHaas (12:18): Nothing is more exciting than seeing a client shed their diseases and symptoms caused from accumulated toxins from the chemicals in our foods, the clothes we wear and the air we breathe, then by cleansing through colon hydrotherapy and treating the whole body naturally. Here's what a few clients had to say about their experience at Living Waters Wellness Center.

Richard (12:34): My name is Richard. I came to Living Waters because I was low on energy and for my memory, and I've accomplished both. Living Waters did it for me. Thank you, Living Waters.

Beata (12:44): My name is Beata. I came to Living Waters Wellness because also I have problem with carpal tunnels. And now I move my hands. It doesn't hurt. I don't feel tension.

Beata (12:55): So thank you.

Unnamed Client 1 (12:55): I came into Living Waters because I've suffered with allergies and asthma my whole life. I was recently diagnosed with EoE, which is where your food gets stuck in your esophagus from high eosinophils in my blood. Since I've been here, I have more energy. I have no hardly any mucus, and I can think more clearly. I feel better.

Unnamed Client 1 (13:18): My skin feels better. Thank you, Living Waters.

Unnamed Client 2 (13:20): I came to Living Waters because I've had a persistent rash on my face for two years. I also have migraines that go along with my menses. I have brain fog, lack of focus and motivation, and I'm on medicine for thyroid and my pituitary gland. Since coming to Living Waters, I no longer have my rash. I do not have any sugar cravings, and I have lots of motivation and focus.

Unnamed Client 2 (13:42): Thank you, Living Waters.

Unknown Speaker (13:43): To learn more about the ten day healing retreat, go to livingwaterscleanse.com. That's (208) 378-9911.

Unknown Speaker (14:00): The preceding examples may not be typical of your experience, not be right for you.

David DeHaas (14:03): Talk to a healthcare professional and see if cleansing is right for you. Welcome back to the show, David DeHaas from Living Waters Wellness Center, where miracles begin by healing from within. Today, we're gonna talk about cancer. We're gonna talk about the price of beef. Is cheap beef worth the price?

David DeHaas (14:17): So stay tuned for that. But right now, wanna talk a little bit about cancer, and, you know, that's always a scant a scary word when we get the big c. I've had it twice. I've overcame it both times doing it naturally. But there's some key terms I think would be very smart for you all to know and how the body actually what it does as far as the defense mechanisms.

David DeHaas (14:38): How is the body working for you? Well, I found a great article written by Emma Sutty in the Epic Times. And if you're not getting the Epic Times, I don't know what you're reading for news. Maybe you're not. Maybe you're just watching on social media.

David DeHaas (14:53): But it's a really good paper and I highly encourage everyone to subscribe to it, support the Epic Times. And, so let's talk about how does the body work? How does it defend against these cancer cells? What's really happening to me? Well, thinking I know there's three main types of lymphocytes, Natural killer cells or, as we call them, NK cells, that's the body's first line of defense.

David DeHaas (15:13): B cells produce antibodies to fight infections and attack invaders such as viruses and bacteria. And T cells attack cells in our bodies that have been infected by viruses or have become cancerous. Now the NK cells, natural killer cells, act quickly, and they identify and destroy cells infected with viruses and those with early signs of cancer. And they are crucial to the innate immune system's defense against the threats such as infections and tumors, but they do not rely on having encountered a pathogen or harmful cell before. They destroy potential threats without prior exposure.

David DeHaas (15:47): In other words, whoop, we see it. Bam. We're taking it out. In order for the lymphocytes to recognize and attack cancer, three things need to happen. According to doctor Ignacio Gonzalez Granato, what a name, a researcher and clinical immunologist, first, they have to clearly recognize the cancer cells look abnormal.

David DeHaas (16:05): If the tumor looks too much like a normal tissue, they ignore it. Second, for a T cell to become fully activated, it needs to receive antigen recognition signals and co stimulatory signals. Those two signals serve as a safety mechanism to prevent the body from accidentally attacking its own tissues. Well, cancer takes advantage of this by using immune system's off switch. When the off switch is activated, the immune system is told to stand down, tolerate the cancer rather than kill it.

David DeHaas (16:35): It's a process called tolerogenesis. So even though the body detects cancer, it chooses tolerance over attack because it's trying to avoid harming the body. Third, the tumor microenvironment can weaken or exhaust immune cells, preventing them from functioning properly. This environment can induce chronic inflammation, recruit suppressor cells such as regulatory T cells, and release inhibitory cytokines that signal to dampen the immune response. An effective lymphocyte is one of those that recognize a truly abnormal antigen, receives adequate activating signals, and does its job rather than transforming itself into tollogenic, chronically suppressed or exhausted cells, Gonzales told the Epic Times.

David DeHaas (17:16): However, cancer cells are clever and can adapt to evade the immune system in multiple ways, which includes hiding, disguising themselves as normal cells, and creating an environment that is hostile to immune cells. So there's two broad philosophies when it comes to treating cancer. They are fundamentally different in their approaches, conventional cancer care and immunotherapy. Well, generally speaking, conventional treatments include surgery, radiotherapy, and, of course, chemotherapy. We've all heard of that.

David DeHaas (17:41): Right? Well, the primary goal is to induce damage into the tumor tissue directly. As collateral damage, they often eliminate lymphocytes leading to temporary immune suppression. So now, basically, your guards are down. Right?

David DeHaas (17:54): Immunotherapy takes the opposite approach. Rather than attacking the tumor directly, it works to restore and enhance the immune system's own ability to recognize and destroy cancer cells. In other words, let's let's be able to see those guys so we can take them out. But with lymphocytes at the center of that effort, both strategies are increasingly combined using conventional treatments to reduce tumor burden and then immunotherapy to maintain long term immune control. One of the keys to a cancer patient's survival is maintaining his or her lymphocytes, says Steve Rallis, a doctor of naturopathic medicine with a clinical focus on integrative care.

David DeHaas (18:28): Specifically, he highlights the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio, a figure derived from a standard blood test. So as a predictor of both overall and progression free survival. He describes it in his detail a book called When Oranges Became Apples, What Your Oncologist Won't Tell You About IV, Vitamin C, Cancer. The ratio should ideally sit between two and three. Have you guys ever heard about this before?

David DeHaas (18:51): Probably not. And that's true across a lot of different cancers like breast cancer, lung, colorectal, pancreatic. The ratio is really, really important. Neutrophils are the most abundant immune cells and the first to respond to infection or injury. In cancer patients, rising neutrophil counts largely driven by inflammation while lymphocyte levels fall, left unaddressed, that imbalance has serious consequences.

David DeHaas (19:14): Well, chronic inflammation fuels cancer by damaging DNA, accelerating tumor growth, aiding metastasis by releasing cytokines and growth factors. Inflammation creates a tumor promoting environment, microenvironment that stimulates the formation of new blood vessels and suppresses immune surveillance. And if you don't support the lymphocytes, ultimately, it's gonna be fatal for the patient. In other words, my friends, you know, just take some time for space. In our lives, we are gonna upregulate.

David DeHaas (19:45): And doctor Joe Dispenza has proven this. In their studies, they showed that the COVID virus would not stick to the cells in people practicing heart coherence, which we talked about in episode one sixty three with doctor Deborah Rosman of HeartMath Co, Institute. Okay. One of other things it talks about is getting sunlight exposure. I just did that this afternoon.

David DeHaas (20:03): Felt great. I was so tired, went late in the sun, fell asleep. I get naked in my backyard. I I go to sleep or or chill out, listen to some music, and about a half hour or so. And, no, I don't use sunscreen.

David DeHaas (20:17): Never use sunscreen. Only I use sunscreen if I'm on the water for a long time. Other than that, I I'm eating all organic foods, so I'm not eating toxic foods, which would cause me to get sunburned. Am I exercising? Exercise is important.

David DeHaas (20:30): Eat well. Supplements. I take vitamin supplements a whole handful every day. Vitamin D three is really important. A study in 2022 in patients with COVID nineteen found that when compared with a placebo, supplementing with vitamin D three significantly increased lymphocyte counts.

David DeHaas (20:48): Now how do you get vitamin d three for free? Well, you get your butt out into the sun literally for your belly. Also, zinc. Zinc plays a role in enhancing the immune system. And gut health matters.

David DeHaas (21:03): Get this. In this article, 78% of the body's total immune cells reside in the gut. It's not David saying that. That's this expert. Probiotics generally support the immune system and natural killer cells activity, and they should contain between 30,000,000,050 colony forming units.

David DeHaas (21:24): And that number indicates a potency and concentration of beneficial bacteria per dose. Of course, avoiding toxins such as tobacco, alcohol, environmental pollutants. Very, very important for that. So, yes, I take I take a very good base supplement. I call it my life assurance program.

David DeHaas (21:43): Been taking this particular product for since 1992. I don't go a day without it. We have a device here we can measure antioxidant status in real time in the body. Call the office, (208) 378-9911. Use the code word PRIZM.

David DeHaas (22:02): I'll give it to you for free. It's a $30 charge normally, but, give us a call. You need to check out your antioxidant status. Okay. So lymphocytes are only one aspect of the complex landscape of cancer treatment, but they're very critical for overall health.

David DeHaas (22:22): So the word of the day is keep your lymphocytes up. Your NK and T cells, you you can just visualize these little guy down there punching things out, knocking things out. Right? Gotta keep them up, my friends. So drinking good a lot of quality water.

David DeHaas (22:35): Don't drink out of a plastic bottle. Don't drink out of stainless steel. Drink out of glass. Clean water. Invest in a filtration system.

David DeHaas (22:44): Too funny. Silly David. I just realized this program's gonna air after I I'm, gonna speak on the twenty third. So, by the way, we're gonna tape it. So we'll post that someplace on our YouTube channel or on our Facebook and Instagram.

David DeHaas (22:59): So stay tuned. I'll I'll share where that's posted. There's gonna be three of us speaking. So, anyway, we'll be back in a moment. I'm David Dahas from Living Waters Wellness Center where miracles begin by healing from within.

Unknown Speaker (23:10): Nothing is more exciting than seeing a client shed their diseases and symptoms caused from accumulated toxins from the chemicals in our foods, the clothes we wear, and the air we breathe, than by cleansing through colon hydrotherapy and treating the whole body naturally. David DeHaas (25:35): Randy, I think, Macao? Anyway, he's talking about, are you fighting your own body? And then I'll be talking and uncovering why it's just more than a poop pipe. Surprise. Right?

David DeHaas (25:48): Anyway, back, we're talking about lymphocytes today on the show. And as we mentioned, one of the things we talk about before we left there, I mentioned Lisa's amazing journey. Getting lymphocytes and keeping your NK and T cells and keeping them up stress every I ask everyone when did the x y z start? Always a stressful emotional event. Always.

David DeHaas (26:14): You don't have a physical problem ever. You had a stressful event. Lost your boyfriend, got a divorce, got abused, got attacked, lost your job, had to move. Your boss told you you're a freaking idiot. I mean, you know, there's there's some kind of event that triggered it all.

David DeHaas (26:32): So it just happened to Lisa when she was two, end up having cancer at about 55 years of age, did chemo and radiation, had surgery, had it repeated again two years later, Another repeat two years later. So she had three body parts taken out, lots of chemo radiation. They spent a lot of money doing some very nat great physical things, spent a lot of money doing it, but was told, you know what? We can't do anything more about the tumor. It's the size of a tennis ball and nothing we can do.

David DeHaas (27:02): And then she heard about us and said, what if? What if it does work? Her friend encouraged her. She talked to me. She joined us on a ten day healing retreat last summer.

David DeHaas (27:12): And I took her through a process. And one of the process is getting your heart and your brain alignment, de stressing, focusing internally. And I walked her through a thing I call life journey. We came out of that. She says, David, David, David, that was amazing.

Unknown Speaker (27:33): No one's ever done that. I've been doing talk therapy for twenty years, David. No one no one no one ever did what you did. I looked. I said, what did I do?

David DeHaas (27:42): Anyway, she says, David, you know, the way you did that process is amazing. I feel 50 pounds lighter. And guess what? That tumor in my abdomen, the size of a tennis ball, gone. Now the reason why it can collapse, and we talked about this a little bit on the show last week, with Ming Chengdu, the guy who worked in a medicineless hospital in China and taught about energy, is that when we change our energy in the atoms of your cells, quantum scientists have measured it.

David DeHaas (28:17): It's not bone, blood, or tissue. It's actually space. But what's in the space? That's the question. What's in the space is frequency.

David DeHaas (28:27): She changed the frequency. She forgave at a cell level and let it go as the little girl. She let it go, and it collapsed the tumor. Now we have a video down here we've been showing for years that, scientist Greg Braden has shown about what happens in these medicines hospitals. And it's rather remarkable, and we've seen it happen right here at Living Waters Wellness Center.

David DeHaas (28:52): So we believe it's not just the physical. We believe at the core, you gotta heal the emotional, mental, and spiritual. And when you do that, you reduce that inflammation physically, and now you reduce it mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, what we're talking about in this article. Now your lymphocytes, your T cells, your NK cells, the fighters, they have a fighting chance. They have the ability to seek out and take out the bad guys.

David DeHaas (29:17): This happens all day long. Every day, you are all creating cancer cells, every one of you. You can't miss them. But those of us who are you know, find time to relax, meditate, breathe. I know there's a great article out at Epoch Health, and this is about the cost of beef.

David DeHaas (29:37): Now we have been buying our beef from farmer John out in Weiser, grass fed, and farmer John gives him a lot of love. So, you know, you can go in. If you look at the beef aisle in Costco, he's this guy in this this article, he talks to the ground beef, $5.99 pound for conventionally grown or $6.24 a pound for grass fed. Not a huge gap. And then he says, you look at chicken, $2.99 a pound for conventional, $5.18 for organic.

David DeHaas (30:04): So should you buy the cheaper one? Well, like he goes on to talk about he says, and then I think about, you know, all my clients struggling with chronic depression, autoimmune disorders, and metabolic disease. I've stopped, he says, looking at the price per pound in isolation. What is the long term cost of not eating organic? What are you comparing it to when you're comparing an investment?

David DeHaas (30:30): I mean, it's like looking at a house. You got a house down the street for 350,000. You got another house for 700,000. The $700,000 house has some nice features, granite countertops, oak floors, etcetera. The other house has got vinyl.

David DeHaas (30:45): Maybe the carpet's torn a little bit. You know, it's a whole different experience. So long term in our body, the problem is is those of you who are eating cows that have been grain fed or poultry, especially poultry, has been grain fed versus, or fed soy. Well, that soy is inflammation stored in the chicken. Now the cow can help convert that in the body, convert that to what we can eat and handle.

David DeHaas (31:12): So, you know, here here's this important to know. Organic versus grass fed, they're not the same. Grass fed, which is granted by the American Grass Fed Association, has its own distinct standards. Animals eat only grass and forage from weaning until harvest. No grain ever.

David DeHaas (31:27): They're raised on open pasture, not feedlots, with no antibiotics or added growth hormones. We had Avery Claire on the show just two weeks ago, and she talked about what she's doing in Georgia with her farm. And you can buy directly from her if you wish to. If an animal gets sick on a grass fed, it gets pulled from the herd. All animals must be born and raised on American family farms to have the grass fed certification.

David DeHaas (31:46): Such standards matter beyond marketing. He says here, when an animal eats little becomes what you eat. If you feed a cow grass instead of grain, the fat changes at the molecular level, and the fat composition is what your cells are built from. The omega threes, which are great for your brain, grass fed beef contains two to five times more omega three fatty acids than grain fed. He writes here in my psychiatric practice, these numbers are not a minor nutritional footnote.

David DeHaas (32:13): Omega three deficiency is one of the most consistently documented biological features in patients with depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Meta analysis of omega three supplements in depression show meaningful effect sizes, yet most of my patients are walking around with omega six to three ratios that bear little resemblance to what human physiology was designed for. The typical Western diet has an omega six to three ratio between 10 to one and twenty five to one. The ratio our bodies evolved on and still function best at is closer between one to one and four to one. That chronic imbalance is a sustained pro inflammatory signal, one that drives not only cardiovascular disease and metabolic syndrome, which will create cancer, which increasingly appears central to treatment resistance, depression, anxiety disorders, and cognitive health.

David DeHaas (33:07): And I'm seeing that right now. I got my poor mother out in memory care. You know, the food they feed there is crap, and it hasn't helped her brain. And I'm doing everything I can on the other hand, but I'm I'm fighting the system. Anyway, grass fed beef, by contrast, typically produces a ratio closer to three to one.

David DeHaas (33:24): Every meal is, in small but a real way, pushing that ratio in either right direction or the wrong one. Grass fed beef contains two to four times more conjugated linoleic acid than grain fed beef. CLA has been associated with anticancer properties, reduced body fat, improved insulin sensitivity, and better body composition. For patients managing metabolic syndrome, type two diabetes, or obesity related inflammation, a substantial portion of whom also have chronic mental health conditions, the connection between metabolic health and psychiatric health is bidirectional and profound. My friends, where's the beef?

David DeHaas (34:04): Fat soluble vitamins and antioxidants. Well, well, one design study published in 2025 in the science of food found that grass fed beef contains nearly three times more vitamin a, more than four times more vitamin e, and three times more phytochemical antioxidants and grain fed beef in the same region. Vitamin E is critical neuroprotective antioxidant. Vitamin A precursors matter for immune regulation and epithelial integrity, which becomes relevant in relation to leaky gut and systemic inflammatory load. Phytochemicals such as polyphenols and carotenoids concentrated in the meat of the animal that grazes on biodiverse pastures have their own anti inflammatory and neuroprotective signaling effects that we're only beginning to map.

David DeHaas (34:46): Holy smokes. Folks, you gotta eat the beef. Get the gut healthy. What he said he finds striking as an integrated physician is that grass fed beef is essentially a conduit for phytochemical richness of the patcher itself. The animal becomes a translator, taking the nutrients from the diverse plant ecosystem and making them bioavailable in a form that human body absorbs with exceptional efficiency.

David DeHaas (35:06): Grain fed animals raised on monoculture corn and soy diets simply cannot replicate this translation. And then he goes on to talk about antibiotic resistance and mental health. You know, folks, I think it's obvious. What you eat is what you become. We gotta keep the gut healthy.

David DeHaas (35:24): You gotta begin with colon hydrotherapy. You get brand new cells in the colon every five days. You gotta clean up the blood. We do that by liver cleansing. You gotta get rid of the parasites.

David DeHaas (35:33): You gotta get rid of heavy metals. First of all, stop putting in toxic inputs. Don't drink out of aluminum. Don't drink out of plastic, and then keep your cell phone out of your bedroom. Take off your WiFi at night.

David DeHaas (35:45): Take a take fifteen minutes to an hour to meditate, breathe, relax, focus inward, and you're gonna start seeing changes physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It doesn't all happen overnight. I've been working on this for a long, long time myself. Of course, I had to because I had severe cancer twenty seven years ago, and I had to figure out how to get well on my own, which I did, and I treated my cancer naturally. And we're seeing more and more people do that.

David DeHaas (36:14): And what doctor Sieffried said, you know, it's a metabolic issue, this cancer. And he talks about a ketone diet, keto diet. We had doctor Rosie Maynard. She talked about what she's doing with the type one diabetes, going carnivore. Now I can't say everyone is gonna operate perfectly on that, but you need to pay attention.

David DeHaas (36:31): And what we teach you down here is how to muscle test your own body to see what's right for you. Hey, my friends. It's been a blessed week. I've enjoyed being with you. If you've enjoyed being with me, give us a review over on the Googles.

Unknown Speaker (36:42): You're listening on the podcast, you can do it right there. Easy peasy. Share it with a buddy. Share it with a friend. Share it with someone you care about.

Unknown Speaker (36:48): We give referral fees. We bribe you to send people in. Yeah. We do. We give you a credit for sending any people our way.

David DeHaas (36:54): If got you someone who needs to know this information, let us know at the office. We'll send out a video where they can take a look at it. It seems right to them, they can make a decision to come in or not. Until next week. You have a blessed week, my friends.
